Elliot Wesley EDD 9/9 Born: 9/2/15 at 11:44pm 7 lbs 15 oz. 21.5" long
Began having contractions on Tuesday 9/1 that felt like a period. Starting at 8pm contractions were coming 6 min apart. My 10pm they were 3-5 min apart. Hubby n I headed to hospital. At 1am I was officially checked and only at .5 cm! I was observed overnight and at 10am on Wednesday I was at 3cm, contractions still 3-4 min apart. I labored until 4 pm, 20 hours of labor and only at 5cm.
Got the epidural n broke my water. He then had pooped in the uterus, I got a fever, and his heart rate was going very high and dropping both. At 11pm I was still only at 6 and felt the need to push so bad. Dr said it was time to do a csection bc my cervix was also swelling and he was not going to fit through my pelvic exam.
Via unplanned csection after 28 hours, Elliott was born at 11:44pm. He is perfect, doing well, and breastfeeding like a champ!
Samuel James EDD: September 1, 2015 Birthdate: August 26, 2015 39 weeks + 1 day
Tuesday night, the 25th, around 11 my water broke but I wasn't having any contractions. I woke up my husband told him what happened but there wasn't any contractions so he went back to sleep. I called my doctor around 12 when I was still leaking to see if I should go to the hospital now or if I should wait, he told me because my pregnancy has been so smooth and I've passed all the tests and there was no contractions, I could wait 4 or 5 hours before I go in. So I tried to go back to sleep but then all of the sudden I heard/felt a "POP" and more water gushed out as well as the mucus plug. I started to feel slight cramping in my uterus and back and I started timing, I continued to wait to go to the hospital and actually got some house work done, shaved my legs, and ate breakfast. Around 2:30 I told my husband I couldn't take the contractions anymore and that we had to go to the hospital now. At 3am I was checked in my room and they checked to see how dilated I was, I was 4CM and 90% effaced. After having some intense back labor they offered me the IV pain medicine so I took that because I was trying to go as far as I could without the epidural. The IV knocked me out but I woke up with horrible contractions every time I contracted. At 5am and at 6cm I told them I was ready for the epidural, after getting the epidural, I dilated pretty quickly to 8 1/2 - 9 cm. every time they checked to see how dilated I was they realized that the baby actually produced meconium inside of me and would have to immediately suction him as soon as he came out to make sure it didn't get in his lungs. At 7:30 it was time to push and he was out at 8:20am. They suctioned him but wasn't able to get it all out so they let me hold him for five minutes then took him to NICU to be monitored and suctioned some more. They also said his lungs wasn't fully developed. He was in NICU overnight and improved tremendously by the next the day. He was able to come back to the room with us after making sure he could handle breastfeeding which he did like a pro! We stayed that night and the next morning they discovered he had a high level of bilirubin and had to be put under lights for jaundice. He stayed under the lights in our room with us a whole day and through the night. They took another blood test on him and his number actually went up by two but we were told that was normal and was discharged that day. Now we're home with our little man and he is doing absolutely amazing! We are completely inlove with him!!

Waters broke at 8:30pm 9/2. Due to strep b & water breaking I had to go straight to the hospital instead of laboring at home Admitted to hospital at 10:30pm. Was only 1 cm dilated and baby was stationed at -3. Midwife said we'd most likely have to induce but she'd give a little time to see if I'd do it on my own because of my desire to go all natural. Contractions began at 11pm & I hopped into a tub to labor. By 3:30am I was 8 cm dilated To get through transition to 10cm I used laughing gas to take the edge off. It helped me avoid epidural. At 4:30am I was 10cm & ready to push. Pushed for two long & intense hours & caught my baby myself at 6:58am. He is the man of my dreams. No espisiotomy, no tears, no drug's (except for a moment of laughing gas)... Just what I wanted.
What an amazingly humbling & empowering experience. Women's bodies are incredible!
Wishing you all the births of your dreams. Much love ladies!

