I'm a full time critical care RN working day shift. I'm pursuing my Masters in Nursing (FNP) And I'm due in the middle of my OB/PEDI rotations as well! I plan on taking my full leave of 12 weeks and returning either part time or full time... I haven't made that decision yet, my husband is also going back for his Masters in Nursing in the spring semester so there is a lot to discuss... This will be our first and are excited!! I can't even begin to imagine how busy the fall semester will be!
I am an Oncology RN who also works part time. I started grad school last fall, paused it this semester due to a family illness and will start again this summer with another pause for the semester in the Fall cause of the baby:) I have one almost 3 year old little girl too!
I am a graphic designer. I work part time for a boutique doing their design work. I will still be able to work a little after the baby is born. I am also back in school to get my Bachelor's degree. I will be done with school in November. This is our first so we will play the whole school situation out by ear.
Hi y'all! I'm a stay-at-home mom to my 2-year-old DS. I worked in public relations/social media prior to his birth. I LOVE my job and feel like my worst day as a SAHM is always better than my best day at my previous job.
Hi! I'm a leasing agent at a real estate agency. I was only hired at this company a month before I found out I was pregnant so I don't know how that's going to work out. I'm actually really worried about it.
I am a Registered Nurse, and after the baby is born I would LOVE to find an opportunity to work from home! The doctor I work for is retiring in May so if everything goes well I will be jobless and job searching at 18 weeks pregnant!
anorthro I'm a graduate student, too! Finishing my thesis this semester, already employed (thank god)! I work as an Outreach Specialist for my University Extension.
Im a nursing student and i also tutor at my college and im a bartender. Looking for a new job as we speak...getting out at 6am is not gonna cut it anymore. Im tired just saying it.
I am a full time SAHM with my 15 month old. Next week I will be taking on my first full time daycare baby! I will see how juggling 2 kids while being pregnant goes and then am possibly looking at adding a 3rd at the beginning of summer. It's going to be a really crazy year. currently no one is a bread winner in our house since DH is a full time doctorate student and I stay home (since we can't afford daycare) and we currently live off of student loans (not my favorite place to be). So I am looking forward to making a little bit of income. also I am looking at starting to do some photography on the side, but we will see if that's possible to squeeze in with everything else.
I am a photographer who specializes in newborns and weddings. I have decided to not book any weddings this summer, because I don't thinkI can handle 8+ hourson my feet. After the baby is born , I will be very selective in the amount of events I book .
I'm a school psychologist. I plan to take 8-12 weeks off. I just started at a new school so I don't want to take too much time off. I took 5 months off with my son so this will be much different!
Hello everyone! I'm a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner Student. I'll be taking as much time as I possibly can before Short Term and PTO runs out and I have to go back to work, probably 8 weeks. After this semester, I'll be taking the next two off... I already feel like I have pregnancy brain and I can barely concentrate!
I'm a graphic designer. I work for a large organization and am lucky enough to get around 5 months of maternity leave. However, I've been researching starting a business while on maternity leave. Maybe an etsy shop. First for extra income, then to maybe, one day, quit my full time job so I can stay with the baby.
I'm a medical receptionist for a busy multi-specialy practice. I've taken a step back from all the busy work so that i dont over whelm myself and stress myself out. My boss knows i'm pregannat and is extremely excited for me. I know i'll have to go back to work after i have the baby due to student loans and bills. Hopefully I'll be able to find something a little closer to where i'm currently at.
I am a full time student for Early Childhood Education. I think I am going to take fall and winter off or just do online classes. But I will be going back to school.
I'm a RN, I was starting to specialise in Renal, however my husband and I was lead to Kenya and we have now been here for 16 months. We are volunteering in a Children's Home, we have created, and are rising up a social care department within the home. We created a repatriation process and repatriated 35 children last year back into families and are planning on several more repatriations this year. We now run widows projects in several rural areas too and also are highlighting truly vulnerable and abandoned children to the charity, collating plans for them and intervening if necessary. We are not sure presently whether to have the baby here in Kenya or whether we will take a short break and go back to the UK to deliver. Weighing our options at present. Decisions decisions....
I'm actually a nurse at a fertility clinic. We do IVF, IUI and help same sex couples, both male and and female, with their family building. I give and device all day to pregnant patients and those trying to conceive, but much different on this side of it! Great perk is I have access to ultrasound machines all the time! If anyone has any questions, I'll be happy to try and help.
