Lillian Rebecca was born May 24th at 9:09am weighing 8lbs 15oz and measuring 22 inches long. I started early labor at 7:20 Friday morning and had strong contractions every 5 to 10 minutes for 42 hours, but when it came time to push I was only in labor for 45 minutes. Her face is a carbon copy of her father's but she has my thick dark hair. All the nurses at the hospital commented on what a "cool" baby she was, because she hardly ever fussed and is totally comfortable in any situation. We love her so much and are having so much fun with her!
Lochlan born 5:06 pm may 26, 39+5. Started labor at 4:30 am and was admitted at 10:30, pushed at 4:30 pm, for a ftm I suppose I'm very lucky for a smooth l&d even though it still had me exhausted! But I love our little dude so much and I'm so happy he's finally here!
Jackson Thomas was born on 5/15/15 at 9:02pm after 25 hours of labor at home and 9 hours of labor in the hospital. The one surprise for me was how intense my back pain was. Even though he was positioned correctly I was not expecting my back to feel most if not all of my contractions . Best of luck to all the May mommies still waiting on their arrivals!
Alyce was born on May 24th at 4:01 A.M. She weighed 7 pounds and 11 ounces and was only 19 inches long! I went to the hospital on Saturday morning with broken water and delivered her on Sunday morning! She is such a joy to have and is a champ at nursing! The app won't let me post pics but she's beautiful. I'll add her photo as my profile pic! Good luck to all mommies still waiting! I'm a first time mom and I delivered at 39 weeks and 3 days!
Jaxon David was born May 26th at 11:35 PM after being induced. Weighed 7 lb 14 oz and is 20 inches long. We are headed home today and couldn't be more in love.
Kendall Mae arrived 5/5/15 @ 3:24am. 5lbs 5oz....she was 5 weeks early, my due date was June 9th. She spent 2 weeks in the NICU due to RDS (her lungs needed help) and was on a CPAP & then nasal oxygen for the first couple days along with a feeding tube. She had the feeding tube for 11 days until she was able to coordinate her suck, swallow, breathe. We are now home and it's so amazing having our little girl with us.
Sebastian William arrived 5/27 on his actual due date via c-section after 28 hours of labor (started when my water broke naturally) when I stalled at nearly 10cm, and pitocin made his heart rate drop. He was 9lbs 5oz and 23 inches long, and it was such a relief to just get him out safely!
Calvin Hart was born at 10:57am on 5/27. He weighed in at 6.04lbs and 19 inches long. I was induced on Tuesday evening (39 weeks 2 days) around 10pm with the lowest dose of pitocin due to high blood pressure. I was already 3cm dilated and 70% effaced naturally. I had very mild contractions all night and at 7am I wasn't any more progressed when doc came in to check on me. He broke my water and things picked up very quickly! My contractions become much more consistent and intense, and by about 10:30 I broke down and asked for help with the pain. Nurses called doc and he ordered me an epidural. The epidural showed up around 10:50 and I was having intense contractions where I could feel babies head pushing down and was "gushing" amniotic fluid. I was very vocal about the pain (total screamer over here, apologies to the other ladies on the L&D floor at the same time as me!) and said that something felt different about these contractions. So the nurse said she wanted to check me before they did the epidural. Sure enough, it was time to push! I was so caught off guard ... Really thought I had at least till the afternoon to prepare for that moment. Doc came rushing in and the nurse said she saw miconium when she was checking me. They got my legs up in the stirrups and told me to push! I pushed about 7 times, but the last two I finally got it right by holding my breath. And Cal was here just 4 minutes later. It was all so surreal! I have a mild first degree tear, but we are doing great! Baby is still learning to breastfeed ... He latches and suckles a bit and immediately falls asleep which I'm told is pretty common. Hoping for more progress tonight! Congrats all new moms. What an adventure!
