I would really like some outside opinions for middle names for a girl. We know we want to name any girl we have after my grandmother, Marguerite, but we don't have a middle name. What are your thoughts on these?
Hmmm, those all feel like a lot of syllables to me. Marguerite is beautiful, but with a 3 syllable first name, I would probably choose a middle name with 1-2 syllables.

I agree with this.

Thanks, ladies. I do agree with @bbiutmcph that they are full of character and I like that (I am leaning towards Ophelia too). But I will definitely take into consideration the fact that they might be a mouthful. I am reminded that my sister has Marguerite for her middle name and her first name is 7 letters long! She always complained that her names were too long to spell out. haha
It's not very often that you say full name so I think any of the names are just fine. Eloise got my vote as that's DD name, I love it and I think it flows nicest.
I agree with the PPs but I also agree that full names are never usually said. Though ive heard the sort of silly 'test' of how it would sound to yell or call out to the child by their full name and those names do seem like quite a mouthful in that context. Margureite with a shorter middle would be my input. However i myself am considering adding a second middle name to the name at the top of my list, so it really could go either way.
I say my baby's full name several times a day, but maybe because it's short and I like the flow... so I think it just depends on the individual.
I voted Ophelia and like the name but have always wondered about the literary reference (Shakespeare), which isn't so positive. Is there another one that's better that I'm not aware of? Or is that just my own personal bias?
