Well.... I haven't really commented or participated much since the babycenter shit show. Busy work week, no energy. Been lurking around a bit so I'm just aware of all the new developments. Just haven't been sure of what to say.. All I got is ... fuck it, I'm eating ice cream for dinner.
@agsgrrl what kind?! I must know.

  • @gimmeyronionrings‌ Pretty sure your SN has inspired at least half the board to go out and get onion rings at some point during this pregnancy.

If only I could be paid in delicious onion rings for driving up the industry's business! =P~ Mmmm...

Chilis has slightly spicy panko breaded onions rings now. They are so crunchy and delicious.
  • @megbmeg, good luck with that--I decided to have a candy bowl going at work for October since I love Halloween and chocolate and while I'm not eating as much of it as I thought I would there are days like today where I have multiples of each. Reese's, kit kats, and milky ways have all been my downfall! All mini versions--surprisingly fun size seems somehow less appealing so I've managed to avoid the snickers/butterfingers.

  • I just made DH leave the house to get me cheesecake because I saw it mentioned in another thread. To be fair this is the first time this pregnancy I've made him actually leave to satisfy a craving, but I still felt guilty.
  • Ok, I'm watching the World Series (grudgingly since my team is out), but here's a condundrum. If your team is the home team and down in the 7th inning by 6 runs, do you hang out because it's the f'ing World Series, or do you leave and miss the rest of the traffic?

I'd stay. I never leave games early. Especially if you're the home team. They've made it to the World Series, the least you can do is stay with them until the bitter end. Plus, 6 runs is totally doable in 2 innings. Imagine being that guy that left and missed a rally.

All the traffic is starting anyways.  Might as well wait it out a little with the last of my drink and then most of the traffic police are out and traffic is monitored/died down.

  • @RobinettMomma‌ only got so far in the story so I dont know if was mentioned, but recently taco bell has taken a major upswing and is considered to have the best grade meat and overall cleanliness. They have completely remade themselves, which is why in more recent years they have more commercials and for a while (like 10 years ago when the roach thing happened) they never really had advertisements. Just saying, taco bell used to be the crappiest place ever, now its much better.
  • Morning all! @chayshay1408 ‌ did your dog actually eat any of the makeup? Hope you guys can get past this. ;)

Had a pretty trippy night of waking up every hour then a flash of light and thunder and I listened to the storm raging outside, which I love to do. Feels like a Wednesday.

Totally second the Taco Bell statement...

Can't remember if it was on this thread or another one where we were discussing sex and I said that I had no energy for poor H but really wanted some. I then said that I wish he would just get to the point where he moved me into position and had his way with me. Well, he must be telepathic or something because I scored last night and didn't even have to do anything. It was glorious. Also, I had chocolate milk and zebra cakes for breakfast. Second breakfast will be healthy. Maybe. We'll see.
I told my husband to start doing this mid 2nd trimester and to not worry about it if I didn't finish.  That why he's be happy, leave me alone and I could finish the job around my deprived sleep schedule lol

  • Good morning! @megbmeg‌ Ithink you should do that costume! You would just need a cardboard box for the graham cracker and paint another brown for the chocolate. I love dressing up my dogs, even though they are big and hate it.

I cried last night when we got the car seat and stroller. That was the last necessity on our list to bring home baby. I only have 45 days. It feels like yesterday I was 45 days pregnant!
I finished yesterday, too, even for wants! I got a pack and play I didn't really need, some playtex drop-ins, NoseFrieda and some cloth safe diaper ointment.

We watched it last night also, but to me it is kind of like the Stanley Cup.  We were in the finals and crushed a team one game and then got crushed the next.  You stay until the end because it's the Cup.

  • I'm super proud of you Mamas that have finished. I still have a ways to go, but was told by my family to hold off on shopping, since my surprise baby shower may happen soon *sigh*

On another note, it's a cheeseburger and onion rings for this gal after seeing that lovely post up above! Yummy!

This is what DH said when I asked him last night. He looked at me like I was nuts that I even asked. He said you stay till the end at the f'ing World Series, especially since unlike the other sports, baseball isn't timebound. You can be down by 5 runs going into the bottom of the 8th, make 2 runs in the 8th, 3 in the 9th, play extra innings and win it in the 15th inning on a wild pitch (he saw this happen at a Giants game about 15 years ago he went to with some guys from work).

  • Just a PSA... It's pretty cold and yucky out today, but I just got out of the shower and dressed straight from the just-finished dryer. I may leave my clothes in there all winter. #socozy. Highly recommend it. ;)

I do that with my towels all winter.

Never new how to approach the "this board needs" thread, it was so huge, can I sit with you guys? I brought pizza and donuts.

    1. You NEVER leave a baseball game before it's over. anything can happen. Some of the best games i've seen were comebacks when everyone thought it was over.

That is disgusting and awful! I have never been a fan of KFC. We had the same glass issue at a Taco Bueno here.
