W was up at 4 again. My H is adamant about getting her out of our bed, and STTN, and waking up later than 4am...and yet he has no idea or plan for how to make that happen. He's full of declarations and "she has GOT to sleep!!!!!!!!1!11!!!!!!!" and yet....does nothing. I told him this morning that when he figures out a game plan to let me know.
@elf828 I'd go Tuesday night. You don't want your manager to turn around and tell you that you're not punctual during your review. She sounds like the type to do that. At any point during your review do you get to voice concerns? Is there a way you can say you've been made to feel like leaving to pump is unacceptable? Since it's actually your legal right, I'd think your company would want that info.
I think today is the day I try that cornstarch dough. This is either going to render an adorable Christmas present for DH, or it's going to be an epic nightmare which will require Daddy to come home early from work because mama is scarred and drunk.
FFMC #1: I drink more than one cup of coffee a day. Usually 3.
FFMC #2: LO is currently watching TV! Usually he doesn't do more than glance at it, but today something really caught his eye. So I'm letting him. I know you're not supposed to let LO's have screen time until at least 2, but 10 minutes of Chuggington probably won't break him for life, right?
We had a small drinks get together last night, which went over really well. LO loved being the center of attention so much that he decided to take his first step! Such a little ham.
FFMC #3: I am doing everything I can to avoid cleaning up the disaster area that is the aftermath of last nights party
@MissDemeanor those are too cute! I am the least crafty person on the planet but I might actually attempt this one!
I'm planning to make the one on the bottom right. think I'm going to make it with that foam stuff though, instead of construction paper, as it will hold up better in future years. And I've seen it done with the whole family's handprints, which might be cute. If I actually get it done today I'll post a pic
Work has been so far past busy for the last couple weeks I've barely had time to breathe, let alone post. But I've been trying to read from my phone when I happen to arrive to a meeting early. So... hello!
Last night LO was up coughing every 90 minutes. She'd cough for a minute, whine for a minute and then go back to sleep, so she got plenty of rest. Me? I'd wake up when she coughed, fret about if I should go check on her while she whined, and then lay awake for 15 minutes after she fell back asleep before I poked my head in to make sure she was ok. I am one tired mama this morning.

DD is...I don't know. She slept all night until about 5:30. DH fed her and put her back down and she started crying. I went in to get her and she was soaked in spit up/throw up. I cleaned her up and got her dressed, came downstairs, and there was more on her shirt. I took her back upstairs and changed her again. Walking down the stairs she threw up again all over the stairs and both of us. I got her cleaned up yet again, and she's just been kind of fussy ever since. Wouldn't eat breakfast, no fever. Poor baby
@sjelwood hang in there, lady! Solo parenting is really tough. I feel the same way after H being away for so many weeks. This definitely given me a newfound respect for all the single parents and military spouses out there - I have no idea how they do it!
So it's the last week of school before winter break. It should be a fun week, we're making gingerbread houses :-bd but we have a ton to do and I'm trying to figure out how I can fit in another Christmas project. I wish I could just rip up all of the assessments we have this week.
@elf828 I used acrylic paint on our salt dough ornaments and bought spray mod-podge. Although, I'm sure another spray-type sealant would probably have worked just as well, and I probably overpaid for the mod-podge name.
It seemed to do the trick, although I believe the 1 can cost me between $5 and $10.

So just so we're all clear on how my lyfe is, here's a story.
LO ventured to the grocery store. Every.single.news station is there. With all the cameras. I'm pretty sure we're on the background of some big wig talking. I'm in my typical SAHM Monday uniform of three day old jeans, no make up, and barely brushed hair. LO was playing with a bag of marshmallows and had his paci in the wrong way (nipple pointing out). The whole thing was very #moty.
So there's that. And we forgot baking soda, so that's Cornstarch Dough Update #2. It took two trips in to Dollar General to get it. Both times the cashier hissed at me, and both times some old lady was trying to return something for a price adjustment based on the newly expired weekly ad.
Hi guise. I'm having major bump difficulties today. I'm not sure if my love tits are going through and my session keeps timing out on mobile. And don't get me started on the emoticons.. WTH is going on??
Made dough. Did not realize it needed to be cooked. Recovered. LO did something to hurt himself at critical moment in cooking process. So now in addition to me wondering if the consistency of mashed potatoes should resemble mil's, boxed, or mine, I'm trying to deal with a screaming LO.
Re: Monday Randoms
My countdowns begin - 5 days until a long break from work and 7 days until DH is home! <:-P

@BlueDot818 I'd feel the same way you do but I think you're making the right choice.
@DreamingBabies Yay for a successful shopping trip and feeling fantastic today!
FFMC I had almost zero caffeine while pregnant and have probably only had four caffeinated beverages (soda) since DD was born. I hate coffee and tea.
Today is the first time that Scarlett is wearing her big girl panties to school. Send me your dry thoughts, F14!

Oh no! @ramfan05 Poor girl, I hope she gets over that quickly. It doesn't sound fun for any of you.
(( @sjelwood )) I would be flipping the f out.

Dough is cooling.
I rewarded myself with a donut.