I had an ultrasound appointment Wednesday morning, after measuring the fluid and looking at the cord along with a spike in my blood pressure, Dr decided that I needed to have my baby today and sent me straight to L&D. i had two rounds or cervidil, pitocin, and my waters broken I finally started to have contractions and dilate. It was a very slow process but once I reach 6cm it was game time! I got an epidural, I could still feel all touches and pressure but I couldn't feel the pain, it was so nice! Finally at 3pm on Friday I reach 7cm and by 5:20pm I was at a 10. Unfortunately the epidural wore off and I could feel all the pressure and contractions. I started to push at about 5:30pm and Emma was here at 5:43pm! She weighs 6lbs 4oz (ultrasound guy got it exactly right!) and is 20 inches long. Dr delayed cord clamping and let her have all her blood then sent the cord and placenta to the lab. NICU team checked her out right away in my room and then gave her back for skin to skin. She did the breast crawl on her own and we were breast feeding 15 minutes later. She still hasn't cried. She's very calm and curious and doing extremely well. I am feeling great, no tearing and minimal swelling, pretty a dream delivery. Thanks everyone for your thoughts, prayers and love over these past few days!
Emily Marie Born 8/21 at 9:29 am EDD 9/8 Weight: 7 lb 9 oz Length 19 in
Went in to the doctor for a blood pressure check. They saw my BP was high and baby has very low fluid. They sent me in to be induced. Once we got there they started blood pressure medication, magnesium sulfate and pitocin drip. After multiple BP meds nothing brought it down. After 12 hours there was no change in my dilation. They diagnosed me with severe pre-eclampsia and we had to deliver quickly. Within 10 minutes of consenting to the c section I was in the OR. DH was in there with me. At 9:29 our beautiful baby girl was born. She needed to go to the NICU due to some breathing problems and was on a cpac for 2 days. She was in the NICU for a total of 5 days. I was only allowed To see her for about 30 mins the first day and a half because I was on magnesium sulfate. The next few days was a struggle between my high BP not going down and Emmy having to be on the cpap then wait for the strep b antibiotics to kick in. The day she was supposed to be able to room in with us she ended up having a high jaundice count and needed to be under the lights for a day and a half. Then we got pushed back another day because my blood pressure was too high after a ridiculous amount of medicine. It was such an emotional roller coaster I'm glad to be off of! Now we're home and doing great! Still I'm process of controlling my BP but Emmy is doing great! She's able to switch back and forth between breast feeding and taking a bottle of breast milk (this gives the ladies a well deserved break). She is just over 2 weeks old now and we're so in love!!!!
Lennon Susan 9/3/2015 EDD 9/10/2015 7lbs 13oz 19.5 inches
Scheduled repeat c-section. Recovering well. Baby has low blood sugar as a result of my GD so we've been breastfeeding and supplementing. So happy she's here!
My baby boy Arya finally made it to this beautiful world. I was due on August 25th and my Dr. decided to induce me on Sep 3, 2015 as I was 41 weeks and 3 days. But guess what, my water broke on September 3rd at 3 am (I guess he doesn't wanted induction). It was a hell of a ride since then and my little guy was born on September 4th at 2:19 am. He's born healthy and weigh 7.9 lb. so, don't lose your hopes, things can change very fast. Good luck to all the moms!
ittle Wyatt was born 9/5 at 12:51am. I was induced 9/4 at 7:00 am I was already 3 cm and 80% effaced and honestly expected a quick delivery. started pitocin at 7:15 and had water broken at 2:30. I got my epidural and waited patiently. At 12 am I was fully dialated and began to push. I was so exhausted I was almost falling asleep between pushes. He is so beautiful. He is struggling a little with breastfeeding but is slowly getting the hang of it. Wyatt was 6lbs 10 oz and 20 inches long
I started 20 min apart contractions on 9/1 around 2 pm, by 5pm they were 8 mins apart so we took the dog to my dad's and finished packing the hospital bag. At 1am we went to the hospital and they were 3 to 5 mins apart but I was only 2cm dilated. They sent me home to labor there and I came back to the hospital around 1pm, contractions 3 mins apart and 5 cm dilated. They admitted me and I got into tub to labor more. After 14 hours of strong labor, throwing up and diarrhea I decided to get the epidural. I was really sad about it because I really wanted to do a water birth. Around 7pm I went from 9cm dilated to 5 so they broke my water and gave me pitocin. I didn't start pushing until 10pm. I delivered at 11:21pm to a healthy baby boy.