Selah Ayelet was born on May 27th weighing 7 pounds 12 ounces. I was 40 weeks 6 days, and went into labor naturally. I labored for 6 1/2 hours drug free. Painful but totally Worth it! Congrats to other may mommies
Dwayne Clay born 5-29 at 12:01 am weighed 8 lbs 12oz, 20 ins long.. Scheduled for induction @ 9:30 on the 28th at 41 wks. Started having contractions at 4 am, went in at 8:30- pitocin started at 9:30- epidural at 3- water broken at 5- and finally got dilated to a 10 at 10:45 pm..midwife wanted to let his head drop more so started pushing at 11:35 pm and he was here not even 30 mins later! Was very lucky to have an easy labor. Lots of waiting all day but glad it went so calmly.. Couldn't be happier with our little man.
Camryn Janelle was born on May 11, 2015. She weighed 7.7lbs and 20 inches. She was born 6 days passed the due date. I was going to 10am doctor's office to schedule a date for being induced. At prior md appointments, i was 1.5 cm dilated. I felt cramps that morning But I did not think it was labor. The minute the nurse placed fetal monitor on me, I was told I was In labor and I needed to go to hospital now. I was examined and told I was 3-4 cm dilated. After receiving pitocin, epidural, oxygen, capitor, the baby was born via forceps 8 hours later.
Yael was born today 5 days past due date. Long nigglely contractions for days then 3 hours in birthing unit 8lb6. Just packing up ready to take her to meet her 5 brothers and sisters exciting times ahead.
Maya was born may 26th at 8am, 4 days prior to her due date. I woke up at 4:30am with mild contractions. Was not sure if this was real labor but uncomfortable enough that could not sleep. I got up and took a shower, by the time I got out I had to stop and was holding my breath with each contraction. I thought I had plenty of time so planned to take my 8 yrs old to school and head to hospital. By the time we headed out the door I was in agony and told my husband to go straight to hospital and have grandma pick up my daughter there. We barely made it to the hospital, there was no time for epidural, I had her at 8am with 4 pushes. We r doing well and r home now
My sweet chunky boy Patrick Lawrence was born tonight at 8:33pm! Weighing in at 9lbs even!
I went in last night for a schedule induction , I was 40w5d and I was surprised how well my body responded to the cervidil! I started contracting on my own in the morning and got pitocin around 9:00 am. After contractions got more intense, I got an epidural around 2pm, and went from 4cm-10cm in 4 hours! I pushed for an hour and a half, had a second degree tear and some stitches. I love my sweet little man! Mommy and daddy are over the moon❤️❤️❤️
Our Little Love, Aria Wild Torresan, was born on 5/27 at 6:42pm. We were at 41weeks. She was 6lbs11ozs. Despite our hopes for a natural birth, we labored for 18hrs with no progress past 4 1/2 cm. She started to show distress during contractions with plummeting heartrate. Despite several attempts to problem solve, ultimately we realized that the safest way to welcome her was by c-section. My doctor noted that the curve of my extra lumbar vertebrae was actually blocking her decent, which means next baby will also come by c-section. I am struggling with only the physical pain of my decision, and am very very thankful for my wonderful doctor who came in to my labor room frequently to give support and chat warmly throughout the day. During the surgery they spoke with my DH and me through the curtain, explained what they saw and how Aria was doing. DH was able to film our side of the veil and follow the medical team with baby while I was put back together. Did you know that there are 8 layers they have to cut through and then stitch back together?!? My DH has been absolutely wonderful during this whole time, caring for baby girl even in the middle of the night, and flinching as little as he can manage while changing poopy diapers. We've enjoyed our time with just the three of us at the hospital. It has helped us all to bond. We really are feeling blessed!!! Love her more than we ever imagined possible:)
Tristan was born 26may at 4:21pm, we were 39w4d. He was 8 lbs 2 oz and 20 inches long. My water started leaking around 830 the night before, went into the hospital around 10, admitted and told I could either start pitocin right then or wait a few hours, I was registering contractions on the machine but wasn't really feeling them so we opted to just wait it out, woke up the next morning with severe contractions, epidural at 830am; started pushing at 145pm. He was forceps assisted due to his heart rate dropping and being posterior; but every one is doing great now (except that 3rd degree tear I got! )
Eloise Ripley Marie was born on May 28 at 245pm after nearly two full days of labour. We were team green, and I have to say it was the most joyous moment to look down and see that she is a girl! Ever since the birth I've been riding the baby high and loving life we are all doing well at home
Harrison Robert was born May 27th at 4:54 am after 26 hours of labor. He was 8lbs 12oz and 20.75 inches and cuter than I could ever imagine. So over the moon!
