@twinklymama totally random, but you mentioned KC-- are you watching the Chiefs game tonight?  Holy cow-- I'm so excited!  (It is never fun to be a Chiefs fan, so a MNF leading against the Pats is unreal!!)

I'm not, but DH is! He's gotta counteract his dad cheering on the Pats! (Even though he hasn't lived in Boston for over 40 years...) DH is just glad its a network game tonight, poor thing, we cut cable and ESPN is gone. Sad DH.

  • @psychobutthead‌ add some distilled white vinegar to the wash, that helps get rid of mold and mildew.
  • I just set my calendar on my wall up for october and filled in all appointments an things I can't miss. Ugh! I have my a/s and an OB appt on different days. I also have DD's school play that I can't miss and we got ren fest tickets thanks to my dad.

October is going to be an extremely busy month. And getting DH's wisdom tooth pulled has set us way back financially for this upcoming month. The life of a grown up sucks.

  • @psychobutthead, would it be possible to call the manufacturer and buy a replacement seat? If all else fails, it's probably still cheaper than buying a new one.
You know I hadn't thought of this but this is a really good idea if I can't get this one cleaned! Thanks!

  • @Oem617 How did your son do getting his tubes in today? I've been thinking about you guys.

@FlowerPower16 Thanks for thinking of us. I wasn't around yesterday.

He did get his tubes yesterday and it was a tramatic morning. The not eatting and the lack of routine caused a toddler meltdown. He cried, screamed until the moment I had to hand him over to the nurses to take him into the OR. The procedure only took like 15-20 min and went well. Then when he woke up he was out of it and probably scared. So that was rough too.

But when we got home, he ate and was better within an hour. By the afternoon he was himself again. He took a long nap and was good as new. Today he is back at school. I am glad it's over. Now we just have to get these ear drops in his ears twice a day. That's a challange in itself.
