Just a friendly reminder,

Before you post a question, please look around the board, even 2-3 pages back to see if your question has recently been answered.
If you haven't found your answer, please try using the search function, located at the bottom of your screen. Here you can enter keywords and search past threads in which you may find the information you are looking for.

Many of us are going through the same emotions, worries, and symptoms and have created several discussions about such. When we start several threads about the same topic, it busies up the board and makes it difficult for those who have a unique or new question to have it answered.

We are all excited to be here, to be pregnant and we all want to give the best possible advice and support that we can. Best of luck to everyone throughout your pregnancy journey.

I get the reason to have this sticky, but since it's already noted in the bump guidelines (already sticky) I think it's unnecessary. If they don't read the bump guidelines, they won't read this either IMO.

It's a good point, but sometimes seeing the words written out at the top each time the page opens actually does deter and remind. Hopefully @BumpAdmin @BumpTara @BumpCaitlin or @BumpMay will sticky it.

I'd be more inclined to read a post by a member than an admin, and then use the admin posts for a reference point. Thanks for putting this up.

Thanks for this, at one point I think we had three threads on morning sickness/nausea on the first page. I get it sucks but there's really only so many ways to rehash ways to alleviate it.

@Natinat6 you have to scroll all the way down for the board search box. It's right under the page numbers

Trying to figure out how to add a ticker to my signature.... I'm no computer expert.... it doesnt seem to be working! Can someone help??

@jolydan Once you copy the code, go to your signature settings and click on the last icon that looks like a piece of paper with two red arrows that look like this <>. After you do that, paste in your code and it should work.

@jolydan, I know two options pop up after you complete your ticker. Are you copying the top one or the bottom one? It should be the top one.

ETA: It should start with <a href...not URL.

I believe if you are on the website, you can just right click what looks like the ticker (above the two links) and then copy, and then paste it into your signature.

I'm going to sit on my soapbox for a moment and say that it's important to use the search function especially at the time when women are losing their babies. Those threads deserve attention and to be sitting at the top. It's also important during the time of the NT scan and especially during the time of the anatomy scan. These are when issues arise and it's terrible that somebody has their thread pushed down for repeat.

The problem is that even after someone points them to the right thread a bunch of other people comment, which makes the new thread stay on the first page.

As an aside, sometimes search doesn't work for me. I search for things I KNOW we've talked about and nothing comes up. (Hopefully it's not user error!)

Other stickies will replace it from being the very first: It doesn't come to the top unless it's commented on.

And this thread should be the first and only too sticky thread. This thread clearly gets by passed as a sticky when others are bumped to the top.

I don't disagree with you, but I'm pretty positive the the Admins will always want Bump Guidelines/TOU up top too.

I appreciate your bumping it though. And I agree it's good to keep at the top, otherwise I wouldn't have made it. It's so important for people to follow the search function. And to look before posting.

I don't know why it matters this board never changes maybe because ppl are afraid to ask questions. The one and only time I posted someone got snarky and said that's already been asked - well smh i hope you can forgive me....
