Thanksgiving Fun

I always do this thing on Facebook, where I post what I'm thankful for every day from the first of November through Thanksgiving. I thought this would be a good idea here too! Just post what day we're on, and what you're thankful for. I'll start:

Day 1: I'm grateful for my fiancé. He is literally my rock, and the ONLY person who gets me.

  • Day 1: I'm thankful that we have food day at work tonight, and one of my co-workers brought potato salad.

  • October was a very stressful month for me, work related. I am so happy and thankful that November is here. My favorite month of the year!

Day 2: Today I am thankful for fried pickles. And that I can have them delivered to my door. (Why yes, I am pregnant! Thank you ;) )

    Edit: Because typing is hard
  • Day 2: thankful for DS. I couldn't imagine my life without him and barely remember my life before him. I couldn't be more thankful that God chose me to be his mother.
  • Day 2: I'm thankful for DH, yesterday while i was sleeping (i work night shift) he did all our laundry as well as raking up all the leaves in our yard.
  • Day 3: I'm thankful for the ability to sleep in. (Enjoying it while it lasts)

Day 3: I'm grateful that there's a Cinnabon in Ogilvie Transportation Center for me to hit up on my way to work every morning. YUM.

Omg I miss cinnabon so much! I went like everyday when I lived in ABQ, but alas, my small town has yet to experience the glory that is cinnabon. Great news about your grandma too!
  • Day 3: I am thankful for my husband. He is simply amazing.

I hadn't eaten there in YEARS before I got pregnant, but baby loves cinnamon rolls and these are my best option in the area.  I may grab another one on my way home. That one is for you!

And thanks... just keeping our fingers crossed now that the rest of the news we're waiting on is also positive. Cancer sucks, man.
  • Day 3: I'm Thankful for my job, and that I get to choose the hours I work. Probably gonna take off two days next week to get the house clean!
  • Day 3: I'm thankful for my two little weenie dogs! I love snuggling with them while I binge-watch netflix
  • Day 4: I'm thankful for Netflix. Oooh! And Santa's White Christmas ice cream!
  • Day 4- Thankful for my job and the flexibility it has allowed me over the last almost 6 years.
  • Day 4: I'm thankful for US machines! Such a magical experience seeing our little baby girl... I'm in awe each time we get a glimpse!
  • Day 4: I'm definitely thankful for my dogs. They really are mans best friend! As soon as DH leaves for work they jump up on the bed and sandwich me. Then wake me up at 7:30am to take them out to pee lol they're just like kids. The small one keeps my bump warm and the big one keeps my back warm lol
I really hope they do well one baby comes!
  • Like a few others have said, I'm thankful for this snuggle bug. He never leaves my side so he may be a bit jealous when the baby gets here lol
  • Day 4: I'm thankful for the next generation! My husband's best friend and his wife are about to have their second child.  My dear friend who lost her little girl at 20 weeks last year after years of TTC is 8 weeks pregnant now (HALLELUJAH!!!! I may have gotten more excited about her first ultrasound and that strong, healthy heartbeat than I did about my own!). I just found out that another good friend's brother and his wife are expecting in May. All of these people are practically part of our extended family, and it's so exciting to think about all these babies growing up together. I'm hopeful that they'll grow the same sort of strong friendships with each other that their parents already have!

Catching up (because I think this is a beautiful idea!):

Day 1: I was thankful for good results: no cancer in any of the lymph nodes they removed from my grandma's breast, and they think they got the whole tumor. So far, it's been the best possible outcome of a miserable situation.
Awesome news! Cancer sucks - I hope your grandma bounces back quickly. It sounds like there won't be a shortage of people around her for help and support!
  • Day 5: I'm thankful my mom and food network taught me how to cook. I have no idea how I would have faired up til now if not for this!!!
  • Day 4: I'm thankful that DH lets me get away with only working part time :D

Day 5: I'm thankful that tonight is date night with DH so I don't have to cook supper!

Day 5: I'm so thankful for my MIL who helps us when we need it and seriously spoils us! Our dryer broke, so she has been taking our clothes and washing and drying them for us. She also cooks dinner anytime we go to see her. She's the best mom, grandma and MIL!
