Unrelatedly. WTAF. After being spit-up free for MONTHS (prolific, happy spitter 0-~7 months), Benjamin has spit up the first part of his bedtime bottle two nights in a row. Yesterday was just a little bit, but tonight was like a flashback to the early months. As far as I know he isn't having any issues with his milk at BabyWork. Perhaps I'll try giving him a sippy tomorrow and see if that helps somehow?
Ugh, a friend with a stationery company did our wedding invites and I just saw a post about them... She has ALL OUR BUSINESS on her website via pics of invites: full legal names, address, parent names... GREAT.
I think my head just spun around!
I'm a little behind so I hope you are posting that she is blurring it out ASAP!
I wonder what the deal is with the babies. Yesterday was rough and today I came home to a still sleeping baby. She napped for about 3 and a half hours, which is normal, and she hasn't been acting right.
Anyone watch Homeland? I just caught up from my dvr.... I'm sobbing
Yes, it was rough. (
Just finished too a few minutes ago. Disturbing in many ways. Carrie is one messed up chick.
Didn't love the baby interaction but I thought it was true to her character and kind of gave a face to ppd. I almost wish they explored it more. But I hope the rest of the season focuses on her other neuroses
Ugh, I almost killed him. But he had a fairly legit excuse. You lose cell service pulling into our driveway, so when his supervisor called he pulled over to talk to him. They had a major safety incident today that H saw coming. He was in a pretty heated convo and didn't notice my calls and texts on his personal phone. I laced into him anyways, you just don't say you'll be home in 5 min and not show. But I forgave quickly given the circumstances
@subliminalrabbit tell your husband to get a tens unit. My husband fell on ice several years back and sustained a Scotty dog fracture in his back and he has chronic pain as a result. His tens unit makes it feel much better. He doesn't even need to take medication for it.
anyone else having a clingy toddler at daycare drop off?
we recently switched up G's routine - DH was doing drop off but not making the train on time, so now I'm doing it. she's been super snuggly and cuddly when I try to leave. she doesn't cry. just clings.
Ty is the only boy in a class of 8, so as soon as we walk in the door he jumps out of my arms and his ladies start bringing him cars and books...I would love a little cling
@mcbush, we have been going through a regression for about 3 weeks now. It has mostly affected her naps, but she had two MOTN parties on Tues/Wed night. This is the longest regression we've had since she was 6-7 months. Hopefully it ends for us soon!

Yes! He just started a new daycare last week and he's been a super cling at drop off, the last two days he's even turned on the tears. He's never so much as given me a second look before running to the toys at drop off before so he's throwing me a real loop.
I spent 20 minutes wandering around behind an associate at Walmart trying to find cheesecloth.
The first lady I asked did not know what it was and said that didn't have any. Of the nearly one dozen associates that the woman that was helping me asked, only a couple of them actually knew what cheesecloth was. Only one had any vague idea of where it might be, and it turned out not to be there anyway.
All this despite the fact that it says it's in stock at that store on the interwebs.
If I were a more patient person, I would have just ordered it online for pickup in store and then they'd really have to find it. I gave up though and spent 5 minutes wandering around the grocery store where the first person I asked was able to find theirs. Oi. More expensive than the stuff at Walmart, but at that point I was so over it.
What website can I point someone to that explains proper carseat tips? I just saw a pic of a friend's baby with a chest clip on her stomach. I plan to tell her nicely to adjust it and where to get more info.
I was craving pumpkin pancakes. One of our local breakfast spots has my favorites ones ever. I called to pick up some on the way to the office, and they said they only make them on the weekends. Out of desperation, I picked some up from IHOP. They were gross. IHOP! You have the word PANCAKES in your name. WTF.
Went to target and took advantage of the Cherokee and circo 25% off cartwheel, bonus they were already on sale!! Also found the 4 in 1 bike on sale, all the wagons were already bought . I did score a cute little tikes water/sand table for 17 bucks though that was normally 55!
@babygsmommy when I was struggling big time with depression I found that going to the gym/working out helped me a lot. I think the release of endorphins helped balance things out a little better for me. Working out actually helped me wean off Zoloft so I could join the military.
I've had surprisingly good luck finding some on Amazon. Also this place, but I go into the physical store, so this info may not be as useful to you: https://www.thedetoxmarket.com/

I credit velour sheets for our co-sleeping to crib transition.

Hopefully all the babies feel better!
