Who has eaten at a Ruth's Chris? It's better than Gordon Ramsay Steak. Yes, I've eaten there, too.
Ruth's Chris is good, Daniel's Broiler or Jak's Grill are even better! I've never tried Gordon Ramsay Steak though. Not that I've ever turned away a steak
We have a place nearby called Angus Barn. It's like the fucking holy grail of steak places. They do fancy shit to their beef, when we go like once a year I always get a ribeye and it's still mooing. =P~
You really have to go to the right place. Most sushi places aren't great. I wasn't a huge fan until I went to a really good sushi place in town (Uchiko for those of you in Austin). It's super expensive but the sushi was to die for. If you watch the documentary "Jiro Dreams of Sushi" he's totally right, the secret is in the rice. I've never tasted such tasty rice.
Steak... I'll admit I am the most boring person, I have never tried sushi because I hate fish. And I only tried steak for the first time last year as I've always hated red meat. I now love it though so it's all good
I'm neither vote #2... Sushi is gross! And I'll force down steak if it's my only option but I would never like order it on a menu or request it. But my dad and H are huge steak eaters so sometimes it's the only option. Can I vote for crab legs or lobster? ;;)
How fitting that I would come home from eating STEAK to see this pole. I like sushi but I love steak. And I loved it so much when I was pregnant. Most expensive craving ever. And I like it medium.

I love steak too but medium rare. I thought you had to eat it well done while pregnant...it was so gross to me well done while pregnant. So glad that restriction is over.

Uchiko is the shit! I went a few years ago before he did top chef. Hope he continues success--food was awesome. I went to a Ruth's Chris last year in Puerto Rico. Meal was fantastic. But my favorite part of the night was when the hostess brought us to our table and (because it was my birthday) said, "here's your table" with a big hand sweeping motion--price is right style--while scattering confetti all over the table. It was hilarious.

I love Angus Barn! Grew up like 20 mins away from this place. It was the thing to do for special occasions. Ruth's Chris is also good.
I have never been to a steak place. Not even Outback Steakhouse. The only steak I get, DH grills, and we do this very rarely.
I prefer kimbap over sushi. It's still rice and wrapped in seaweed, but you can put anything in it from bulgogi to scrambled egg to cheddar, but the best part is the pickled radish that goes in it. Mmm!
I picked steak because I am more often in the mood for that. Mid rare.

You're doing it all wrong.
So fucking rare. Rarest of all the rare. Blue.
Maybe I'm not going to the right places?
We are having steak tomorrow.
It's usually what I order when we go out because DH doesn't like steak so I hardly make it at home.
Sushi, sorry I just can't get onboard.
Steak medium rare.

I also only like cooked or veg sushi but our local Sushi place has some amazing cooked and veggie sushi that I love.
