I always do this thing on Facebook, where I post what I'm thankful for every day from the first of November through Thanksgiving. I thought this would be a good idea here too! Just post what day we're on, and what you're thankful for. I'll start:
Day 1: I'm grateful for my fiancé. He is literally my rock, and the ONLY person who gets me.
Re: Thanksgiving Fun
Photos for giggles, because I won't be smiling when I clean the sliding door. Also because the cat is a smug asshole and my pets are how I entertain myself.
I am incredibly thankful for the blessing and opportunity to be able to carry a child and have a healthy pregnancy. It truly is a miracle. I'm also thankful for my wonderful family and my boyfriend who's absolutely amazing.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone
Edit: Because typing is hard
I really hope they do well one baby comes!
Day 5: I'm thankful that tonight is date night with DH so I don't have to cook supper!
*edit because I never proof read before I post.
Day 2: I'm thankful for my experiences in the military and the people I've met. Meeting people from so many walks of life has helped open my eyes and has forced me to become a warmer, more understanding person and I'm proud of that trait's development.
Day 3: I'm thankful for this forum. I am not close to my family and have a difficult time trusting people/making friends. People love talking to me about their problems and I love helping by lending an ear or giving advice, but they rarely stick around. TB has given me an outlet for so many things that weigh on my mind and it feels good to have support, even if it's from people I'll never meet.
Day 4: I'm thankful for DH because he makes me feel connected to LO. He kisses and snuggles my belly every morning before I go to work and texts me regularly throughout the day asking how "his bean" is doing. I'm hoping to feel more connected when I can feel baby move, but we shall see.
Day 5: I'm thankful for my mom, despite our differences. Today is her 59th birthday! There are many, many things we don't agree on, but I hope I can be as enthusiastic and involved with my own children (both blood and step-kids) as she always was with us and still is with her grandkids.
