Wow this is such a first for me. I can't believe I don't see a spam thread yet. I hope everyone had a great, fun and safe NYE. We were in bed by 10pm and had a couple wake ups with LO#2. And everyone was awake at 5:30am. Here's wishing all of you great moms the very best in 2015!

Good morning. I told DH I wanted to get home and to bed early because LO was going to be up early.... Yep, I'm right. Been up for at least half an hour. NYE is for the birds!

I hope you all had good nights and all the sick babies and mammas are feeling better.

Happy New Year!! G sttn even with his super congestion. Now he has woken up with a terrible scratchy cough. :-( I have the cough as well. I'm trying to get him to drink water but he only drank a small amount.

Happy New Year! I was an idiot and stayed up to watch the ball drop. I feel hungover and I didn't even drink last night. Dh is still sleeping...

It took me from 12:30-2 to get DD back to sleep. I would rock her and as soon as she went back in the crib, she was up again. I hope she starts sleeping better again. I am tired!

ILs called at 10:30 to wish us a happy new year. Woke the kid up. I didn't get him fully settled till midnight. [-( I did convince my to sleep with Alex's humidifier in our room last night. Now he wants to buy another one tomorrow. Go figure.

We stayed up past midnight. 

L pooped himself awake at 4 and wouldn't go back to sleep. 

I brought him downstairs and put on Cars and opened his toy box and tried to go back to sleep on the couch while he played. He brought me books and banged me on the head with them until I sat up. 

Now he's having a waffle and I am finishing our midnight champagne

Went to sleep at 10:30 Liam woke up but just wanted to come to our bed and was sleeping again quickly. 5:35 now everyone is still asleep, I am going to try to go back to sleep.Happy New Year <:-P

Got in a fight with DH at midnight so that was fun.... Ugh! Riley had a fit about not nursing last night. My baby needs to CTFD about not nursing. I seriously cursed breastfeeding last night. Next kiddo gets a bottle in the night and will be getting formula earlier on as well.

But, we did get 7 hours straight sleep so that's amazing. Wish DH and I could work together to night wean.

Also, he definitely said "You've never had Riley scream at you for hours. You haven't had your patience tested."

Hahahahahahaha, for reals?

I know. He was just pissed so he was only thinking of his side. I don't think he really "gets it" about the newborn phase.

To be fair, he is making us all eggs this morning. Maybe he realizes what he said was dumb!

Some very relaxing meditation this morning while stretching by the heater & listening to the rain. Both kids are passed out.

I'm not sure if the IL left already-- but it's quiet. I don't know if they are staying for the afternoon. I really hope not...I'm hungry but I don't want hear how everything will make me fat from MIL. I might say fuck it & go eat my oatmeal anyway. Just think happy thoughts while the woman yammers.

The physical therapist I've been working on sent me to a chiropractor for my phantom/new RLP. I was scared at first but a couple good adjustments & I feel like a new woman!!! :-D

I fully plan on having champagne today/tonight. I wanted some last night but I didn't want to deal with the third degree about how one glass means I'm a drunkard who is unfit to be a mother blah blah blah

Next year I want to spend NYE with my friends. If the IL insist on crashing then I might go out solo? Like, ringing in the new year with hope & shit..

A bunch of us stayed up all night watching crap TV, watched the sun rise from our hall balcony, then drove to the truck stop diner for breakfast and came home and slept til dinner. Happy new year mommas!  I made it up until 11:30 last night without even trying...my plan was to be in bed by 10:00 but stupid pregsomnia kept me awake.  I can't believe that this will be the year that I have two kids...it makes me tired to just think about.

We are taking down Christmas decorations and going to the National Aquarium this afternoon...I know it's going to be insane and I might be crazy for attempting it but I've been wanting to go for a while now and I'm hoping that my giant belly earns me some sympathy space.

Morning! Happy New Year!
I'm still laying in bed by ty. He's still asleep. Crazy boy made it till midnight! I was pretty wastey pants last night. We drank and played games for hours while my mom and aunt played with the kids. Not sure what's on the agenda for today.

Went on a walk all bundled up. She couldn't get comfortable in her wagon so Papa carried her home. She is still sleeping on him on the front porch!

The cousins have arrived including the new one we hadn't met yet who was born in July. He is super smily. It's ridiculous but -we weren't with this side of the family last year and so I am kind of sad that Alden had to share the new baby spotlight at this Christmas. But he will enjoy a playmate his age in the future.

Good morning everyone! We made it until midnight, but barely...I was in bed at 1210.

Lo seems to have turned a corner with her bronchitis and slept all night which was great. She got up at 730, but then snuggled and went back to sleep until almost 9!

Taking down the tree and all decorations today so I can get ready to go back to work next week. We go to my parents on New Year's Day for Chinese food and a visit with good friends from out of town....

You ladies are making me think I need to look into this face brush.....I'm one of those who does nothing for my skin, never have, never have needed to, however now as I'm getting older I feel like I should be doing something with it!!

DH just made plans to go to his parents who live almost an hour away. I wanted to stay home and have a relaxing day playing with the kids. I am still so exhausted from all the work of hosting Christmas. DS and DD both have colds. DD is napping so once she wakes, she and DS need lunch before we can go. It is so cold out today too so I just want to stay home.

Just put LO down. Need to clean up but I'm feeling like death. It was a dry NYE at the chiboo9 household last night. We had a friend over that's about 60+ days sober and wanted to help him stay on track on a night like last night. He was much appreciative of our invite and very relieved to have the excuse to not attend other parties. And it was a really great night playing board games and watching the count down!

Anyway, feeling like death because my cold turned into asthma. My inhaler has been velcro'd to me these last couple of days. Nothing worse than feeling like hundreds of books are piled on your chest.
