Morning ladies. We have made it half way through the week! If only I hadn't had my days screwed up all week and thought Monday was Tuesday and yesterday was Thursday.
Good Morning. I refuse to accept that it's wednesday yet. It's early in the west coast but baby was moving and now I'm awake. Bumping and drinking some milk before I try to go back to sleep for an hour.
Morning! I feel like when I'm not reading a spam thread I'm missing something impt lol. Silly work.
Took a benadryl last night and for some reason it didn't kick in until way late. You suck. Another note a girl from the Third Party board is going to be on GMA today talking about donor embryos and her journey. Pretty cool. People magazine also did an interview

Uugghh morning...terrible night of sleep. I had heartburn all night and I kept waking up because my stinkin hips hurt. I rolled back and forth a million times before I decided to lay on my back. One good thing is I had Monday and yesterday off of work which never happens.
We also ordered the crib and dresser yesterday. I can't wait to get them!! I think I found his going home outfit as well. It says built tough on the onesie and then has a moose on the butt. Way too cute! It's a newborn outfit so I may pick out a 0-3 because everyone keeps telling me he's going to be such a big boy. *insert eye roll

@mrdcle oh good luck! I know that's scary, but what a relief that it will be done today!
I'm starting to freak out about thanksgiving a little. It's my first year to host (without a master cook visiting to help-- aka my mom), and I'm working through Wednesday next week. Also, my MIL is coming Tuesday, and I have no idea if she plans on staying with us. We don't have a spare bed, so it's really cramped with her in the living room (and I lose my quiet place). I've asked her what her plans are through email, since I'm a chicken, but she hasn't replied yet...

My FB post this morning...
Pregnancy Chronicle 11-19-14: I can't fit any of my boots anymore... I can't afford to buy a new pair that do fit. Therefore I can only wear my flats, which won't fit if I wear socks. So I cried this morning.
What size shoe are you (do you currently need?) I have a huge batch of stuff going to goodwill in the next few weeks- if there's anything that would work for you, I'd be happy to send!
Its 19 degrees here! I missed the part where I moved to Canada. When did that happen? Most winters where I am hover around the low 30s for the most part, and I've found so far that I don't need a coat, just a sweater at that temp. Gotta dig out a jacket from some place in the house, even if I can't close it!
This should maybe go in a decorate board or something, but I found this online:
And I'm kindof obsessed. Its a 4.5 foot tall giraffe. Aside from the frivolity is this bad idea? Safety issues once baby is mobile? I think DH is afraid to try and talk me down.
@flyster Ella has this giraffe! It is at MIL's house but Ella loves it.
Ella woke up at twice last night. Sigh. She hasn't done that in like, 6 months. The positive: she went back to sleep in her bed both times. And she is being extra sweet this morning with cuddles and kisses and telling me she loves me.
@holachicaaa , is this a baby moon?? What good timing since the whole country is freezing right now!
I posted a facebook status yesterday asking if it was OK to give your significant other cash for Christmas, because I didn't know what to get DH and he is such a great pal to me. It was a total reference to the Seinfeld episode where Jerry gives Elaine cash for her bday, but I think many of my friends missed that and let it be known that it was a bad idea!
My shower just got moved from the second weekend in January to December 14th! Because I didn't want to be involved with the plans I left it up to them but was quietly nervous of the 2hr drive each way in likely bad weather. Well they reevaluated and asked to move it and I'm so happy I wanted to know what I had left to buy with more than a month before my due date so this is perfect.
@MaryS001 what kind of leggings did you get from The Gap? Are they the "supersoft" or the "full panel"? They are really cute and I need something besides jeans to wear for the next 3 months!
@Izzy0927 I am now wearing a size 11 shoe (yikes)!
F15 January Siggy Challenge: What I'm Looking Forward to After the Babies Arrive Bringing them both home...UPDATE...The girls are home!!! 1/7/15 after 20 days in the NICU!
I ran my rugby club's training last night and it wasn't a total disaster, so that's good on me. Also found out that they're planning a brunch for me and my teammate who's due about a week after me in January.
Class on Monday was interesting, largely because we went through the labor/delivery video and pain management methods. I've never seen DH so uncomfortable as when we were going over the epidural.
I've got my appointment tomorrow and my 1-hour GTT and then I have to finish cataloging artifacts in bins. The only reason I'm unlikely to do it today (the cataloging) is because it's raining.
I need to search for some leggings. I've been wearing my non-maternity ones, but they're starting to dig into my bump.
Anyone know where I can find fleece lined maternity leggings that don't cost a ton?
I have a follow-up u/s today in like an hour! I'm so excited to see DD. I didn't get an u/s this far along with DD, so I'm not sure what to expect. Just checking on the status of my previa.
F15 January Siggy Challenge: What I'm Looking Forward to After the Babies Arrive Bringing them both home...UPDATE...The girls are home!!! 1/7/15 after 20 days in the NICU!
Morning ladies. Anyone else getting bloody noses from this freaking dry cold air? I got up early to buy a humidifier for my office, I hope it helps. My nose hurts so much.
Also, I've pretty much resigned myself to not being able to sleep easily until, well, the kid sleeps through the night. If one more new dad in my office bitches about how sleep deprived they are I might just throw something. I guarantee their wives haven been unable to sleep for months, but dear god as soon as shit gets real for men they sure do whine.
In a way, we have months to adapt but it must seem like a sudden hellish change for men. After all, my DH sleeps soundly every night and will continue to do so until I go into labor. Sigh.
Happy Hump Day! The weeks are starting to fly by and I still have nothing done...awesome! I have a pair of full panel leggings from Motherhood Maternity and they are amazing!!!! I bought a pair from ON but they were horrible, I don't know how people wear the half panel pair ( not sure the real name). I always thought leggings are too thin to wear outside so searching for some thicker ones, it's getting really annoying putting on my maternity jeans. haha
So DD has been having a sleep regression lately, and it's been about 3 weeks since she STTN. I went to bed at 8:30 last night trying to catch a continuous chunk of sleep and she finally STTN again!!! Of course this would be the night that everything fun happens on TB.
It makes me tear up that you are all searching your closets to find shoes for @PeaceofKia. I wear a size 7, so I can't be very helpful. I've resorted to fake uggs from some cheapo store in the mall. All I wear are long sleeved shirts, maternity leggings and hese fake uggs. 100% of the time. If I can't wear that, I don't go.
I've been having dreams about PTL for 3 days in a row and I blame bumping in the middle of the night. This morning, as I tossed and turned, but stomach was SO tight. As I sit in the recliner now, it's not tight, but the second I stand, it's tight again and almost painful. Maybe not painful, but uncomfortable.
In other news, I need for DH to chill out and just follow my lovely prioritized list that I made for him. There is SO much going on that I can't do that I feel so helpless! I need him to go pick up the dresser for the nursery, some other nursery furniture he bought from a client's house, etc. I can't do anything at home until he does this.
The nephew also has yet to get his shit out of my basement when he was supposed to move out by October 31. His room will be DH's new office, but until then, we have GIANT piles of furniture and boxes in our house waiting to go there. I keep offering new ideas for how to either get him to call the nephew or hire someone to get the shit outta here on nephew's dime.
Sorry. I think @psychobutthead needs to pass me the drama llama badge for the last few days. Thank goodness I have you ladies!

