@sugahcookie01 I can understand you being nervous, I find myself in the same boat sometimes where I KNOW I wouldn't think anything of XYZ symptom if it weren't for happenings on here! It sounds like it isn't a problem, but I would say just keep an eye on it. And if you have to be that nervous FTM calling the doctor, then so be it, that's what they're there for!
All of this! We can tell you its most likely nothing, but if you need a nurse to put your mind at ease then dont feel bad calling or making an appt for this afternoon. Hugs!
@sugahcookie01 I'm sorry lady it sucks to have anything out of the norm because right now we are definitely going to stress about it more than we probably would otherwise. I'm sure you are fine but just wanted to let you know you aren't alone in your worries.
Though you lost me a little when you used the word "moist" *shudders*
@PeaceofKia I have the same issue I'm down to running shoes and cowboy boots that fit.
Crazy night on the board apparently. Symptoms question - I couldn't find the previous discussion on rib pain. I'm going to the Dr on Friday and plan to talk to her but I have been having constant pain on the right side directly under my breast. Its more of annoyance than anything. Any helpful hints on causes and maybe relief ideas. Dr google gave a variety of response but then all mentioned both sides hurting.
@sugahcookie01 As musicgirl said, it's probably all the happenings on F15 magnifying the symptoms you're experiencing. Hugs and hope your doc/nurse can help put your worries to rest!
Good luck to all who have GD tests today.
Safe travels to the vacationers/traveling for work mamas!
Nothing going on today except trying to keep warm. DD2 has a runny nose this morning, so she might have a little cold from when DH let her run around without her coat on in 40-degree weather. Grrr!
@holachicaaa I am so jealous! I could use some heat right now.
@marys001 I am hosting Thanksgiving at my house too. My MIL said she would come over to help with the turkey and dressing because I have never made it before, but I kind of want to do it myself, in my pajamas. I am overly concerned about dressing/stuffing. I grew up with Stove Top. My husband's family has always had homemade bread stuffing (vs. cornbread dressing). Pinterest is my new best friend right now.
PS you all make me feel better. I think I just wanted to tell someone I felt nervous. I didn't want to mention it to DH because he'd freak out when I logically know it's not a big issue.
No but for real, that's why we're here. I honestly had to take myself into the bathroom for a blot earlier this morning. Normal but unpleasant.
Had my OB appt this morning and my uterus is still measuring big. I went from measuring 32weeks at 26, to 33 weeks at 28. OB is going to check measurements again at next appt and consider scheduling another growth US. They are thinking the baby is just going to be on the big side. He measured in range on Monday but on the high end of the range.
In other news... I'm sitting here at my 1hr GT, and while I had one around 9 wks and knew what to expect, nobody told me that the kid would flip out. (Maybe I should've assumed since juice does the same thing) but goodness gracious calm down baby.

Its 19 degrees here! I missed the part where I moved to Canada. When did that happen? Most winters where I am hover around the low 30s for the most part, and I've found so far that I don't need a coat, just a sweater at that temp. Gotta dig out a jacket from some place in the house, even if I can't close it!
This should maybe go in a decorate board or something, but I found this online:
And I'm kindof obsessed. Its a 4.5 foot tall giraffe. Aside from the frivolity is this bad idea? Safety issues once baby is mobile? I think DH is afraid to try and talk me down.
If you were in Canada you would have been greeted with -10 this morning. (I think that's 20). Everyone bundle up!
YES! Buy the giraffe! If it's really sturdy they can use it stand up later or ride it like a pony!
@PeaceofKia -- I'm totally with you. I'm down to like two pairs of flats, and my running shoes. Is it the size that is bigger? Mine has been the width. I was able to hit payless and get my same size in a few just the Wide. If you want a cheap pair to just get you through, Payless might be an option. (they have lots of 11 and 12 too)
@sugahcookie01 I had the same with last pregnancy and this pregnancy. Dr. also mentioned that is common for a lot of women to sweat down there which would also be a yellowish color. She said if the flow, for lack of a better term, of discharge got much heavier, they had these strips that I could take home that changed to certain color if amniotic fluid was present. I'm not sure if they are prescription, OTC, or only the Dr. has them, but it might be worth looking into for peace of mind.
@sugahcookie01 I can relate. I mentioned the same thing at my last appointment and was asked if it was constant or occasional. If you are having occasional extra "moist" moments it's probably nothing of consequence (little bit if pee maybe)? however if it's constant and very consistent then it may be time to get checked out.

Since we are on the topic of "is this normal", my heart is beating out of my chest this morning. I typically have low normal BP. My HR is 112 and I have been sitting in the recliner for over an hour. Google isn't telling me much.........

See, and I just went to the bathroom and when I looked at my liner (seriously I am so full of gross details today, sorry vipes) I noticed it was tinged yellow, so clearly I've had some leakage of some sort. But then when I did a tissue test, I actually wasn't WET at all. So yay?
I think it's just increased urine leaking going on.
I've noticed I have to pee really badly all of a sudden, but then don't have much to GO, so Henry must just be all over my damned bladder right now.
Ive been sweating a lot down there lately too (sexy!) so a liner may be picking up some of that as well? It doesn't sound like something to cancel your chiro appt over just yet.