Headache due to hp, got to hospital and learned I was 4.5 centimeters dilated. Doc induced me epidural administered (omg that crap hurts!!) and after 12 hrs of labor she broke my water and I immediately became 8 centimeters, then9. 4 pushes And my queen was born. ....NEVER EVER HAVE I FELT LOVE LIKE THIS BEFORE
Nash Robert EDD 9/10 Birth day 9/5 6lbs 9oz 19.75inches long
Contractions started at 3am this morning! Got to the birth center at 8:00 am when they were five minutes apart. I was only dilated 1cm! So Ryan and I went to breakfast and to walk around a farmers market, all while I was contracting every 3minutes! By the time it was time to get checked again I was 4cm and ready to be admitted to the birth enter. Nash was born after 13 hours of natural non medicated labor! It's was the hardest thing I've ever done or ever will do in my entire life. It was so totally worth every second of pain! I feel like a warrior princess and I am so in love with my little man! Good luck to all you mommies.
EDD: Sep 12 Born: Sep 1st at 11:13am Weight: 9lb5oz Length: 21.5in Name: Dylan Rhys
I was scheduled for a CS on Sep 8th. Dylan had other plans. I went into labor early am on Sep 1st. Took a while to get to the hospital since I had to wait for DH to come back home (he had just got to work) and then we sat in morning traffic. They thought he might have turned after I told them he is breech with his legs folded up against his body, hence the CS. They didn't believe me and did a very invasive, painful exam. Ouch! I had to insist they were wrong sothe on call dr showed up to do an ultrasound and just as I thought...still breech. Anyway, long story short, he arrived a few hours later. Everyone in the room, including doctors and nurses commented on how big he is. He is healthy and so sweet. We love this baby with every ounce of everything we have. I am recovering still. Not going to lie - recovery hurts - but worth every second!

I was scheduled to be induced due to high blood pressure at exactly 37 weeks. We went in at 8am. I had a cervical check upon arrival and was already 4cm dilated! The pitocin wasn't started until 10:15am. Contractions started to become painful by about 1pm and I had the epidural placed successfully. I was checked again and was 5cm. The doctor decided to break my water at 2pm. By 4pm the contractions became so intense that the anesthesiologist came back to add bolus medication to help with the pain. I felt the pressure getting lower and lower until I had an extreme urge to push. My doctor came to check me at I was 9.5cm! We waited until I was a 10 and then started to push. My beautiful boy came out in THREE pushes! No one could believe how quickly the whole process was. I tore very badly and had to be stitched up, which is extremely painful. But this little guy is just stealing our hearts! I think he looks just like his daddy. We can't get over his head of hair and the cute little noises he makes! Breastfeeding is a little bit of a challenge, but we're getting there. Good luck to all the September mamas out there! You got this!
Name: Everleigh Ashlyn Edd: September 6th Birthdate: September 3rd
My water broke at 2 a.m on the 3rd while in bed, contractions were pretty steady at about 5-10 minutes apart. Went to the hospital shortly after and contractions moved to about 2-4 minutes apart, by the time I got to the hospital they were on top of eachother. Labor was painful lol, actually I was med free up until 6 cm & then I had to get an epidural for pain. After that I just rested & dilated. I ended up needing pitocin because the epidural slowed my contractions & they weren't strong enough to help me push, almost needed a c-section but thank goodness I was able to push with everything I had & get her out it was more really uncomfortable pressure than anything else, that is until her head/shoulders, but that was just a lot of burning until they pulled her out. Stupid app never lets me post a photo but she's absolutely perfect, 7 lbs 15 ounces & 20 inches long

August momma became sept momma. Juliet Renee team green! EDD 8/27. Born: 9/4 at 222pm. 8p 6 oz 20 1/2 inches
Was scheduled for induction on 9/3 due to being postdates at 41 weeks. Was still about 2 cm and 60% effaced at my office visit on Wednesday at 145 pm. Called hospital at 645 to see if I could come in for scheduled induction at 730. Hospital was crazy busy and put me on a wait list for induction. Was told to call at 10 pm. Was then told to call agin 9/4 at 745 to see if I could get in on 9/4. Went to bed at 1230. Woke up with a mild contraction at 4 am and went to bathroom. Went back to sleep. Woke up from a dead sleep at 440 with severe period like cramping with contractions every 2-3.5 min. Timed for almost 2 hrs. Called hospital told them I was coming. Got a triage room was 5 cm. at this point was contracting every 1.5-2 min do I got my epidural at 9. Dr wanted to break my water at 1015 as I was already 7 cm but there still weren't any labor rooms. Labored in triage a few more hours finally moved to room at 1p and dr broke my water at 115. Pushed for 22 min despite having no feeling in my legs but pain. My epidural didn't work it was too low. Stubborn baby girl was born at 222pm, but I did not need my induction. Breastfeeding well. Good luck to the rest of you sept mommas!
