Just need some wine. Then I will be fine..... Back to my good old self and people can hopefully stop commenting on my body in public places such as the local gas station
@westypet I thought the same thing! Went to see it last night and kept having random contractions and kicks again. Either my little girl is going to be a paleontologist or she hated the loudness of it all.
PS I was thinking this morning how we almost dont need this thread anymore. We have so many less randos asking "AM I IN LABOR?!" . I will grieve this thread when it's gone. It's been one of my favorites
@Westypet@Mommaswizz what did you guys think of Jurassic World? I saw it Friday (night before baby got here ) and I freakin' loved it. DH and I can't stop talking about it and he's determined to go see it again, lol
@notisaidthecat I was pleasantly surprised! I kind of thought it was gonna be cheesy and not live up to the original but i thought they did really good!! Perfect movie for 3d IMAX too. I would definitely see it again.
We saw it in IMAX with moving chairs, like at a theme park, and it still didn't start anything. It was freaking awesome, though! LO kicked like crazy during the entire movie.
Perfect mix of action, new storyline, and cheese. I loved Chris Pratt. I didn't know what to expect, other than fun dinos and special effects, and I LOVED IT!!! Velociraptors rule.
Since DH is home this weekend (thank you senior chief, for not being a jerkface like regular chief) he is going to make me labor cookies and he found a recipe for a labor smoothie. Which is basically pineapple, mango, oj, and yogurt so there isn't anything exciting there, but it sounds good! He may even get over his fear of sexy time with a pregnant lady for the greater cause.

I'm going to have to look up the labor smoothie recipe. It sounds way better labor cookies! We're going to my MIL's for dinner. Maybe she will make it for dessert.

Im generally very thick skinned, but my feelings got hurt this morning at work. Coworker told me that "you're getting close to delivering because your face got really fat over the weekend and that's a sign that labor is near." Seriously? Nothing good can come from making a comment like this, especially to someone who is as uncomfortable as I am! And no kidding labor is near...im 39 weeks 3 days. Guess SHE can predict labor, huh?
@kbbtah that's some screwy commentary!! I wish you had some of us crazy pregnant ladies as back up to bad mouth the manners on these people. People are seriously so dumb.
I probably would have snapped and kicked someone in the nutts and lady balls. I've had some seriously rude comments. Ill probably be depressed about my weight after I deliver. I'll be working out like crazy though. Got to stay fit and active to keep up with my boys
Re: NO ONE can predict when you will start labor
Spent the entire movie like...

ETA: words
1 cup fresh chopped pineapples, with the pineapple core
1 cup chopped mangos
1) cup orange juice
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
Ice
Blend fruit, juice, and yogurt in blender. Then add ice and blend until desired consistency. (Optional - add fresh coconut or bananas)
I guess the core of the pineapple is high in bromelain - which is good for labor. :-??
We'll see, but I like pineapple and mangos, so...
I wish it were that easy lol.
This needs to be bumped
