DH let me nap for like 40mins last night (took another 20 to fall asleep) without whining and kept DD away from my room and not watching tv, meaning they played!  Still went to bed at 9pm but managed to give DH a quickie ride so we both fell asleep like the dead lol 

Was a good night but now I want pumpkin cookies (made with frickin pumpkin please) and lumpias.  Thanks bishes

So far I'm having a great morning!  Woke up to an email from a parent of a student I had last year offering me hockey tickets to next Tuesday's game.  He said that DH and I should try to get a date night in while it is still relatively easy.  So excited!  Hockey tickets are expensive here, and we can't usually justify spending the money to go to a game. 

Hopefully this great day continues because I have parent-teacher interviews all day.  Although one mom did offer to bring me a SB white chocolate mocha in the middle of the morning, so I have that to look forward to!

@Anna930 I don't have the heart to take down that picture even though it was for September's theme. I support your plan to get store-bought cookies so you can keep the homemade ones for yourself--you really have to think about yourself in these last few weeks of pregnancy, remember it's all for the baby! And if you don't, you're a bad mother and might as well bathe in caffeine and heroin. Just sayin'.

I really wonder what parents are thinking when they choose questionable names for their children. I mean, if there's a good story or meaning behind it, ok, that's something, but in the end it's not only about how other people react, it's how your own child is going to react when they are old enough to call you on it.

I had a bit of a meltdown last night because I couldn't remember for the life of me how far along I was. I was at work so customers kept asking and it was really overwhelming to have to guess a number. Anyways, I'm 33 weeks tomorrow. Count down says 50 days!

OMG so jealous!!! Having lumpia for the first time in 7 years was the highlight of my grandpa's funeral in California a couple of months ago - yeah, I know, there isn't supposed to be good parts of funerals, but we prefer to celebrate life rather than mourn death.

Totally with you. I feel like compared to so many other people I have talked to, I have had a relatively easy pregnancy so whenever I am asked how I am doing/feeling at this stage in the pregnancy I always respond "Feeling pretty good. I cant complain."

@courtd2 - Within the last month I have definitely started to feel overheated often. I used to find my office freezing and would always have an extra personal heater turned on in here. Now I find it too warm. Other new pregnancy symptoms that have popped up for me recently are tailbone soreness (I had heard others on the board mentioning this and now I finally understand) and exhaustion.

Yup.  Also 33 weeks.  My fingers hurt to bend now.  Especially when I wake up in the middle of the night.  I think it's just from swelling.  7 weeks to go.....

I've also got some swelling going on. I'm hoping it doesn't get too bad because I really don't want to have to take my engagement ring off. I've also been short of breath from just walking around the grocery store, getting gnarly leg cramps at night, and my boobs hurt.

They were great too my grandmas adult foster home is run by a Filipino family. And their matriarch (who loooves me and happens to be the lumpia Queen ) was over there and making them last night. She made me parents bring me some

Omg, take the ring off while you can!  I've been wearing my wedding ring on a gold chain for several weeks now and I can see how swollen my fingers get as the days past.  Last thing you want is for L&D to cut off the ring cause you can't get it off for delivery. 

My hospital make you remove everything in case of surgery, so even my 2nd hole gold studs had to come out.

Hi ladies! I am the one BC trolls called out for words I don't use during the toll invasion...please, no one link my old SN to this new one though, I don't want to be searchable via google and linked. My tinfoil hat is now a tinfoil bodysuit but I couldn't quit you bishes.

As for more clues, my old SN had a pic of the same dog my new avatar is (same dog, diff pic) and my new SN is in honor of a bumpie newb who royally pissed me off with an asian stereotype. I love all the carbs, not just noodles and rice ;-)

Hahaha I feel your pain, @3girlsnthepup‌! I just saw all the delicious fried glutinous pics. I would be more upset but I had leftovers from last night waiting...I had slow cooked chinese pot roast last night from a GF asian fusion place. The meat was so tender it just fell apart...