Killian Matthew Born 9-4 @ 6:23pm 8 lbs 7 oz 19.5 inches
Well after waking up from a dead sleep in a puddle at midnight, I concluded that my water had broken! DH and I rushed over to the hospital where they confirmed that my water had broken, I was 3cm and 100% effaced. I was admitted, put on Pitocin and got my epidural around 3:30am. After 16.5 hours of labor it was time to push, 1hr 45 minutes later, Killian Matthew joined the world. DH and I are so happy!
Best wishes to all of you moms still waiting, your LO will be here soon and to all of you that have your LO already, way to go!
First contraction hit at noon while driving. Had just left the park from a short walk. Labored at home (stm) so I know the deal. Went to the hospital around midnight once the contractions got crazy.
Some idiot doctor told me I was dehydrated and not in labor. I unleashed the Dragon on him. He makes me wait an hour and gives me a cervix check.. Tells me Im not dialated. I called BS. I can feel a cramp when my cervix is bumped (you know what i mean) and I didnt feel a damn thing when he checked me. He was basically trying to get rid of me. So I asked for another person to check. She does and i was 7 friggun centimeters.
Anyhoo, after waiting another hour for the dr to arrive on the scene I was brought to the birthing room and given an epidural at 8 centimeters. The contractions were double spiking by then. And once again, same as with my first, it only numbed the left side of my body. Hilarious. Even worse I was only allowed a small dose because my blood pressure is so low. Anesthesiologist later told me that I have a very slight case of scoliosis and that my spine is aligned differently. Wow, I have a deformity.
An hour later Im fully dilated. Nurse told me to call her when I feel the urge to push. About 10 minutes later i felt a burn from hell along with the urge to release the largest poop load you can imagine. It felt like something was "in there". Hubby grabs nurse. Nurse grabs doctor. Hubby grabs left let. Nurse grabs left leg. They all tell PUSH!!! And 10 minutes later a baby popped out. True story.
Oh, Sorry for any typos. Im still here and hubby is watching cnn and Sarah palin's annoying voice is distracting me. I asked to be released early so we shall see. As soon as she popped out i was ready to go. I feel great!! Baby girl is doing great. She's next to me now looking like a little burrito. *Knock on wood*
And finally, i never posted this here but i was at risk of losing my baby girl at 22 weeks. To think she made it to FULL TERM, blows my mind. I am beyond elated. I was one of the mom's praying that my baby "cooked" just a bit longer. Every day was a milestone. Cherish this moment. Good luck! Positive light and energy to you all!!
Remington Paul EDD: 9/7 Born: 9/6 8lb 6oz 20" long
Went in at 7pm Saturday and was 5cm. By 2am I was 7cm and decided to get an epidural. Around 8:30am I felt major pressure and felt something like it came out of me. Well nurse came in and turns out my water bag was hanging out. They were trying to see where baby was and it popped. 3 pushes and he was out. Both big brothers and mom and dad are in love.
Wyatt Reece EDD: September 10 Birthday: September 5, 2015 1:51pm 20 inches long 6 pounds and 9 ounces
I woke up to pee just before 5:00am and felt a pop as I got out of bed, but had no leakage. Went and peed, came back to bed, and after I got settled, I started leaking a lot of fluid. Went in to L&D, the doctor on call wanted to give me pitocin to make sure things would progress, and I got that at 8:15 with my first dose of antibiotics (GBS +). I got an epidural at 9:25 (I LOVED it!), and by 9:45 I was 6cm dilated (came in at 3cm) and 90% effaced. Finished my second dose of antibiotics at 12:25, and was checked. To the surprise of all of us, I was completely dilated and ready to push. Pushed for 1.5 hours and he was here. No pain, just pressure, and only a first degree tear. It was a really great labor experience!
