Morning, and happy weekend! Today? I'm not doing a damn thing, other than taking hubby lunch to him at work.
Baby is doing somersaults in my tummy this morning. And I'm watching Friends on Netflix- and this is the episode that Phoebe has her triplets. Enter cry fest!
February Siggy Challenge- Post pregnancy indulgences
I'm visiting my hometown for a gal pals baby shower (it was last night which I thought was odd but really happy to have the rest of my weekend to myself) and some of my close friends went out after. Since I'm young and hip I decided to join them.
Yeahhhhh I feel like I have a hangover because I didn't get into bed until 1 and I woke up at 6. Soooo used to crawling into bed at like 9pm every night! Not sure how I am going to function today but I guess this is a great precursor to motherhood.
I've been so productive today. My husband is home so I've made him help me clean the house. It's so nice and tidy...just in time for my family to come over and make a mess.
We went to the grocery store and some lady asked if we were related...I looked down and my giant stomach and said "God, I hope not." She felt so uncomfortable, but I mean you did just ask if I was related to my husband who looks nothing like me.
Anyway, this crazy hurricane is blowing through and we are projected to get 10+ inches of rain this weekend where I live. I hope we don't wash away.
@SarahFoley725 I'm about to tackle cleaning the apartment by myself. Love when it all looks perfect at the end but hate actually getting there, lol. Stay dry!!!!!
My husband is the best ever! My legs have been crampy tonight so he spent over 1/2 hour massaging my legs (usually I can't get more than a 3 minute back rub out of him) and he made me a rice bag heating pad to use on my calves where the cramps are the most.
His reward? HE FINALLY GOT TO FEEL BABY KICK! It was an amazing moment for us he was soo excited and happy, which made me happy and teary-eyed.
I love the little moments

I'm so happy with my choice to remain team green but it's so exciting hearing all your news!! There are times when I just want to know!! @lcq5504 congratulations!!!!!
You know the way you're not supposed to post pee stick pictures and ask others if you are pregnant except for in that one thread? I think it'd be great to have a similar protocol for 'guess whether my baby has a penis or vagina!' posts. It'd probably avoid a lot of drama and the drive by SS posters would have a place to call home. The WKs would be out of action though. Sucks for them.
Eta I guess we already do have that in the form of the ultrasound thread. Duh.
@ecwk yay for team green! There's just something about that extra element of surprise. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy when other people find out the sex, I'm just choosing not to. There will be no "guess what sex my baby is" posts from me.

@JessKo08 I can definitely understand people wanting to find out ahead of time. It was tough to look away at that point in the ultrasound!! Everyone I've spoken to who has remained team green though has been so so glad they did. I think the anticipation might be a huge factor in motivating me through the joys of labour!!!
Aw baby was kicking me just now. Hubby felt one kick, the strongest one I've felt so far. It is so damn amazing. I just melt. I just want to cry. It's such a small little poke but such a powerful feeling. Sorry to be an AW, I'm just in awe of this little baby in me :x
@ecwk The awesome thing to me is that (imho) no matter how many children you have the amazement never goes away. I still get just as happy to feel this little baby boy move around as I did with my very 1st. :x

I am dying to feel kicks from the outside. My husband is so anxious and since he's gone so much I know he'll leave and she'll start kicking hard that very day!
Baby must be going through a growth spurt because I'm feeling really uncomfortable and STRETCHED today. My belly just feels taut and itchy and I hate it. I also feel like I'm starting to waddle and my back is achy from the extra weight on the front. I'm only 19 weeks and smaller this time than I was with my last baby. I wasn't expecting to feel this uncomfortable already!!
@ecwk it's a bittersweet feeling lol. I do miss it and knowing this is for sure our last makes me treasure it just a little more but the last month or so I get so uncomfortable because of baby running out of room and the kicks get so much stronger.

