Low Progesterone Levels?

Has anyone ever had their progesterone level decrease during early pregnancy?  I am 6 weeks pregnant and my levels went from 13 to 7 in just under two weeks.  My hGC levels increased, but not the way the doctor would have liked.  I had an US today and there is a fetus measuring just over 6 weeks and a heartbeat of 150 bmp.  My doctor has put me on a crinone cream for 2 weeks and then a follow-up US.  My doctor is "cautiously-optomistic" but I have miscarried before and feeling like it will happen again.  Has this happened to anyone?

I was put on progesterone suppositories a week before I found out I was pregnant due to my levels being too low ( was seeing a fertility specialist, closely monitored). My dr. had me take it 3x a day for 10 weeks and I'm currently 22 weeks pregnant. Try to stay positive.

I was actually just informed yestered that my progesterone level is 8.5 and the low end of where I'm suppose to be is 11.6, so my doctor put me on oral progesterone. This was also due to me bleeding for almost a month now. I take 200mg a day, and am going for an U/S on the 20th and then another U/S on the 30th with a high risk pregnancy specialist. I am almost 11 weeks with first baby, so am trying to stay positive and do everything the doctor tells me! Congrats and I hope all is well with you and baby!

I'm taking progesterone oil injections. We went thru IVF so I'm closely monitored. My first level was 12 and after 1 shot, it jumped to 37. I have to continue injections for 10 weeks. Almost 4 weeks pregnant. It seems to be helping!

Mine always drop. They put me on progesterone asap!

@karenp43 - are you on crinone?  Have your levels increased since on the progestrone?

Due to previous complications, my RE has me injecting progesterone oil each night. I've done the vaginal capsules and the progesterone creams, but I have found that the injections work the best even if they hurt the most.

Im 5weeks and my hgc level from what my Dr has said is low at 325 having had bloods done two days ago and again today find out if they have gone up tomorrow. But feeling rather freaked out. I have a 12 yo who was born at 26week and I've had 3 miscarriages and an tube which I ended up losing the tube. I'm also 37

Have you confirmed this with your doctor/midwife?  Could be dangerous to self-diagnose and taking herbal remedies without medical consent might do more harm than good.  Please please check with your ob/midwife if you haven't.  If your progestrone levels are low they generally give you suppositories to take during the first trimester.
