The other day I was thinking how did I pee once I had the epidural

I guess you must just go and don't realize

It's funny how you block the birth out to some point lol

  • I will be 40 when my baby arrives!
  • Lol...39 and proudly pregnant with #4.♡
  • LOL....I am an elderly AMA pregnant momma too!!  I am 35.

I don't feel much older then I did when I had my 1st two at 21 and 24.   Although I do feel smarter since then :)
  • I'm 30. I had my son at 27.
    Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

  • I am 35 - arghhhhh does that mean old? Lol
  • I'm 39 and pregnant with my first. Didn't plan it that way but it took us six years and a lot of help to conceive. Glad there are others in the same boat!
  • I'll be 28 tomorrow, and this is my first. It took us a couple years to successfully conceive. I'm surrounded by people years younger than me who've already got kids so it's always made me feel awkward.
  • Im 33 and this is my third..was 24 when I fell pregnant with first but 25 by the time bubs came...Used to get looks all the time as I dod look alot younger! This time round definetly more tired! But this is the last so not to worried...didnt really think in this day an age early 30s is old to have kids?

  • I'm 33 expecting my 4th! I don't feel old - rather I felt young now when I look back at starting at 22!
  • I will be 40 in couple weeks and I am 15w2d today...when I go to the doctor they make me feel elderly. ..it just kills my mother that I feel old LOL I am her baby
  • I feel bad for young moms. I was 20 with my first and it was SO HARD. 10 years later I'm pregnant with my second and if God blesses us we hope to have two more. I told someone the other day, "I'm so excited this time around!...instead of scared to death! I have a good job, a house, a wonderful husband, I can't wait to do it better this time around!!" Age is experience and there is no other way to cut it, anyone on this is lucky, I LOVE being pregnant and in my 30s.
  • Not trying to be a mean mommy but to be this post. Old mommy should mean at least over 30 but prefer over 35 for this discussion

Well I hate to burst your bubble, but it is not up to you to determine who feels old and who doesn't. As many others have stated on this thread, they didn't necessarily consider themselves "old" until they started looking at some of the young mommy threads. I would put myself in that same category - I will be 32 when DD is born, but as a 2nd time mom, I find it easier to relate to others who are in that same boat. When I put myself next to other moms who are in their young 20's, I feel "old". There is the old saying, "age is just a number" for a reason. I think this board is more about mom's who feel that they are at similar points in their lives career wise, family wise, etc. If you want a post that is just women 35+, start one that is "35+ mommy's" but otherwise keep in mind that on a public internet forum, anyone can post where they see fit.
  • Wow. I so needed this post. I'm 37 will be 38 when our little bundle arrives. I've been so stressed and extremely worried about being pregnant this late in life with #5. Last pregnancy was at 29, making this pregnancy feel like my first. I'm so excited, but scared at the same time. Thank you all for your post, I feel so much better tonight!!!!
