You think when SP comes back she'll start a crazy thread to get us all riled up for fun? I thought for a second that the Tacky post was SP punking us. But that went over (so far) much better than I thought it would.

There will be a reckoning!! JK. I miss her though.
Kara saying she saw cupcakes on TB front page made me think of this ad I saw on TB last night. I was all ummm....really? Not the best one for a bunch of expectant moms!
I returned my breast pump to the hospital today (finally). On the way down from L&D I shared the elevator with a guy who I thought might be half heartedly flirting with me. I wasn't sure so I just asked, "So, did you just have a baby?" Him: "My girlfriend did at 6:30 this morning. Well, ex-girlfriend." Me: "congrats!" Him: "that's what I told her. I mean, we're staying friends but I'm not...." Luckily the elevator doors opened so I just smiled, said, congrats again on your baby, and left.
I still don't know whether or not he was trying to hit on me. I really hope not because that's a whole new level of scumbag. Plus, you think this is the time to check out other obviously pregnant chicks? Really? When you just had a baby that you may or may not be telling random strangers you don't want much to do with. Way to win a girl over.
Edited because you need to use all the words in a sentence or it doesn't make sense.
That should have gone in the TWT thread. I think he would have got the crown for Twatwaffle King.
I think I need a BMB consultant. I never know where to put anything. I decided that a thread with "random" right in the title would suit most of my posting needs. Except when I want you all to guess the sex of my baby. I'll put that in its own extra special thread. I might even make two: one with ultrasound pictures and one with pictures of a variety of my own body parts so you can see how high I'm carrying, how bloated my feet are, and the shape and color of my areola.
@CaraBoonie we do Blue Apron maybe once a month but I've been skipping too since all I want is cereal and I don't feel like cooking. Maybe week 16 will be my magical week of energy

Ew. What jerks. What is this? Buzzfeed?
Also, going back to cupcakes. I settled for a Little Debbie Zebra Cake instead. I figured it was comparable and convenient. lmao

Ohhh a little frisky with that areola pic - does that violate TOU? You might have to put it up really fast like they do with pee sticks and take it down after a hour. Belly button pic is most important.
It's not even 9 am and now I'm dying for McDonald's!! A Big Mac dipped in sweet and sour sauce and fries dipped in Mac sauce. I'm already drooling.
I've never had biscuits and gravy. Is it a thing in Canada? I feel a little ignorant.... But I did have a real poutine yesterday. I came to Quebec to visit family and ate a huge one within 10 mins of my arrival! I want another one for supper today again. It's my favourite!!
I get my Big Macs with no sauce. DH thinks it's the strangest thing ever. I just add ketchup and mustard and it's SOOO good. All the burgers from there need extra pickle and extra onion. I might attempt burger tonight after all this talk....
@KaraEpp16 seems so weird but I like gravy and I like biscuits. I was going to say that it doesn't sound very nutritious but I don't think that my buttered bagel is either!
Random thought: I have been increasingly more jealous while being pregnant. It's ridiculous and annoying to me, I can only imagine how SO feels about it. Anyone else feel more jealous about little things?
Last. Ifht I had the best soft serve ice cream I've had in a long time. Small town ice cream place an I asked for cotton candy., thinking it would be hard. Nope and I was very pleased. They have 20+ soft serve flavours which is just unheard of near me Loved it

Last night. Sorry guys the app won't let me fix or edit.... Boo
@chipmonster you are a girl after my own heart. I've never met anyone else who likes to dip their Big Mac in sweet and sour sauce. DH thinks I'm funny. We NEVER go to McDonald's except for breakfast. However since I've been preggo we've been like 3 times, and every time I'm like "can I have 4 sweet and sour sauces?"

Me, too. I'm convinced that SO has a girlfriend. lmao He doesn't think its funny even though he laughs at me when I get all pissy. Country fried steak for me. mmmmm
@ChipMonster - it is NOT healthy but that's why its so good.
I usually get a thing of grands biscuits. Bake those bad boys. Get some country style gravy from like McCormick. Fully cooked breakfast sausage. Make the gravy. Cut the sausage into little bits and add it to the gravy while it cooks. Take biscuits out of oven and half them. Smother them in gravy and gooooooooood gracious you have a delicious delicious meal. It's filling though.
I'll be demanding McD's or Chipotle for dinner tonight. I forgot to pull pork chops out of the freezer last night, oops. Oh well, I hate cooking in a freshly cleaned kitchen anyway.
Flame me if you think I'm being ridiculous. As I sit here eating my grilled pistachio muffin with all the butter - I'm contemplating the absolute OBSESSION some of the ladies have on here about weight gain.
I understand that some of the women here had weight-loss surgery and they're nervous. I understand that others have struggled with their weight or even might have eating disorders (who knows?). But I still don't understand the obsession. Would I eat a grilled pistachio muffin everyday? I could but I won't. As long as your doctor isn't concerned I feel like weight is an intimate thing that you are in control of and it shouldn't control how you feel while you're pregnant! I've struggled with my weight in the past - so I understand most of the concerns. I think it's something that should be a private matter between you and your doctor.
I just want everyone to try to love their body through this journey. It's doing something so mind blowing and crazy. It's creating a whole tiny human from basically nothing. Is it going to get harder for us to look in the mirror and find something to love? Yeah, probably. But that doesn't mean we should completely ditch the effort of practicing self love. Worry about how much your baby will weigh instead.

Don't we get 2 warnings? I'll save my other one for when I want help determining if I'm dialated yet.

This. Love this so much! So what if none of my pants button anymore? I'm growing a HUMAN. That still blows my mind sometimes! And this tiny human is going to bring so much love and joy and it's going to be awesome. Embrace the journey and all the changes in your body that come with it!
@KaraEpp16...I loved the sentiment of your post and all, but I'll admit, my mind got stuck on "GRILLED PISTACHIO MUFFIN with all the butter." How do I make this heavenly sounding object a part of my life?? I've never even HEARD of a pistachio muffin!!

The diner downstairs in my building makes pistachio muffins and they cut them in half butter them up and put them on the griddle to brown. Plus give you extra butter to slather of grilled muffin. They do it for all the muffins - blueberry, chocolate chip, corn, crumb cake. I can find pistachio muffins at grocery store bakeries. MMM

I haven't had a Big Mac in at least 10 years, I'm dying for one now!!!
I'm thinking grilled corn muffin.
I decided a grilled pistachio muffin would be better. Give me all the butter!
