This is so stupid. And I love how someone called out the "I'll make sure to tell that to my lgbt friends" remark. I was raised by a lesbian that decided one day after 15 years she really wasn't. I have been in a committed best friendship with a gay guy since we were 13...and I apparently was the only one who didn't know he was gay...until he told me, at 20. My youth was surrounded by gay people, I've watched them die of aids and survive into old age. I know "trans" people, both pre and post op. I am a conservative Christian and have views that don't reflect my behavior or judgement and I will tell you this...only those with a chip on their shoulder and those trying to "speak for others" give two craps whether you say "sex" or "gender". The rest of them live their lives as they are without the need to stand up shouting "we're here, we're queer, get used to it". You know what they do? They just live. And they throw "GENDER" reveal parties when their same sex couple friends have babies. This pc bs is not for them. It's not for the people. It's for those that want to shout "YOU MUST ACCEPT ME!!!! THE LAW SAYS SO!!!! DONT OFFEND ME!!!" And I have no time for them or the ignorant people that read an article and met one gay liberal in college that "changed the way they looked at sexuality forever". GAK. Spare me. Know some real people that this topic is relevant to...like...more than 2, and then feel educated enough to speak for the masses.

You don't like science because you feel like they're always just arguing, but you are arguing about your religious beliefs. Religious beliefs have always been a huge source of argument and war since time began - per the Bible as well as other sources.

It sounds like you don't mind arguing, you just don't like that people can present evidence which proves you wrong. Finally, you realize, you're on the internet with people from around the world discussing ultrasounds and medical status of women and babies while saying you don't like science. . . Do you see the inherent contradiction in that?

    All of this.

You don't like science yet you have a picture of medical technology in your profile?! You can't pick and choose what you like about science.
Also believing in the bible doesn't mean you can't also believe in science.

I've done so much head shaking at this thread it's not even funny.

I agree @amanda97531 I know sex and gender are two different things. I just don't have the same viewpoint when it comes to them. I agree with your point that it doesn't change our views! Thank you

I fail to see how using sex/gender in the correct context is somehow a violation of your religious beliefs. In the 22 years I was involved in the Christian church I never got that memo.
You are consider that everyone will judge you, though I can honestly say Christians are the only people I have ever experienced judgement from, and your attitude is very reminiscent of that.
