I think back to how old I was with my first (I was 21) and I realize it's a miracle we all survived! Glad to be doing this at a relaxed 36 this time around. More sure of myself, my abilities.
I will be 33 with #3! Maybe it's the first trimester talking, but I feel way older and wiped out than I did with my other two. And they are semi self-sufficient, it's not like I am chasing toddlers around or anything!
I'm 37 and this will be our first. I am the first of my group of girlfriends and we amongst the last of my husband's friends who are all at least 5-7 years younger than me.
I'm 30 and a FTM as well. Where I live (rural midwest) I am definitely considered old for this being my first child. Everyone else in MH and my group of friends has at least 1 child.
I'll be 1 month short of 39 by delivery time FTM. Don't feel old, but I'm happy that my insurance covers a bunch of stuff because I'm "old"... There are advantages to be geriatric. Ha ha.
I am 36 and will still be 36 at birth, this is my first baby and first pregnancy, I certainly feel old, but I live in the northeast and this is the normal age around these parts for having babies.
I had my first when I was 33. I just turned 38 the other day and am about 14 weeks. Even though several of my friends don't have kids yet, I still feel old. I'm a high school teacher, and lots of my students who just graduated already have kids! In my town, it is the norm to have a lot of kids and to start very young.
I love this thread! I'm 26 and literally thought I'd have my first at 30+. I was definitely fine with that. In my family I'm the OLDEST to start having kids...crazy right?! I'm coming to terms with the fact that I'm not 19, 23, etc and I will be ok. SO is 32 and has two. This may be it for us. We shall see! Good luck to you all!
Welp, didn't read all of the posts (there are sooo many) but I think I'm the oldest in the group uugh! I'm 42 and will be 43 next month and when I deliver my first child. You guys really know how to make a gal feel old! LOL but I'm happy to be having this experience at this time in my life. BTB the hubbie is 36. And I feel and thankfully look like I'm 30!
I'm 40. I think I might snag the award for oldest.
ETA - I still FEEL like I'm in my 20s, FWIW. I clicked on that thread because I was like, wait! I'm young! And then I was like, oh wait. Nope.
nope gotcha, I will be 42 on edd. :P

I had my first at 28 and will be 31 when this one arrives. I didnt feel old at all until I was talking to my mom about how this pregnancy has been harder and she said "well you are 3 years older and in your 30s now. That makes a big difference" Thanks mom!
I'm pregnant with our sixth and will be 30 in a couple of weeks. We wanted to start our family young so we obviously did. My eldest was born when I was 20. But I'm in no way "old" at 30. I'm excited for my 30's!!!
This will be our last so I'm just soaking it all in.
Will be 38 when this baby boy is due, my kids are 17, 16, and 11 , starting all over , was a huge surprise, was told couldn't have any more kids , guess they where wrong.
I will be 34 when this little is born. Had my first at 29 and my second at 31. Not sure if this will be my last. We seem to have high maintenance kids, so in not sure if I can handle 4 of them. If #3 is easier, we may try for another.

Many women are leaving having children til there 40's which I think is fine as long as you are fit and healthy.
