I've never been a sweats person (weird I know!) I've always been salty (give me chips, salsa and queso please!). But one of the girls that joined our Bachelor watch party makes amazing cakes and cupcakes aaaand I can't get enough lately!

I've been here since 4 weeks pregnant but I don't post on tons of stuff due to lack of time. As long as you're contributing and giving support you're a reg in my eyes

I want Tacos... It's Tuesday... So even though I said I would not eat out this week, I am so tempted to give in and get some. This baby sure does love spicy Mexican food!

@VikingGirl12 - I hear you. I got my blood work done on a Thursday around noon. I got the test result two Monday's after. So, six full business days I guess? FX yours comes in the next few days!

That's what I consider a "regular"  if you've commented enough for me to recognize your username (and they haven't all just been questions that you've asked and never responded to) you're a regular in my book (again, not that any one person gets to decide such a thing).

Haven't posted since right before the holidays started but now I'm getting back in the swing of things. So HEY! everybody! Hope everyone is doing well and recovering from holiday stress. My random post is that I just had the best tacos I've had in I don't know how long. A ton of Mexican rice and I'm pretty sure I have guac coming out of my ears at this point. I also splurged and had a Mexican Coke AND a mandarin Jarritos. I feel like I could pop. I started physical therapy last week which will hopefully help with my back pain (being bedridden for that first tri made me super weak) and my anatomy scan is tomorrow. Not sure how I'm going to sleep tonight. Feeling like a kid on Christmas Eve.

It's a little frustrating. I just don't understand why these people want to be added to a list in a group that they don't even participate in. I know on my last BMB we had people join later in pregnancy but once they did join the actively posted and responded to other posts.

As for those that worry that I mean them as long as you occasionally post I don't mind. It's the ones who want to be added and when I go back and click their names the only time they have EVER posted on any board on the Bump is on the spreadsheet post. It just doesn't make sense to me.

@fishwife799 - I think it is awesome that you still have the patience to update the list (especially with the random drive-by posters).  Though I agree with you...why anyone would want themselves on a list for a group they don't participate in is beyond me.

I took DS to a regular toddler playgroup at our temple on Friday only to find out after getting there that one of the women invited her friend who sells Mary Kay to do a "party" with us. She basically ambushed us so she could get the hostess freebies (without actually being a hostess to boot). Now the Mary Kay woman is emailing me. I hate those pyramid scheme direct sales people with a passion. Half the crap she gave me during the so called free facial turned out to have retinol in it after I specifically told her I couldn't use retinol-containing cosmetics while pregnant.

Every company is a pyramid scheme of sorts. I love supporting direct sales. It's a ton of work, and I applaud those that can do it. We all work so the boss makes more money.

My baby is made of Apple Jacks. I looooove Apple Jacks right now. Great breakfast and afternoon snack and late night snack. I just try not to have it twice a day if I can help it, but it's so hard!!

I don't feel like a true regular, but enough to feel kinda part of the group. Because I don't comment that much, but I "heart" so many things and read a lot! I also haven't read the sex thread since the first day when I realized it was about sex of the baby and not having sex!

This exactly. Most are pushy and also always trying to recruit new people to sell because that's how you really make money in those businesses. The ones that just sell their product I have no problem with, but I meet few of them. My friend sells jewelry via advertising on a separate facebook page from her main one and I buy from her whenever I feel like it. Another friend turned her personal facebook into one big cosmetics ad with alternating posts about how selling for that company was so awesome. Litterally 3-4 post each day and some PMs too. I had to unfriend her.

Last week I went with DH to Houston to his company's main office. He hadn't told his boss yet that we were expecting and wanted to do it in person. Keep in mind, my bump isnt huge yet and could easily be mistaken for a few too many treats over the holidays, but the second his boss saw me, he said "Oh my gosh! I had no idea! Congratulations, we have to have a chat in my office about this in a few minutes." My first thought was, you idiot - if I wasn't pregnant right now, I would be so WILDLY offended its not even funny. What happened to people waiting to be told by a pregnant woman or her husband that there's a baby in there instead of letting speculation run rampant?

DH insisted on setting up the pack n play we got last night despite literally not needing it for at least 5 more months. Then he decided we needed to test the basinett attachment to make sure it'd hold the baby. We're not doing a very good job of trying to teach this guy he is not, in fact, a human.

@ahernandez16 - SO MUCH CUTENESS.  Love your pup.    Sadly, my pup will not fit in the bassinet attachment to the PnP we eventually get since he weighs 110-120lbs.  It would be hilarious if he did though.

I finally found the perfect couch for my sad couch-less living room last night and responded within 10 minutes of it being posted for sale. Got in my car to go check it out this morning, opened my email to get the guy's address, and had an email from him saying someone else was coming to get it. Goddammit you asshole.

I'm super annoyed because I ordered a few dresses (non maternity just bigger sizes) from the Lilly Pulitzer 1 day sale last week and Fed Ex claims one package with 2 of the dresses in it was delivered on Saturday and it never showed up at my house... I'll be so bummed if the package is really missing because I can't replace the dresses 1) at all because it was their end of season clearance 2) at anywhere near the same price (I'd have to hunt Ebay or other sites to find them). Hoping fed ex finds that box!!!

I can stay home with my kids because of my direct sales biz. It is fun, it's much harder work than I ever thought it would be, even with my product being wine.

However, @vulpini, I agree 100% that the ambush was not cool. The consultant should have made sure her "hostess" had informed the attendees it was a selling party. That's Direct Selling 101. I imagine her sales weren't great anyway since nobody was prepared to buy or really interested in being there.

I'm a consultant for Norwex and hated the thought of pressuring people. It's hard to find that balance and it definitely SUCKS to have those friends. There are those of us who aren't in your face about it but it seems the majority are and don't care if they act all cray-cray about their latest venture.