@kitteh81 it could be just the way baby is laying. I know I have been having that issue to. Sometime I'm fine, sometimes the lay so-so and I feel like a blown up balloon, ready to pop.
Strange thing is, I'm feeling the most uncomfortable above my belly button and up to my ribs, and I know that my uterus is only about belly button height. I guess it's shoving all my other internal organs up, which is probably causing the stretching sensation. I just hate it.
I just spent a few hours on the floor carving pumpkins this morning. Then rolled around like a turtle on my back trying to stand. NOT my most graceful moment. LOL!!
Have had a couple of those moments, lol. I remember with my first pregnancy, I always laughed at my doctor because he would offer me a hand up from the chair/table thing they have u sit in. But the last 2 weeks, ds moved down and suddenly he was laughing as I rolled and squirmed trying to get up.
So finally.getting an idea for a FB announcement.... wasn't feeling inspired until now but I need daylight for better photography ... also mommy and daddy Dino were our cake toppers from the wedding
So it was me and DS from Thursday on (DH went to the deer camp til today). Yesterday I got the gumption up (between all the coughing and peeing) to go shopping with DS. When we left the store, all I could smell was the Chinese food from this one place at the mall... It was the hardest thing I've ever done, having to share my Chinese food with DS
Quick vent. Maybe I should save this for Thursday's UO, but since my A/S is tomorrow, I'm spewing now.
I posted on facebook today: My ultrasound is tomorrow. If you care to cast your vote, do so now!
99% of people guess boy or girl. But there has to be that one person that says "I bet it's a baby!" Ugh. Obviously. It just annoys me.
Which reminds me of this one time that I went to a bonfire with some friends. They had other friends there I'd never met`. The girl was pregnant, so I was just making small talk and asked, "Do you know what you're having?" She snapped, "We're hoping for a baby." Seriously. I'm just trying to make conversation. Can you give me a little grace here? I know people get sick of being asked that question all the time - I've been pregnant twice. I've heard it all. But I can usually understand that people are just being interested/making conversation.
Rant over. Hope y'all had a great weekend! Anyone else having their big ultrasound tomorrow??
Married 7.29.05 :: DD1 5.11.10 :: DD2 1.23.13 :: Baby Boy due 3.13.16!
@kynbar5 I love to hear that! I can't imagine it ever not being amazing! I bet you'd miss it after they're born lol :x
I agree with @kynbar5! I haven't had as many kids as she has, but I actually feel like I am enjoying the little kicks and squirms MORE this pregnancy than last time!
I am so jealous. I am 20 weeks today with an anterior placenta. I feel the smallest little wiggle every now and then but nothing major or regular. By this time with DS1 I could feel him moving all over the place!! Plus my a/s isn't until Thirsday. All the waiting!!
Anyone else not want to get out of bed?? Made the mistake of watching the Walking Dead last night depressing episode so I ended up having weird dreams again. (

I've really got to catch up! I missed the newest episode and talk about weird dreams haha my children are all mixed babies with the caramel skin, dark eyes and hair (husband is black I'm white) but for some reason I had a dream that my son was born very pale with blonde hair lol. He was cute though hahahha

Happy last week of October everyone. Just a little less than two months now until I am DONE with this job. I am 20 weeks today and I am having way too much fun with the baby being the size of a banana. DH has been calling her Hannah Banana since we picked a name so it's extra fun now.
HELLO LADIES!! It's been way too long. Hopefully I'm back in the living for a long time. Pneumonia is still hanging around but the meds are definitely working.
So we moved into our house over the weekend. Oh my gosh it's amazing to have our own space again. And the boys LOVE their house - baby proofing has been interesting since our 1-year old gets into EVERYTHING - but better to figure it out now before we have another rugrat getting into everything. But my 4-year old is so excited about his house. We're trying to figure out the playdoh thing since he loves his playdoh - how do you set up a special area for him where he won't get chunks of playdoh EVERYWHERE???
How are you all??
DS1 - 9/21/11

Oh and YES to the anterior placenta frustrations. I feel wiggles here and there but nothing strong. I'm so used to my other two ninjas who were hurting me by now. Someday soon hopefully DH will be able to feel baby boy.
