Cleaned up my two bathroom cupboard shelves during Feli's nap yesterday. Before LO, the distribution of stuff would have been 80% "things I like to buy" -> perfume, shower gel, shampoo, makeup 10% "first aid things that are fun regardless" -> band-aids, etc 10% "things I have to buy" -> razors, tampons, etc
Now? So. Much. Toddler sunscreen. When did I buy all of these bottles, sprays, and lotions? Also, acetaminophen and ibuprofen toddler suppositories. Do they multiply in the dark? WTF.
A list of things that irk me (it's one of those days...):
1. When I send pictures of DS to the ILs and they never. ever. respond. I'm giving up, DH can be in charge of that department.
2. People who post something on FB then tag 80+ people so they will see it. Seriously? You're on my news feed. I will eventually see it, and if you want me to see something so bad send me a message. Stop AWing. Maybe I'm particularly annoyed because it was a call out for all of us to share the video, too. Nope, I don't want to share it.
3. When I call IT because I need a plug in to see an attachment from a consultant. I don't have admin rights to do the install, so I have to call them and tell them "I need to install xyz". They log into my computer, spend about 10 min clicking around on everything BUT the plug in I need, then finally settle on just installing the plug in.
#-o
4. People who can't park worth a damn. I'm side eyeing you, co-worker, who parked across two spots then ran inside like you were fleeing a crime scene. Don't worry, I'll get a photo of your car to submit for the company wide "email of shame" calling out shitty parking jobs.

The brown striped blanket is in the wash. The blue elephant blanket is apparently on fire because it's been refused and thrown to the floor with angry toddler tears.
Does anyone else's LO suck on one end of their blanket and sniff/tickle their nose with the other end? It results in an exotic aroma that Haddock thinks is amazing, gag.
No, but BF apparently had one of those as a toddler. Hope this predilection is not hereditary.
@amparo1981 I think they do, we also have thousands of ibuprofen suppositories that we won't use until the next baby I guess...
@spartanmama Oh yes, now I remember about the new job and moving it sounds hectic, have you thought about airbnb? of course it depends how long you need it, it's cheaper and nicer than hotels as you have your own kitchen and laundry... but then you have to be sure they don't have fancy stuff that can break, when we choose airbnb we check that they have only IKEA stuff sio we can replace it if LO goes nuts :P

Link7913: I had to laugh at your comment regarding toddler belly and short arms. So much this over here. I have some adorable shift dresses for Feli that look like she's trying to shoplift something when she wears them.
Silas has started lifting up my bra flaps for me when he's finishes nursing.
That's a sign it's time to wean right?

Good morning! It's a yucky, rainy Monday morning. I would have loved to stay in bed. I wish I could WFH, but it will never be an option for me unfortunately.
I'm trying to get a bunch of stuff together for my boss before he gets here at 10. I'll be back!
I just looked in the mirror for the first time since getting to work (I pretty much get dressed in the dark at home). I am wearing black pants, black cardigan, gray shirt, and a black scarf. All of my black items are a different shade of black. Oops.
@hollandmama@LauraC122 I work from home two days a week and I love it. It's the perk that I will miss most when I get a new job.
I find that it takes me less time to get more work done because I don't have the interruptions. Plus, I'm less stressed about household chores. I can take a five minute break from writing to throw a load of laundry in the wash.
Another day, another dollar here at work. I just realized that my 9 yr work anniversary was last week. I feel like a jilted wife whose husband forgot their anniversary. They could've at least bought me donuts. Or coffee. Or something. :-S
@Cfreymc@haddocky you didn't really miss anything- I never posted like a bfp or announcement on here. I wasn't active when I found out and didn't want to come back and lead with that! But yeah June 30, I'm 16 weeks tomorrow. The twins will *hopefully* turn two right before next baby is born!

Eff you, Spamericans. You are clearly not enough suck to suck enough.
In the heavily-caffeinated light of day I have no idea what I was even trying to type here :-/ ~O)

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
I have been so busy with house stuff - I tried but failed to keep up with spam the last few days. We are finally all moved in. Our apartment furniture looks hilarious in an actual house. I looks like furniture that is 3/4 the size it's supposed to be.
The previous owners really liked purple and green (together, even) so we have had some flooring replaced and I'm in the process of painting. So much to dooooo.
@JTA2426 I must have missed something....Congrats!!!! <:-P
Hugs and coffee to the sickies
I should not have started spam today. I tried to love tit everything, but I probably won't be able to keep up with the rest. MIL is hanging out with L today so now that I'm caught up on my J13 I'm back to work!

Purple is my favorite color and absolutely does go with green @Silv3rlining ! One of the offending areas is a (finished) basement wall with giant lightning bolt shapes in bright purple and greenish carpet...
We have an appt with our new allergist today and I'm really excited because she is one of the doctors involved in peanut desensitization work, and maybe if we're here long enough and the gherkin is eligible, she could be (mostly) cured!!
I really really want someone else to have twins. Any takers?
@KikiCohen@Silv3rlining I guess I don't read those threads. I pick and choose on there, and if the title isn't interesting I don't bother. They're a little over the top with all the rules, for sure.

@econmama Good luck!
@lizabethann06 hi!! It took me 15 mins to write this. Every 30 seconds I had to stop and say, "No! Get down! We don't climb on _____!" Lol!!
