@justdoit93 Archer is trendy right now, but just how trendy I don't know. My nephew is 14 months and is Archer as well. It's definitely not top 10 annoying trendy though.
In 2014, when I named him that, it was #303 in the U.S. So I wouldn't put that in the "popular" category.
Finding out the sex of baby on Tuesday. We have arrived on Eleanor for a girl, and Gabriel for a boy. We still aren't set on either, but our other options for a girl were Adrie, Elise, or Norah. I like that Eleanor can be Ellie or Nora.
We will find out sex on June 15 (our anniversary!!). We are pretty set on Olivia Faye for girl and Owen (not sure on middle name) for boy. DH wants Jordan (his name) as the middle name.. But Owen and Jordan sound a little too similar to me...
Our little one is going to be a boy (!) and the following names are on our short list: Gavin, Julian, Lucas, Milo, Malcolm, Oliver, and Ryder.
Most likely the middle name will be David (both hubby and my fathers are named David) although there is some pressure from his side of the family for Trauchu to be the middle name (a traditional name in his family going back many generations). I HATED it at first, but over the years it's grown on me a bit. I think I'll still push for David but I think the family tradition thing is kinda cool too.
I love the name Olivia, and would have used it had my cousin not just named their daughter Olivia. My best friend also just named her daughter Brynnley, which was another of my top picks.

We find out July 10th what baby is! I'll be 22 weeks by then.
We are pretty set with our boy name being Connor John (connors is my last name so since it's all girls in my family, our last name will never continue so my hubby and I will continue it by first name)
If it's a girl we don't have any set names yet. I'm kind of liking the names Harper, Sienna, Lily or violet. But nothing we are stuck on.
I need honest advice.....I can handle it!! My husband likes Gwynn(variation of Gwen) for a girl. Is it feminine?! Gwynn being pronounced more like Gwin?
@dogLoverX3 Gwynn is masculine. There are a lot of Gwen names would he consider one of those?
Gwen and Gwynn sound virtually the same to me and both seem feminine to me. Even if it's trafitionally masculine who cares? There are a lot of popular girls names that started out as boys names, if you like the idea of unisex name and like the way it sounds then go for it!
That is not great advice. Head over to the baby name board if you want to know why it is important to use properly spelled, gender appropriate names.
Team blue and top name right now is Walter Anthony. Hubby wants a Jr (Michael Walter) but came to a compromise with Walter as first name (family name on both sides). Other idea was Raymond Michael. What do you think?
I have to wait until the 30th of June to find out but we've decided that if we're having a boy Brayden Robert and for a girl either Hailey or Holly no middle name yet girls are so hard to name! I've never realized how many girls I'm not a fan of until I was trying to name my own. Love all the names guys you've got some very lucky babies
We find our the 30th also!!! If it is a boy Oliver Lloyd Thomas and if it is a girl Lorelei Wynona Jane! It is tradition for 2 middle names in my family.
I'm due on Nov. 21st...Not sure what we are having yet... We find out on July 2nd. But we do have names. For a boy we have Noah Frank and for a girl we have Charlotte Francis.
Hey!! My husband and I just found out we're having a boy! We love the name Citizen Michael (Citi for short) but can't find anything about it. We want a unique name, but fear it may be too unique. Thoughts??!!! Thanks

With all due respect, "Citizen Michael" sounds like the main character of a dramatic teen dystopian novel. I'd avoid, but that's just me.

It makes me think of Animal Farm, I don't care for citizen at all (but Michael is good!) But head over to the name board - they may have more constructive feedback, or be able to suggest alternatives you love!
Literally LOL at Citizen. I can assure you that will happen IRL as well. Come on you are naming someone who has to make a life for themselves, apply for jobs, go to school, introduce themselves.

It really doesn't matter and not sure if you care, but the female version is spelled Frances. Francis is for boys traditionally. Love the name though!!
Re: Gender and names?!?!?!
We already have names
Boy-Joaquin
Girl-Bianca
