  • When you take a bath and then get stuck in the tub and have to call to H to help get you out. Oh brother...
I was giving DD a bath yesterday and got stuck on the floor. Thank goodness DH was home because he had to pick me up!
  • This bending over feed reminds me of my high school cheer coach, who always told us to squat instead of bending at the waist to avoid flashing people!
who knew THAT advice would come in handy?
  • Yes to the bending. I almost got stuck in the laundry room because there was no room for squatting and I needed the dryer balls off the floor. Home alone of course. As for the sound effects of pregnancy, I've been making those for a while. Moving silently is no longer an option. I'm either grunting or panting for breath from the previous movement. On the other hand...
When the grunting you're doing gets those around you to help with any little thing. Socks and shoes, nah, hubby got it. Pick up and carry that bag, nah, anyone who can see you psyching yourself up for the squat got it.

Also when you need the maternity belt for your back but when you wear it baby moves up and kicks or hits you in the diaphragm making it hard to breath therefore slowing you down just as much as your back.
  • When you feel like a freak of nature when you sleep... Snoogle surrounding your body AND pillows under your head, a nasal strip which barely controls your snoring, and a giant wrist brace with a metal bar to help your carpel tunnel... and you still toss and turn, snore, have heartburn, and wake up with numb hands. #NOTHINGHELPS, I just look like a weirdo!
  • First off, resurrected!! Lol!
Second, when your getting so few steps on your Fitbit the people that regularly requested you join their daily or weekly challenges have stopped inviting you.   :#
  • I was craving watermelon yesterday, I find a delicious one! But then use had to carry this ten pounds watermelon up two flights of stairs. I'm pretty sure that if anyone had been around they would have laughed their heads off, especially since I started panting on like the third step! Stupid cravings!

When you cant decide what is more comfortable, because in all honestly, all positions hurt. Sitting, standing or laying down? I'll be sitting for 10 minutes before my ass goes numb then I'll stand, only to have my legs give up. Laying bothers my hips and/or back. I give up.
THIS!  My co-worker is due in July, and she came by my office yesterday and said, "Please tell me your ass is supposed to go numb after sitting for a while!  I don't want to call my doctor and sound like an idiot!"  I just laughed and told her to get used to it because it isn't going to get better any time soon.  LOL  But seriously, you're right @yogahh, there is not a single position at this point that doesn't hurt!
  • When you feel super unsexy because you have to resort to old lady compression stockings for your cankles/feet, but that feeling gets a million times worse when you have to ask your husband to squeeze them onto your sausage legs.
  • Things I have said to my H this week:

"I think my water just broke, omg! ... Wait, nope. False alarm. I just peed my pants."

"omg!! I'm having a contraction! I think this is it! ....Wait, nope. False alarm. I just had to fart."
    Yes ... This times a million .

Pregnant STM thoughts less than 2 weeks away from due date:
I just want to sleep or nap or anything that involves laying down (said while chasing toddler around all day with swelling feet)...then the second toddler goes to sleep I sometimes do too only to be up 10 mins later having to pee...then laying in bed for hours unable to sleep at all. :/

  • "omg!! I'm having a contraction! I think this is it! ....Wait, nope. False alarm. I just had to fart."
This!!! This is happening too much! Not a fan at all!

When you bend over to pick up your toddler's socks and unknowingly make noise and your mother in law asks if you are alright.  Definitely ok, just too much work to bend over!!! Haha!
I don't even realize half the time that I'm making noises/grunting when I bend over/get out of bed/off the couch/put on socks&shoes/etc because it's just the norm now and I'm not sure I could accomplish the task without making noises/grunting.
Lol! I didn't either until my toddler pointed them out and calls them pregnancy noises.

My grandmother has this grabber tool thing to grab things on the floor. I am wondering if that might be a good idea for all the toddler toys everywhere these last weeks. ;)
