@rachlee2010 I'm on 1 ml in morning and 1 at night. MOST people are on your dosage, my Dr is different on EVERYTHING! My boss was on 1 ml a night and got pregnant with fraternal twins (both eggs stuck), so it worked just fine for her!! Stop worrying!

@wenikilina glad to hear you are on the same dose as me! Makes me feel better. My lower back is also very uncomfortable but I am figuring most of that is due to the PIO shots. I had cramps most of the day on Thursday (2dp5dt)..yesteray and this morning I have had some abdominal discomfort but not sure if it's just gas stomach stuff or due to baby stuff, either way it's not my normal gassy feeling so who knows. Then I think all of what I am feeling is all in my head because I am looking for things and they aren't real. Ugh..i hate the wait..we will see if I make it waiting to test but I know the absolute earliest I will do it would be wednesday at 8dp5dt

My boss let me go bc they can't accommodate another week of bed rest. I'm in panic mode and I can't relax! I'm scared bc of all of this blood and the baby, and now this is a huge financial strain. The Dr keeps saying relax, but that's impossible when you get fired

@twomommiestobe that sucks..I am so sorry. You are a nanny right, so I guess you can't do some of those big business things like FMLA..it's kind of sucky that your employer couldn't bear with you..does she know what's going on? I guess on the other side she does need someone to care for her children. I am really sorry
@lsattuto126 I was a nanny so I don't get any job protection. Yeah, they knew about the ivf and everything. I'm in shock. I think hurt more than anything bc I felt like part of the family and it's like they didn't even care. This is the most stressful thing that could have happened right now. I'm on be dress but need to find a job asap. After ivf, we are financially drained so I can't afford to miss much work. Any other time in life we would be ok, but of course we used every penny to have this baby. Lol

@twomommiestobe I'm sorry. I bet they figured you were having a child and you probably wouldn't watch theirs after you've had yours so they are finding someone quick. Still very upsetting especially if you were close to them. That or they didn't want a lawsuit if something happened to you or the baby. People can be so messed up. Frustrating! All I can say is, rest for now while you can, get the baby strong and healthy and then worry about a job. I know the money is tight but if you over stress you may hurt yourself or the baby and then you will have lost everything and do IVF again which will cost more. Try to think of the positive if you can. Sending hugs your way!!

Fert update: Only 2/6 embryos fertilized They did mention that our 2 look great, but it looks like we will be having a 3 day transfer on Thursday since they don't want to chance them not making it to blastocysts. We will have to speak with RE tomorrow as to how many we will transfer etc. tomorrow. Do we transfer both? Do we transfer 1 and freeze the other? What if the 1 we freeze doesn't make it through the unfreezing process? I'd appreciate some feedback! I feel very defeated I really don't want to have to do another retrieval again if this doesn't work, but of course I will.

@capps42613 it is so hard to answer those questions. My RE was very upfront with us from the beginning that she didn't think we would get a lot of eggs so we had to decide before the retrieval if we got more than 1 how many we would transfer. As far as the thawing process...the rates are a little lower for eggs frozen on day 3 and that is because day 4 of growth is energetically the hardest day for the egg during development. But thaw rates are a lot better over all with 3 and 5 day embryos because the process they use to freeze and thaw. They use a process called ventrification which my Embryologist said of the thousands she has thawed she has only lost 1 and that was to a genetic disorder after they tested the egg to see what went wrong.

@capps42613 it's a tough and personal decision. I know I would go with two but the idea of twins doesn't bother me. If we had had 2 embryos we were planning to put 2 in but we only had 1 grow to day 5.
Ladies I am going crazy here in the 2ww...why is this so hard. I am a bit better when at work and more distracted. Today I felt totally normal which makes me think the worst even though I know some people don't realize they ware pregnant until way later sometimes because they have no symptoms. I wish my beta was sooner. I am scared to test at home because I really don't want to see a BFN especially if it's a false one. This is the worst

Before we were to decide, the nurse told us to imagine how we would feel if we transferred one and then imagine how we would feel if we transferred two. If we thought we would go home and freak out over transferring one and it not taking, then transfer two. But if the thought of transferring two made us freak out over the thought of twins, transfer one. That's what she told us anyway, and it helped to solidify our decision. We had already decided that if we had two to transfer, we'd transfer two because it would increase the odds of our success. We were also perfectly fine with the idea of having twins. It's such a personal decision but I hope this helps a bit!

You've all been very helpful, believe it or not. It's just crazy because our RE said in the beginning (before stimming, guess he expected better progress) that he would NOT transfer more than 1 being as though I've held a successful pregnancy (8yrs ago) before and because of my age (28). So it just a little crazy we are now contemplating transferring both. I'll keep you all posted on our embabies growth & RE discussion tomorrow

@rachlee2010 when you say baseline what does that mean exactly? I have my first US and blood work Thursday and they will tell me what to start taking. I had taken ganirelix thur thru sat and estrioldol from thur thru today and now stopped since I got my period. Can't believe they are making you wait 2 full weeks for a beta. Best of luck waiting.

@rachlee2010 I knew I was pregnant because I felt different. My mid/lower back was painful. I had cramps. I had insomnia. It was all unusual for me and nothing like the symptoms I was already having with the meds.

You are a nanny right, so I guess you can't do some of those big business things like FMLA..it's kind of sucky that your employer couldn't bear with you..does she know what's going on? Ladies I am going crazy here in the 2ww...why is this so hard. I am a bit better when at work and more distracted. Today I felt totally normal which makes me think the worst even though I know some people don't realize they ware pregnant until way later sometimes because they have no symptoms. I wish my beta was sooner. I am scared to test at home because I really don't want to see a BFN especially if it's a false one. This is the worst

@capps42613 I'd def do what makes you feel comfortable. Like she said.. If you're ok with getting twins put both if not then do one. Whatever the choice will be the right one. Xoxo

IVF#3 retrieval 4/23/16- 0 healthy embryos. IVF#4 retrieval 6/17/16- 1 healthy embryo. FET#1-Transferred Both Healthy Embryos on 9/6/16 BFP!! 9/15/16 Beta 22.3, 9/17/16 Beta 60.5 & 9/19/16 Beta 195! 1st US on 9/23/16, only 1 Gast Sac & Yolk Sac found, US 9/30/16 US 6wk 1day saw and heard Heartbeat 120bpm!! EDD 5/25/2017 Had a healthy baby girl via CSection on 5/18/17 8lbs 15oz.