Twins? You mean two babies? WOW!
Team PURPLE!!
We are excited to meet William Alexander and Harper Abigail in 2015!
Just drank the bottle of the glucose drink...now sitting around before I need to head out for the doctor. I'm really hoping everything will go well and I won't need further testing.
@pieceofkia - keep the toes warm! I've gotten pretty limited shoe wise myself lately and was telling DH I needed some tights because I can't wear boots and leggings every day. The same pair of boots with leggings every day.
@mrdcle - good luck! I'll be thinking about you today and I hope the waiting doesn't drag on too long.
@paleomama - I was so busy at work yesterday that I couldn't even begin to look at all the crazy postings going on. Anything good in particular? I couldn't even keep up with spam yesterday.
Well, yesterday I was released from the MFM! I also go to see little Ryan and she was busy kicking, punching and rolling around. She started out transverse and moved down a little while we were doing the ultrasound. I also heard for the first time yesterday that I have an anterior placenta which is why I was one of those who was worried about feeling movement!
I get to do my GD test with my regular OB tomorrow morning - oh joy!
It is so cold for us down south. Last night, we woke up with the great dane snuggled in between DH and I because, obviously, that's the warmest place he could find last night. He is such a big baby.
Just another vote against Old Navy leggings. Love them for tops and even the jeans are fine but the leggings I bought suckkkk. I have a regular pair from the Gap I like, but are starting to dig into the bump too.....someone chime in on full panel or not!
Also, glad I picked last night to watch girly movies and be Bump Free. Fucking loons, all of them. Big love to my regs.

My left nostril always has blood, from the beginning of this pregnancy. Bleh. Hope the humidifier helps you!
I find it fitting that the glucose test is the GD test on here. Mine is this morning. 30 min left.
Love is like infinity: You can't have more or less infinity, and you can't compare two things to see if they're "equally infinite." Infinity just is, and that's the way I think love is, too.

I saw this the other day on PBK and was intrigued. We are doing a safari animal theme for the nursery and I have a giraffe decal.
My only thought was that I would forget it was there when going in for late night feedings etc and it would scare the crap out of me in the dark (thinking it was a person standing in the corner)

I swear by the full panel Old Navy Yoga Pants, I bought three pairs in black and they are GREAT! so comfy, thick enough to be winter warm, and flattering.