Team green turned pink! I was already 6 cm stretchy to 8 at my check up. Woke up at 1:30 with some cramping. By 3 we decided to call the sitter and head in. Got to the hospital at 4 and delivered a short time later. Super excited to have two little ladies now!
Roman Orion born via c section 9/5/2015 8lbs 13oz 21.25" long
Induced at 39wks 3 days due to gestational diabetes. Went in Friday at 12:45am and not dialated or effaced. Had tablets inserted to vagina to get cervix softened twice, then foley bulb to force to 3cm. After the bulb came out, started contracting 2-3minutes but mild. Started Pitocin and got to 6cm, much more painful contractions and then asked for epidural. Rested while waiting to dialate further and after 24hs total, no more progress. Chose to go to c section and after a quick surgery, Roman was born at 5:38am Saturday morning. He is a big beautiful boy! We are crazy in love!
Initially we had a scheduled c-section set for 9/10, however, at a doctor appointment with ultrasound on the Friday before, she only had an estimated weight of 4lbs 15oz. With her low weight dr decided to change c-section to the following Monday (8/31). This week has been a rough one. When she was lying on me after delivery, she was showing signs of being oxygen so they hurried get away and into NICU and she was on oxygen til 9p.m.that night but then had low blood sugar so they had an IV drip of sucrose until Friday, then she had to pass a fasting challenge which would then end on Saturday and was supposed to be able to come home. Had everything ready but then she decided to stop breathing during 2 feedings Saturday morning which made her heart rate drop, so the visiting physicians saidrshe wanted to monitor her the next 2 feedings and if she didn't do it again, we could take her home at 6p.m. She did it again at the 2pm feeding, not not at the 5p.m. feeding so then the nurse gave us the decision whether or not to bring her home...we decided to keep her there one more night and make sure all was ok over night, because if anything happened, we wouldn't be able to forgive the fact that we could have been able to prevent it. So this morning, we leave the house expecting to be home in a couple hours only to learn she had 3 more episodes over night while she was sleeping. And we learn that she is not able to come home until she has 3 days without any episodes...so now she won't be coming home until atleast Wednesday. I'm so frustrated because my first daughter had a lot of the same issues but she was 2 months premature, whereas, Haedyn was not as early.
Isabelle James Ferguson EDD 9/17/15 BORN 9/6/15 7 lbs 9 oz 20 inches
Water broke at 7:30 am this morning. Labored at home until 10:30, then headed to the hospital. Was admitted at 4 cm dilated.
The contractions got so bad that I started puking. I made it until 7 cm before I caved a got an epidural. I felt really bad, and couldn't stop apologizing to hubby for getting one (we planned to go natural). But he was completely understanding. Got the epidural, and was able to sleep for about two hours. At 9 pm I felt a really strong urge to push, and at 9:46 pm, Isabelle James Fergson was born. She's perfect, and has a head full of hair! There was a reason for all that heartburn after all.
Kylie Jay EDD: sept 2 Born: sept 6 @ 5:14 am 8 lbs 2 oz. 20 in long
started having pelvic pressure around 7 pm Saturday(5th) night. around 9 it started getting worse and was rhythmic like DD was pushing on my cervix. at 10 I realized they were contractions about 7 min apart I could feel them coming and going and I lety midwife know how close they were. she told me to try to sleep and if they got worse to let her know. started bleeding a bit an hour later she told me head to the birthing center.
got there at 2 and was only 2cm dilated was having horrible contracts with a huge urge to push even tho I was barely dilated. this made me open from 2 cm to almost 6 in 30 min! contractions and pushing urges continues idk how long I pushed for it was a while but DD was born at 5:14am! she was over 8 lbs and I had her drug free And didn't tear I'm also a FTM. I did hemorrhage a good bit I had trouble with iron through the pregnancy but little Kylie and I got to go home at 2pm the same day.
