Pertussis, I'm guessing. It's probably just taking forever to run its course since the baby is sucking your immune system dry. I'm much better...although thinking I'm getting a cold. Our weather here has been nuts. 70 one day, 40 the next, back up to 70. My body doesn't know what the hell is going on.

Internet is down today..again! Ugh. Thankfully it's an NCIS marathon on USA today. I have about a million things to do online today and not being able to do any of it is a PITA. Waiting on the dr to call after reviewing test results from the weekend more throughly that right now show I'm borderline for preeclampsia. I was hoping I'd be able to have at least one uneventful pregnancy. DH is worried after visiting Dr Google/Mayo Clinic website and researching preeclampsia. MIL is acting like is no big deal and laughed when we told her last night and my parents are trying to coordinate moving the rest of my furniture etc from the valley to our new house and move my sister from her apartment back to their place.

I no longer have a placenta previa, it has moved up right where it should be! DD was yawning and being generally adorable the whole time, measuring right on track and estimated to be about 2.5 lbs

Due to the holidays I am going 3 weeks in between my dr appt, which normally shouldn't be a big deal except at my last appt a week ago my cervix started to shorten. Not much (2.85) but still, I have terrible pains in my vag that makes me terrified it is from my cervix.

Oh yea and speaking of terrible pains, I always hurt I told the Dr and was told carrying 2 babies can be uncomfortable.

Our hot water heater finally went out so DH had to replace it. On the bright side I can shower, do dishes, and laundry without constantly checking it.

And the best for last, we have locked in a pediatrician. She is so nice, and come to find out she is a twin mom too! I loved the office and the staff everyone was really kind.

IWe're going to the San Juan area for half the time (with a day trip to El Yunque rainforest) then the other half on the island of Culebra. [I haven't lived in PR but] I've been to Culebra!  Back in 2011... It was really neat.  The island is tiny and not very touristy at all.  Lodging options are limited, but I'm sure you know this already if you've made all your plans (no big hotels really - we found a small rental house that was perfect).  Are you doing the ferry boat over, or a puddle jumper plane?  We flew and it was... um, thrilling!  Those planes are tiny!  Definitely try and go to Flamenco beach!  It is as pretty as the pictures.

I don't think I updated about my MFM appt yesterday...had another growth scan and the girls are still right on target!! It's amazing...mono/di twins and they're only an ounce off in weight so far, no worries!! I feel so blessed to be carrying two healthy baby girls despite all of what I am physically going through to do so. I see my OB tomorrow to discuss moving down to half days because I really do need the rest and less stress.

Finished 4 shifts but DS is being a pill today.  I just want to nap!

My parents wanted to host Thanksgiving and called dibs a few months ago.  Yesterday, my dad texted DH to say it's been moved to our house for dinner only to avoid potential drama with my dingbat, raging temper, hostile, entitled, world-owes-me-everything-but-I-shouldn't-have-to-work-for-it  brother (28yo), his gf/baby-mama (on again, off again, I love you to F***k you on Facebook), their 3mo and 2yo. 

I work Thanksgiving and Black Friday so I don't care.  Reminded DH I would be home around 8pm, eat, then in bed around 10pm.  DH said he & MIL would do all the cooking & cleaning.  Fine.

Sometimes it helps if once the pee stops, you rock/lean forward and see if you can get anymore to come out, and then rock/lean back and try again. The change in angles can sometimes allow you to fully empty your bladder.

OMFG, work rant

Picture this, guy and girl separate and guy wants his bill (only what he personally owes) sent to another PO box other than his ex's. Fine..understandable. So I split the accounts and according to the computer (which does it automatically) he owes 0 and she (including kids) owe 255.90. She called me bitchin saying she's never seen a bill from us and demands to know what the charges are for, when and who. Legally I can't tell her that I've split the account and her ex doesn't owe anything. They've literally never had a 0 balance since the start of coming here in 1999. I now need to sort through a shit ton of paperwork starting from 1999 (in paper copy until 2007 then computer from there) to figure it out. FUCK THIS SHIT. I'm irate. I guess this is the hell I pay for having off Monday and yesterday.

I passed my GD test with flying colors! Woooooo DD is measuring 2lbs 7oz and hb at 135! My healthy little girl is just growing like a weed. Appointments every 2 weeks now

Okay, I cannot believe I have never been to First Watch before. It was AMAZING!! And I did get the Florida French Toast @smg2302. Ella ate an entire berry crepe with yogurt. No lunch for these gals I think!

@krendel1990 glad I could be of service I found a $10 pencil skirt there yesterday. My poor DH. I think I bought too many maternity clothes this time around... but we are going to be around people for a month over the holidays so I need some options! Did you get my sweater? Are we going to match?!

Oh and yes my crotch hurts all.the.time, especially when I am crouching down. The pressure and weight of these tiny babies is crazy!

DS1 has been having a miserable time teething again. That combined with getting bigger and slower has made the past week pretty difficult.

TOTALLY lean forward. It undoes something, helps the bladder empty completely. Interestingly enough this was almost the only helpful thing I gleaned from the What to Expect app.

That sounds like such a douche move.  Why did he torment you with a specific meeting at a specific time if he knew he was still waiting for feedback?  As soon as he knew he couldn't tell you, why didn't he move the meeting or at least tell you that the meeting today was going to be about something else?!  I'm just on pins and needles for you, so I know you HAVE to have wanted to biotch slap him in the face.  Ugh..    I was so hoping for ANY resolution for you today.

@mrdcle that sucks so much! I hope he gives you an answer on Friday, and not keep you waiting all weekend too.

@scahlin and @mishka29 during my last pregnancy I had pain on my right ribs, below my breast, right where the abdominal muscles connect. Baby was also sitting on the right often, pushing on my ribs as he got bigger. The Dr. told me it was just my abs stretching, but nothing really to do about it. I found underwire bras and driving (certain sitting position) made it worse, so maybe try wireless bras and find out what posture positions are the least awful? 

My Spam: found out that I passed the GT test from 2 weeks ago, and all my blood work is normal (not anemic, yay). So now I feel I can eat all the things. Baby girl is probably head down, and punching the crap out of my lower regions according to the doc, not kicking and head up like I thought. Heartbeat was good and she even kicked the doc while my abdomen was being palpated. I celebrated with a Starbucks run on the way home- pumpkin bread and salted caramel hot chocolate. Yummy.
