The house selling thing was kind of quick. They offered on the 30th, we were in contract by the 3rd I think. We close, Monday and then they take possession 20 days later. I just hope the friggin building process doesn't take too long. Living with my parents is going to be tough.

Just got back from stuffing myself at my work Christmas luncheon. I found a seat at a full table so DH didn't sit with me. But he still managed to give me a kiss in front of everyone before he left.

FFTC: I just took down some flag banners that have been hanging in our living room. They were decorations for L's birthday "> I liked them so I left them up.
FFTC #2: when I hung them up I couldn't find any regular tape or other hanging devices, so they were attached to the wall with medical tape.
@gutsymama - I just took down the "month pictures" that were hanging in the living room to use the ribbons to display Christmas cards
Grace's name was almost Rosemary and we were going to call her Rosie. My pastor did a whole series on grace when I was pregnant and I couldn't get it out of my head. I had never considered Grace as a name but sitting in church one morning I finally just realized that she was Grace all along.
Lots of prayers on that little one and by His grace..... I have mine. And the tears now...

I am so confused about what happened here, but one thing is sure. I am so glad I did not participate in either of the exchanges. Not saying anything about what anyone else does, just that I am content with my decision not to.

I think I'm the opposite, I used to feel really shy and intimidated about posting on the bump, and now I feel comfortable on this bmb, but I don't post anywhere else. In real life though I'm very outgoing and have to deal with difficult situations head on all the time.

I'd like to hope that I am pretty similar online as I am IRL. I think the biggest difference is that I may be more prone to open my mouth in person about certain topics that I will avoid online just because sometimes expressing yourself online just doesn't cut it and can leave so much room for misinterpretation.
I never participated in gift exchanges (the MOH debacle initially confirmed my decision), and I'm glad I stuck with it even though I was tempted.

It's a lot more wry I think thank can be effectively communicated through the webs. But I'm the same offline as I am online - and you'll never catch me being nice to your face and shitty behind your back. You'll always know where you stand with me. I learned a long time ago how that game feels when you're on the other side of it.

She does talk fast but she's a genius so it comes across as having forethought. So her brain works faster than her mouth. But it's not like a talk your ear off and you can't get a word in type thing.
