    @katehgee : I LOVE the sectional. I wish we could have one in our place but it's just way too teeny in our living room.

    @3girlsnthepup : most thai places have GF options (I know that's been said) but I also wanted to say - they give you a choice about how spicy you want your food, on a scale of 1-5 "stars." So you can get it pretty mild. We get a lot of panang or yellow curry, pad kee mao, tom kah gai (coconut soup), and swimming rama (must have if you are craving peanut sauce).

    It's funny - all the pho and thai places in my (relatively small) town offer GF and veg options on *everything.* I'm feeling a little Portlandia over here.

    Except I can get better GF options at Chipotle. I went to Chipotle for the first time a couple of weeks ago because Freebirds menu just didn't cut it.

    On today's episode of "What Made Me Cry", I was reading What To Expect The First Year, and they mentioned the first time baby smiles. Even if it's just gas that makes him smile, it's going to be an amazing moment.

    You're lucky it was ugly. MAX was down, lots of power outages, you'll probably come home to tree pieces everywhere. We lost a chunk of fence.

    Hi ladies, just got back in town from our weekend babymoon getaway--had a great time being out in nature, and of course eating. I'm feeling renewed energy which I really need to whittle down my baby prep list.

    But first I'm going to order in some Thai food for dinner.

    I also learned, after not having been in the car for a month, that getting in and out of the car is hard. I'm wondering how that's going to go around thanksgiving, it makes me laugh just trying to picture it.

    Hope everyone who had a shower this weekend had a great time!

    @misskilljoy glad everything is ok for now--hope you are feeling ok now and not too tired out from the experience.

    I just had a shower last weekend, and my work threw me another one this weekend. My little house is covered in baby gifts! I am grateful and overwhelmed. Can't wait to start organizing it all.. buuut that's going to be a while. I am so tired, i'll catch up on here soon, but so far it's just made me hungry.

    Also, I got the host a gift for throwing the shower including some very delicious looking hot cocoa. I think I may indulge in it tonight and buy her a new one tomorrow....