Elodie Lauren showed up 12 days late on 5/28/15 weighing in at a whopping 10 lbs 4 oz after a labor involving 5 hours of pushing, a vacuum extraction and thankfully an amazing epidural!!
Zeplin Matthew decided (well with the assistance of my preclampsia) to make his entrance 9 days early (no epidural and an 18 hour horrific labor lol). He weighed 9 lbs 3 oz, 21 1// inches long and came at 4:32am on Sunday May 3rd with a head full of dark hair.
Finley born 5/27 at 4:23pm (due 5/18). 8lbs 4oz, 22 inches! Emergency C section. I went into labor in the middle of the night on Tuesday. Completely didn't expect it since my dr appt that day showed zero dilation and he was still very high in the birth canal. We scheduled my Monday June 1st induction. Then suddenly... at 3:30am I was laboring and almost immediately had contractions that were 5 mins apart! Labored all day, but the cord was around his neck and his heart rate was crashing so we had to have a very scary emergency C that I didn't even realize was about to happen until I was being strapped down and the entire staff was called into the room to assist since my dr was fighting traffic but told them that we had zero minutes to spare and to start without him! They got him out in 4 minutes. I was in complete shock and couldn't stop shaking for about an hour. But Finley is so perfect and beautiful and sweet and I'm enjoying being back at home with my little man.
Miss Ella Kaye was born on 5/15/15 (39weeks) at 11:18pm weighing 9lbs 6oz and 19.5in long! We had a scheduled induction at 5am the following morning but she had other plans:) contractions started at 6:30pm and we arrived at the hospital around 7:30 with contractions coming steady at 2minutes apart.. Everything went so fast this time, 4-5 hours of labor and 4 good pushes our sweet baby was here!! So blessed and truly thankful with how smooth everything went this time!! We are so in love and enjoying every minute with our two sweet little ladies!
Jackson Paul arrived 5/28 at 7:29 pm. I was 39 weeks 4 days. He weighed in at 8 lbs 13 oz and 21 inches long. The day before I had my prenatal apt and was only measuring at 1 cm so had no idea that labor was on the way when the next day I woke up with contractions at 3:30 am...by the time I got to the hospital at around 8:30am they measured me to be about 5-6 cm dilated. Debated on when to get the epidural but ended up getting it at 8 cm at noon. Then stalled for hours because baby's head wasn't engaged. Dr started pitocin and When I tried to do a different position to get baby to progress my water broke! A few pushes and he was out! (More like shot out like a cannon lol so glad I got it all on video!!! )
So happy to finally have him here in my arms! Looks so much like daddy!
Clémentine Ella Noelte was born May 31st at 1:50 am. She was originally due May 20th and after getting scheduled for an induction Saturday my little lemon decided to come on her own terms Friday night. Contractions started at 3:30 am and by 10am they were a minute a part and terribly painful. Then at 5:30 pm they broke my water which made the contractions unbearable. I had originally been against having an epidural but since I was only 3 cm dilated I couldn't bear the thought of lasting in such pain and feared having a csection. I started to push at 12:30 Saturday morning and she arrived at 1:50. Pushing was surprising easy and almost enjoyable(unlike the movies). I unfortunately tore so I'm extremely sore now but it doesn't matter. I am sooooo in love with her. She's such a good baby so far. Good luck remaining girls:)

Not officially a May baby because he was a week late, but Sloan is finally here! He was born at home June 2nd @ 12:09am. He was 8lbs15ozs/22inches. Labor was 9 hours total and I pushed him out in 15 minutes because our midwife found that he was in danger because of meconium, his cord being wrapped around his neck and his heart rate dropping. In spite of all the scary factors at the end of labor, he is perfectly healthy and happy.
