LOL, I don't even wake up to an alarm anymore. I just get up to pee at about 5 and lay in bed and doze for a half hour until I decide to get up.

@maasybaby‌ I do the same thing but I know it's because I'm PGAL and frequently worried about losing this pregnancy as well. I am mobile so can't see your siggy if you've had a loss too. DH helps me with my anxiety about this and constantly reassures me everything is fine and we have a healthy baby cooking! He has this "I told you so" look on his face after every normal OB appointment we have. Haha. I think as mothers though we will always worry about something going wrong with our children. Talk to your SO about your feelings or feel free to send me a PM. Take care!

Good morning ladies... Hoping for a better day today than yesterday... I was in a massive funk and I couldn't snap out of it. But I'm shaking it off and having a full work day... And tuesdays are FI's basketball nights which is always my wine and trash tv night.. I still don't have a good substitute for the wine but the trash tv will still go down.

@DronkeyGal‌ argh the running alarm! Usually FI gets up for his but when he doesn't and rolls back over I can never get back to sleep.

@maasybaby‌ I do the same thing... I thought about that yesterday.. It's so crazy but I can't help it.

@maasybaby I do that too. I guess I got in the habit and it hasn't stopped. I also occasionally go to the bathroom to check my pantyliner to make sure there is no blood. Discharge can freak me out sometimes because it feels like my period (minus the cramping, etc). Probably TMI.

We have our first pre-baby class today. This one is "Happiest baby on the block- how to soothe any baby". It's offered only 1 time every couple months, and DH and I were like "hell yes we want to know how to soothe a baby."

@cis78  My H was snoring all night long. He never snores. He must be coming down with a cold. Have to say, cuddling with someone who keeps snoring in your ear does not help you sleep better.

We moved into our house in May, so haven't had a need for heat yet, well now we do and it turns out the furnace is shot, we found that out when it dropped to 62 degrees in the house the other night.

Poor DS room was freezing, we had to break out the space heater last night which makes me nervous.  Good thing DH pulled the "pregnant wife and baby" card with the HVAC guys yesterday and they are rushing installation to thursday morning on the new one.

@bhjones1980‌ we had that happen last year right in the middle of winter when we were having the stupid polar vortex. Never getting above -30 and no hear wasn't fun. My sister and nephew were living with us so I pulled similar card and they came out on a Saturday

Hey ladies! I wanted to thank you all for your good thoughts yesterday. The client meeting went really well and I think I made a good impression on the principal. I had a crazy busy 12 hour work day yesterday, but God, when I'm excited about what I'm doing it flies by. I am so grateful to love my job (and I know it because I've pretty much hated every other job I've had before this one).

@maasybaby‌ I still do it too- and I don't think it'll stop until this healthy boy is born. I also will listen to his heartbeat on the doppler, even when I can feel him moving, so clearly I'm not very rational.

Good morning from the Caribbean! Vacation has been excellent so far but yesterday we got bad news. My BIL's (who is here with my sister and niece) mother had a brain annurism and is on life support. She had just beat lung cancer and has had several brain annurisms throughout her life, but was doing very well. He, my sister, and my niece flew out early this morning to go be with her and say goodbye. There's never a good time for something g like this to happen, but it was extra hard that they were 2 days into a vacation. I'm not a religious person, but ask that anyone who is please say a prayer for his family and anyone else send some positive thoughts their way.

In happier news, my child never wants to leave. We went to the beach yesterday and she spent nearly the whole time in the ocean, splashing and squealing!

I think checking the TP is normal.  I did it even with my first pregnancy, and I wasn't PGAL at that point.  Pretty soon though, it's going to turn from checking for blood to checking for your MP... That's always fun when people start posting about it. One of the girls from my Nov'11 board even had someone recently post a picture in her most recent BMB! Eww!

Positive thoughts for your family, that is really rough after just getting over the hump with cancer.

Last night, DH and I were laying in bed and I said, "OOOOP she's moving in there!" He was so excited, "NUH UH?!" and put his hand on my stomach, I felt her kick his hand a few times but he said he never felt it. Then he went down and was talking to her and she moved right to where he was and started kicking there but he swears he didn't feel her then either. He keeps saying she doesn't like him, I keep telling him she's just too little in there!

