So my hubby's middle name is sweed and we want to use it in baby's name. What do you all think of using sweed as a first name for a boy. I'm not totally convinced that sweed would work for a girl but He likes it for both

Sweed sounds like you are describing your heritage. It's not a good first name for either sex.
