Wonton-miso soup & rotisserie chicken...

I feel bad that my IL are driving the three hours back to get a piece of luggage they left here. I mean, I don't exactly look forward to them being here again. The roads are gross & they have to work tomorrow. The item is FIL's briefcase for his work-- so he can't just leave it.

So we have dinner for them (hot & ready) when they get in. I'm annoyed by them, but I'm not heartless. I'm going to offer them to stay the night because that's a lot of time in the car.

Yep not deep dish though. We aren't on delivery zone here but were in our first place in the Gold Coast so it has been a while. I'm not actually a huge pizza lover. I only got it today because we had a coupon.

Gino's East deep dish is.the.best. Super deep dish. Super thick. Super greasy. Super awesome.

DH made chocolate pudding. =P~ So damn good.

@Stacey099‌ I haven't tried Gino's East yet but it is on my todo list when we are there this summer. I also love Italian beef if anyone has suggestions!
Also, thinking of 2nd birthday at Chuck E Cheese if some Madison bumpies would like to roll by. My bank account is slightly afraid of this idea.

I'm glad that there is that, at least, @lizabethann06. What a horrible horrible situation. If he was going to kill himself, why couldn't he let her live? I'm sorry if it's out of line to say something like that, but it's so awful and makes no sense.

Remember a few Weeks or last week or something when I was complaining about how dh dresses like a 15 year old skater kid? He went out on Boxing Day and of his own volition purchased several collared button up shirts, v-neck sweaters and scarves! I just about fucking died! I stayed home with Lily and he went out and bought a new wardrobe. I hadn't even said anything about it, he did it all on his own and hot damn he looks so sexy in his new clothes! He's been wearing them all week on his days off. It's a Christmas miracle. He even loves them too.... I feel like I'm living in a parallel universe....

She had filed for divorce last week. There had been signs of abuse in the past however more recently his behavior was growing more unpredictable and explosive so she wanted out. She was also getting a restraining order against him. When I last spoke to her on Friday, she sounded optimistic. She was killed on Saturday.

@EagleWife Yes, they are with her parents who they are very close to. Her sister, their aunt, is also right there.

@lizabethann06‌ thanks for answering. I was asking from the perspective of these types of acts usually have some scary abuse before they escalate. Not from assigning any, any blame on your friend. I'm sure you knew that, but wanted to clarify.