So not only do we have no internet or cable, but the reason is because our garage was struck by lightning and it has no power. The garage doors don't work, the lights/power don't work, therefore the fridge and deep freezer FULLLLLL of meat have been off for 16+ hours.

Good morning from jet lagged FL! 

We made it home in one piece and I am exhausted this morning. Ella is still sleeping and we have her first swimming lessons in 90 minutes and we need to get DH to work first. I hope she's not too exhausted for it. I did not think this scheduling through very well!

Missed you gals soooo much and I am a little relieved to be back in my own house, even though I miss my family like crazy.

Today I'm going to a funeral for a friend. Her father passed away from a heart attack. I can't stop thinking that this could have been my dad. Last month her had emergency life saving surgery after a ruptured aortic aneurism. The survival rate is less than 10%. So it very easily could have been him. I just need to stay positive and focus on my friend.

@WanderingA Im so sorry for your BIL's loss. The same thing happened to my parents this summer. They were 9 hours off shore, just dropped anchor on their boat the first day into their 3 week long trip, when they got the call that my Grandma had a brain aneurism in her sleep and wasn't going to wake up. It was the worst. Lots of positive thoughts for their family. ((hugs))

I was up from 2:15-3:30 this morning, just hanging out, listening to DH grind his teeth. Bah, so annoying. But on the plus side today is my HUMP DAY and I'm hoping to have just enough work to make it fly by, but not so much that I can't bump a little bit!!

My random is sad.

Our downstairs neighbor died sometime last week. We noticed his mail was piling up and there was a smell by the end of the week. Because he's not the cleanliest of guys, we guessed he was away and forgot to take out his garbage. We were about to go to the office when I could've sworn I heard him talking on Friday once the smelled cleared, but no. His memorial service is today.

Poor, poor man. Super friendly guy. I hate to think of him all alone in his apartment for a couple of days before being found.

WFH today with not much on the job agenda. Leaves space for getting ahead on some chores and dinners for the week. I slept straight through the night for the first time in weeks, so I want to be motivated, but I'm really just not.

My coworkers have started this new trend of coming up to me and literally shaking my belly in hopes they'll feel movement. Even though I've told them countless times it's really too early to feel random movement unless I'm laying down and well.. you're my husband and I'm allowing you to.

Sigh... I know this will only get worse with time.

Maternity leggings changed my life. I don't know why I fought wearing leggings for so long

I am super pissed this morning. I just learned that our car ins. went up like 600/yr. Including 260 for a speeding ticket I got last sept. - my first ever driving infraction in like 15 years of driving. (BULLSHIT!)  200 was for adding H to my policy (because he was finally going to be off his parents ins.) even though his dad is STILL paying for him on his own ins. - what the hell did I add him to mine for then?? 

All H would say was 'you should have listened to me and gotten a lawyer to fight the ticket' - like 12 times. (I didn't do it because it was from VA and I didn't know any lawyers or want to have to deal with that shit long distance and since it was my first ticket I really didn't think the ins. would go up so much, obvs. I was wrong) Thanks H for your support and commiseration.   

To top it off he is getting sick - so is super whiny and irritable and is making it very difficult for me to sleep at night.

A/S today! First ultrasound, so excited to see the little one but I slept pretty poorly with nerves. I kept having dreams that it didn't go well, nothing to do with the babe but we were late so they canceled, DH was on his phone instead of paying attention, etc. Hope this morning goes quick!

At my regular appointment last night we discussed my a/s findings. There was an echogenic focus on the heart. My dr was not concerned because everything else was good (and my quad screen was good) but mentioned that it can be a soft marker for down syndrome. I've been worried about this anyway but now...

I think I am going to get the materniT21 even though she doesn't know if my insurance will cover it based on this alone. I need to know. Does anyone else have any experience with this diagnosis?!

None of my clothes fit and I'm getting pissed off.

The maternity clothes I bought before don't fit. They're a size large and they come over my stomach. If I buy and XL I'll be swimming in them. I just fucking so sick of buying maternity clothes like every month to turn around and they not fit again.

I think it has been a week since I bumped last. DS's surgery went well, and he's still in the healing process (So sad, I hate to see him in pain)

I'm not sure if it's because the weather is getting cooler, but I'm starting to get in freak-out-mode about everything that has to get done before baby gets here! We have a LOT of moving around to do in the house, we are moving to the main floor and baby girl gets our room.. So much painting and moving, and furniture buying. AHHH