My water broke at 3:30am on Sept. 4, but I wasn't entirely sure that it was for real! I called triage, and they told me to come to the hospital to make sure. My husband and I were a little in denial, and we just assumed that it would be a false alarm. We got there around 5:30, and we were assured that we weren't leaving the hospital without our baby boy
I was only 1 cm when I got there, and after waiting 6 hours they gave me pitocin to try and speed things up. We had one little scare with a drop in his heart rate, but thankfully it leveled out once they had me move around a little bit. Within a few hours I was 10cm and ready to push at 4pm. By 4:50, we welcomed our little man to the world!
We feel so lucky to have had a relatively straight-forward labor and delivery. It was such a whirlwind, and it was so much better than we could've hoped for.
Good luck to everyone who is still waiting on their little ones -- hang in there!! You can do this!! Your body will do amazing things, and it will be so worth it!!!
Prodromal labour for the past week and a half or so, with one or two daily bouts of getting painless contractions about five minutes apart for maybe an hour then they would fizzle out. Saturday this happened around 400pm, fizzled around 500 and then picked back up around 630. I called it in around 830 and the on call doctor was very "meh, probably not, but come on in if you want pieae of mind for the night". We went in and hooked me up where I was having contractions about every four minutes. They checked me and I was dialated 4cm and the doctor was still very unconvinced that this was Go Time because "I didn't look like I was in labour". She told me I could go home and see if things progressed or walk around the hospital for an hour and see of I dialated further. Opted for that since I had a good feeling and an hour later I was at 5-6 cm so they admitted me. Laboured with my partner, best friend and my sister by my side with no medication all night and then around 900am I was at like 9.5cm so they broke my water and told me to hold off pushing until my cervix was ready. Did my best but holy crap was my body trying to push! I did a good job staying calm and mindful with contractions but them breaking my water really threw me through a loop and I got very overwhelmed after that and lost my groove. But a couple contractions later they told me to push and four contractions after that baby girl was born! Med free birth wasn't hard for me and my body rocked it like a champ but baby was born, according to my doc, in the worst position. Sunny side up and her shoulders ended up getting stuck, and I ended up with a brutal third degree tear. Healing from the birth is okay, but the stitches in my butt are destroying my calm for sure.
But apart from my "vaginal csection" as one nurse described it to another, I'm fine and so is baby, even the though she came out with some very Klingon-inspired bruising around her forehead and across her shoulders, the poor pumpkin.
Henry Walter Francis 8lbs 6ounces EDD 09/07/2015 Born 09/06/2015
Started having contractions in the morning around 8am. Being a FTM I wanted to be sure this was it before I headed into the hospital. Had a tea and sat on my ball for a bit. Decided to head to the hospital around 11:30am. I felt like this was it but was still worried that I wouldn't be dilated enough to stay. I was checked and was 5-6 cm!! I got to stay! Once I was admitted I was offered the epidural. I thought about it for a bit as I wanted to be able to move around. In the end I decided I did want it (and I loved it). I was doing great in active labor without it but I was expecting a good size baby and thought this was the best for me. Once I had the epidural I was able to relax with husband and best friend (who is visiting from London). About 4:00pm they broke my water at 8cm and 5:15 I started to push. First hour of pushing was fine the second was much more intense. 7:17pm he came out and I was shocked! It was unbelievable and he was super slippery! Husband cut the cord and my friend got to witness it all (he may be scarred for life lol). It was an amazing experience and I will never forget it. No matter how they come out giving birth is the coolest thing!! All the best everyone!!
Sawyer Lane EDD 9-12-15 Born 9-6-15 7lbs 9 oz 19 inches
After a 20 hour birth , an epidural that only worked on the right side I pushed for 20 minutes and Sawyer made his arrival. Much more painful than my first son Oliver's birth 8 years ago but so worth it in the end. Love him to pieces
Water was broken at 11 and contractions immediately followed. Were 2-3 minutes apart within a few hours. Got the epidural (new BFF) at 5 cm and contractions slowed a bit. After a dose of Pitocin, they came on stronger and her head was super low in canal. My epi stopped covering the contractions due to the pain being caused from her head on my bones/nerves. We worked through 6-complete in a few more hours and she arrived after 1.5 hours of pushing to the song 'Girls' by Beyoncé. Too funny - and perfect :-)
I'm a little late to post, but things have been a little crazy. DD#2 was in more of a rush than her big sister and was born 2 weeks early. I woke up at 2 AM feeling like I had to use the bathroom and was mortified to notice that I couldn't hold it. Then I realized that my water had broken (I didn't notice it break with DD#1, so this was a new experience for me.) I didn't think that things would go so quickly, so I decided to try and go back to sleep. Half an hour later I was having contractions. Woke DH up. He started getting dressed, we timed the contractions for a while, and then he called the doctor and my mom (who was going to watch DD#1).