@scahlin I've been having the same pain as well. I guess not pain but dull ache for sure. I've narrowed it down to the following possibilities: wire bra, ribs moving, and fat fold created by growing belly. Let me know if you hear something better!
@jaztastic, my kid was bouncing around all over the place. Of course, she's been doing that since 3am, but she definitely picked up the pace after the drink.
@sugahcookie01, to me you're in the norm (based on what everyone's saying and what I'm experiencing, too), but if you need reassurance, definitely call. Your nurse would rather you check in than worry, I'm sure.
Appointment this morning went well. The glucola went down easily and I managed to get some reading done while I waited for the blood draw. I also scheduled visits at 31 weeks and 33 weeks per my OB's request; 33 weeks will be a growth ultrasound and is the day my parents and siblings arrive for the holidays. It'll be nice to show them the ultrasound pics that evening.
Since I fasted and they drew four vials of blood, I got a sausage and cheddar sandwich from Starbucks. Why the hell not?
Awaiting our bundle of cute chaos.
F15 January Siggy Challenge: What You're Looking Forward to Most after Baby Arrives
OMG ladies I am a hot emotional WRECK this morning... I just bought my crib online and called to tell my dad about it... He says, "so what are you're Uncles going to get you now?" I have 3 Uncles and only one is married, I guess I never really thought about them getting the baby anything since I knew they wouldn't be invited to a shower... anyway, now I'm crying up a storm over here because I feel blessed!

I had that the other night. Out of the blue really high hr. A few hours later it was back to normal and has been fine since.
I was looking it up and apparently pregnant ladies naturally have higher resting bps, so maybe that's what's up with you.
I've decided that the answer to this and everything else is to drink water.

For the ladies running out of shoe options, I hear you! I feel like I have hobbit feet right now-other than the hair, ha ha! They have gotten so much wider and I had flat feet to begin with so shoes have been a disaster. I've discovered crocs actually have some cute shoes that don't look like the typical crocs. I got a pair that look like moccasins and they fit my swelling feet and are quite comfy!
Im taking Ella out for brunch to a new place that DH recommended and Im super excited!! Yummy yummy yummy.... https://www.firstwatch.com/
Get the Florida French Toast. Or if it's on special, they have a really good Montecristo. Or the chickichanga. Shit, I think I go there too often.
Mmmmm I think we may be going there too often also. Thanks for the tips!! Its probably a good thing DH waited almost FOUR YEARS (?!) to tell me about this place.
sugahcookie01 this is me, every day. I don't think it's urine in my case, but the little trickle I feel is always within 30 minutes after I pee. So who knows. I asked my doctor at one point who said we just have more fluid down there, and it's got to go somewhere.
Vent: TL;DR ... MIL is still BSC and up to her antics again.
I wanted to spam and tell you last night, but I needed more details first. Long story short DH and MIL are at it again. He stormed out of the house around 8 last night in a fit on his way to confront her. Last we all spoke was when DH and I stopped over last month and she decided to gift is the gift we would never use. But we left on good terms.
My mom informed me that MIL never RSVPd for the gala and has yet to return multiple phone calls and messages. We think that since she couldn't bring her 40 guests she boycott. So I told DH, and since then he has been trying to reach her (I've even called). Apparently she is ignoring all of us and upset because no one asked her to help do anything for the baby. Huh!??
She wants attention and to be begged for help. She needs to feel like you need her. I swear this lady is crazy. DH is beyond pissed and told her not to be mad when Dolce calls his fathers wife (MILs ex husbands new wife) grandma. Well that really sent her into a rage. He doesn't want anything to do with her anymore.
All I know is, I am so uneasy with the thought of her being alone with my child. And by alone I mean not in my presence. I don't think I will ever be okay with her around the baby. Gosh!! I just want some normalcy.

Thanks for all the support ladies! I'm really hoping we talk soon I'm all shaky and nauseous about this.
@lizzybean First Watch is great! Their pancakes are MASSIVE though just as an fyi haha.
@jaztastic...that sucks...I'm sorry you have to deal with that. MIL drama is never helpful...especially while pregnant.
F15 January Siggy Challenge: What I'm Looking Forward to After the Babies Arrive Bringing them both home...UPDATE...The girls are home!!! 1/7/15 after 20 days in the NICU!
@jaztastic, that's awful. She sounds like she needs to be the center of attention always, which means she has time for no one if it's not on her own terms ... not even her son, daughter-in-law, or grandchild.
My FIL and MIL will never, EVER be alone with Willa. Period. I've seen him around kids and no way would I expose her to that. No way would he get to treat her as he did my husband.
I thought it would make me uneasy, to draw that line since they're her grandparents. But she's my priority, just like Dolce is yours. If you feel that's what you need to do, to keep Dolce safe, physically and emotionally? Do it.
Awaiting our bundle of cute chaos.

Morning ladies. Anyone else getting bloody noses from this freaking dry cold air? I got up early to buy a humidifier for my office, I hope it helps. My nose hurts so much.
Also, I've pretty much resigned myself to not being able to sleep easily until, well, the kid sleeps through the night. If one more new dad in my office bitches about how sleep deprived they are I might just throw something. I guarantee their wives haven been unable to sleep for months, but dear god as soon as shit gets real for men they sure do whine.
In a way, we have months to adapt but it must seem like a sudden hellish change for men. After all, my DH sleeps soundly every night and will continue to do so until I go into labor. Sigh.
I was so hoping to avoid buying any more maternity clothes, but my pair of bootleg ON jeans don't stay up on me (Major case of saggy ass...and trust me, I have a huge ass). and my ON skinny's are getting very uncomfortable where the denim meets the panel. So, with one pair of leggings and one dress to wear...I think it's time I get something else.
@BeckyP005 I had that problem after my diabetes appt...hospitals and clinics should have sanitary air fresheners.