Water started breaking Sunday the 31st in the afternoon. We went to the hospital that evening as the gushes started to be more and more. But I was having no contractions. So they sent us home, told us to call back in the morning at 630. So we went to a friends house that was closer to the hospital than home and at 630am I called and they told me to come in for 730 and I was going to be induced. Got in the car and headed out and bam contractions 5 minutes apart whole drive. Wasn't too bad. They were bearable. Once at the hospital they quickly went from 5 minutes to 2 minutes. And I was slowly dilating more. With every contraction I would be 5 to 6 cm. Once the contraction stopped I'd be 4. I ended up being sick to my stomach from the pain of the contractions. Ended up getting the epidural, throwing up and then having a contraction and throwing up again I was getting too exhausted. By 130 I was fully dilated, but baby's heart rate kept dipping so with the help of the vacuum and pushing with all I could Liam Richard Jack was born at 212 pm June 1st.not technically a may baby but finally he's here and couldn't be happier. Made it home today and so far so good!
Nolan James arrived May 23 at 4:18 am. I was 38+6 weeks. He was 6 lbs 9 ounces and 18 inches long. I just love him and his adorable little face. Congrats to all the mamas and their families!
Marcus Xavier was born May 19 at 11:37AM. He arrived at 38+3 weeks, 8lbs 8oz, 20.5" long. I'm a FTM and felt pretty traumatized over the birthing process, which included 2 trips to the hospital, 34 hours of labor (with an epidural after the first 20 hours), an epistomoty followed by a tear, and issues with the nerves in our LO's shoulder and then bilirubin levels during recovery.
We're so happy to finally be home, and are slowly adjusting to our new reality. I'm finding the sudden transition from going to work every day to simply being at home quite monumental. Also, I've been surprised at how all-consuming taking care of our baby is. I kept saying that I did not know what to expect, but the whole process has been so much harder then anticipated.
Regardless, I continue to stare at my LO in awe. I cannot believe we made him! The human body is incredible.

Charlotte Annabelle was born June 1 at 2:56pm. After 36 hours of contractions with no progress - we ended up having a repeat cesarean. She was 7lbs 5 oz, 19.75 inches with a full head of hair she's been eating beautifully.
Emery Joy was born at 2:27 pm June 4th after being in labor a total of 11 hours with 1 hour of pushing (thank you to my mom's genes). 7 lbs 8 ounces, 19.5" long. We had an induction scheduled at 8 am but she calls the shots around here contractions were SCARY. thank goodness for the epidural.
Mila Anne born May 22nd at 4:37pm weighing 7lb8oz and 51cm. I was induced at 41 weeks 2 days due to being overdue, with Bub finally arriving at 41 weeks 4 days. It took 50 hours and 2 lots of prostulin gel to reach 4cm when finally they broke my waters, hooked me up to the synth drip, gave me 2 epidurals (the first only worked on one side of my body) and 4 hours later I was ready to push. An hour later Bub's heart rate started to rise so had to have an episiotomy, 1 giant push later and she was here. Won't be doing that again anytime soon! Mila is amazing though, happy and healthy
Finley Gloria was born on May 18th via c-section after 24-hours of labor. She weighed at 8lbs 0oz and measured 20.5 inches long. Finley was also born with a full head of lovely auburn/brown hair. She is our first born, and we feel so lucky to have her.
Our little love Esme Ryelynn came resistantly into the world on May 29th @ 8:32pm via an emergency c-section after a 3 day induction and 12 hours of active labour, I was pushing but she was in distress with each decent... Turns out she was wrapped in her cord twice and was sunny side up!! Thankfully she isn't stubborn, but just smart and she knew she couldn't safely make it out vaginally. 7lbs5ounces. 19 inches