We got to the hospital pretty quickly (DH sort of rushed me - good thing he did!). I had to go with the on-call doctor since it was a weekend, but he was really great. I got to the hospital at 4 cm and just a short while later, when they were asking if I wanted an epidural, I was at 8 cm! Skipped on it again. DD#2 was born after literally 2 pushes at 5:29 AM. Good thing I'm not having any more - the next one would be born in the car!

Started having contractions Saturday afternoon around 2pm and they continued throughout the afternoon with a few gushes. Went to the hospital Sunday at 1am. My water had broken and I was only 2 cm dilated. I wanted to go med free but the pain was terrible. Ended up having an epidural and that only too the edge off. Finally 10cm at noon. Pushed for 3 hours and he was born at 3:10pm. Eating like a champ and very healthy. Labor was much tougher than I had imagined but totally worth it.

After 32 hours of induced labor (started Cervidil on Saturday.) our beautiful baby came into the world. After being told that we could not have an epidural due to low platelets and being told she has merconium in the amniotic fluid, we were all prepared for our natural birth. At about 12am Monday morning (after ordering a test that I didn't know about!) I was told my platelets were at a high enough level to start an epidural as soon as possible. So after mostly a natural labor, I obliged and took the epidural. 5 hours later and I was dilated to a 10 and we were pushing. I pushed for 1 hour before our baby girl made her way into the world. I did have to be cut as I was tearing, so I do have stitches and am trying to recover as well as possible. Baby is breadt feeding, but only On one side. We are working on it and hope to have a breast feeding champ in no time!
I started having contractions 9/6 at 10pm, decided they weren't going anywhere and headed to the hospital around 2:30, got the first piece of not so favorable news that baby was sunny side up and wedged behind my pelvic bone. Labored until 8:30 when I got an epidural, which was a great decision except my blood pressure crashed and there were a few hectic minutes trying to stabilize me. Dr broke my water and started pitocin around 10am as I was stuck at 5cm. Turns out baby could not tolerate the pitocin and also showed evidence of a cord wrap. Around this same time I developed a high fever and was started on antibiotics. I was given a few more hours to make some progress, but by 6pm Dr decided baby and I couldn't take the stress anymore and took me in for a c section. Baby was born at 7:40 pm, SO watched him come out which really impressed me and I got to see my perfect baby. We got a good hour of skin to skin after I came out of the OR and he nursed like a pro, but baby's been in NICU most of the night getting checked out and receiving antibiotics as a precaution since I was so sick. We're so happy he's here, but it was a pretty stressful 21 hours!
I woke up about 4am on Monday (9/7) with really bad back pain. I was able to fall back asleep around 5ish and was awoken twice between 6:45-7:30am with contractions. Contractions were really irregular. We even thought about still attending the BBQ we were going to go to. At about 2:30pm it started getting worse and became about 2-3 minutes apart. We called the doctor and were headed to the hospital. We got admitted and turns out I labored mostly at home after all. I was 7cm dilated and 90% effaced. I continued walking around and used the hot tub and birthing ball. At 8.5cm I was fully effaced and just couldn't handle the intensifying pain anymore. I requested the epidural. I quickly progressed to be fully dilated and started pushing at 10pm and by 10:24pm baby girl was born. She is just perfection.

Due to strep b & water breaking I had to go straight to the hospital instead of laboring at home
Admitted to hospital at 10:30pm.
Was only 1 cm dilated and baby was stationed at -3. Midwife said we'd most likely have to induce but she'd give a little time to see if I'd do it on my own because of my desire to go all natural.
Contractions began at 11pm & I hopped into a tub to labor.
By 3:30am I was 8 cm dilated
To get through transition to 10cm I used laughing gas to take the edge off.
