Did anyone on here have a easy natural labour ?? No screaming just pushing ? I dreamt of that lastnight, just wondering if it's possible lol . Knowing my luck it will be the opposite haha
Me, but I had an epidural. I labored on my own for 16 hours before getting any pain meds without screaming. After labor, only took motrin and tylenol for pain for a weekish. I would've done totally natural, but had to be induced with Pitocin, so I opted for the epi.

I did, check out Hypnobirthing or Hypnobabies. I had an amazing experience both times using what we learned in our Hypnobirthing class! I can honestly say that the only time I felt actual pain was at the very end, 'the ring of fire'. Other than that, labor and pushing was intense, took all my focus, but I wouldn't label it as 'pain'. I hummed through my contractions, but wasn't screaming and did not feel out of control. I did let out a small scream with my second right as he was coming out, again 'ring of fire', but other than that, it wasn't bad at all
I had a painless labor. I wasn't wuiet but I didn't scream. I was just as loud as my previous labor that was actually very painful, but I was relaxed and my tone was controlled both times; low moans on long exhales through contractions. I felt the ring of Fire both times as well but they weren't that bad. The only problem with a painless labor is that it's really hard to know if it's the real thing or not or, if you are having a hospital birth, when to go to the hospital. I was lucky that I planned a home birth with my second baby because I thought I had hours left still when I started pushing and she came 6 contractions later. No way I would have even made it into the car before she was born.
I had a relatively painless labor and delivery (and it was fast once it got going). I tried an epidural but it failed for some reason so the contractions did wear me out a bit, but once I hit the active labor stage it only lasted five minutes, I didn't make a sound and it only took a couple of pushes before my son was born. If it weren't for the fact that my husband, sister, mom, OB and nurses all confirmed for me that it was in fact that quick and easy, I'd have thought I dreamt it hahaha But it was one of my favorite experiences ever, I had a lot of fun with it
On October 15, 2014 i had a dr's appointment. My doctor said my ultrasound looked great. The thing that concerned my doctor was the fact that i was showing symptoms of pre eclampsia. That is when my doctor said I need to go to the hospital ASAP. Once I got to the hospital the nurses gave me a dose of cervidil at 6 pm. I was only 1cm dilated, and -2 station. Once the medication started to kick in so did my contractions. My contractions weren't too bad. I was able to breath through them. The following morning my other doctor (i had two doctors because this was a high risk pregnancy) told me that he was going to give me pitocin to induce labor but not till the 16th or 17th of October. He wanted the cervidil to ripen my cervix really well before inducing me. At 11am the nurses gave me my second dose of cervidil. Once again once the medicine kicked in so did my contractions. This time was different though because my contractions were right on top of another, and very intense. I just hummed through the contractions and took long deep breaths. It was around 2:00 when i asked the nurse that the pain was really intense that I would like an epidural. The only reason why i had asked for one was because i was under the assumption i was still 1 cm dilated. I had thought that by the time i got to 9 or 10 cm, i would not be able to deal with the pain. The nurse tried to explain that i was too early into labor to get an epidural, and she would talk to my doctor to see what they can give me. I kept breathing thru the contractions when i had a sudden urge to push. I looked at my mom and said mom i have to push really bad. My mom is looking at me like im crazy. She replied "what do you mean you have to push?" I'm barely out of breath because the contractions and said "mom, just please call the nurse and tell her." The nurse rushes in to check on me. When she does, her jaw dropped and she said " Oh my God, you're having your baby right now. You're complete" Before my mind had time to process, my room was packed full of nurses. The nurses had broken my water, and I had my daughter in four pushes (7 mins total). The pushing did not hurt at all until "the ring of fire". At no point did i scream or curse (which totally shocked me!) The nurses said "look down, there is your baby". One nurse said "I want you to grab your baby, and pull her out (from under her arm)" I pulled my daughter out and placed her on my chest. My daughter literally just laid there and didn't cry. she just looked up at me in wonder. I'm so grateful that I was allowed to pull my daughter out. My ob finally made it when it was time to deliver the placenta. lol. No one thought i was going to have my daughter so quickly especially since this is my 1st pregnancy. My daughter was born at 38 weeks weighing 6LBS 1oz, and 20 in long. She is absolutley perfect!
I wish I could say I was able to make it through without screaming, but with both pregnancies, I had an epidural. It seemed like once I got past an 8 (or once the babies had descended past a certain point), it didn't work any more. I screamed my head off like a flipping banchee.
1st time I was induced with an epi. (In hospital 26 hrs - pushing for 3hrs) Didn't hurt until push time when it wore off and I screamed a little and tore a little. It took 2 weeks until I felt like I had recovered. 2nd came so fast I had to go natural and it hurt incredibly. I screamed with one big push and done. But it was over much more quickly and I recovered much faster. (10 min. From time I entered ER to delivery. Luckily I live 10 min. from the hospital)
