So I'll basically be ordering a grande nonfat 1/2 caff caramel macchiato from here on out. My husband was finally able to order my drink comfortably and now I am changing it on him... oh well! I try to get one once or twice a week but fall = latte season.
@baileylove22 I thought of you as I freaked out all weekend! Glad your results came back clear, hoping for the same for me!
F15 January Siggy Challenge: What I'm Looking Forward to After the Babies Arrive Bringing them both home...UPDATE...The girls are home!!! 1/7/15 after 20 days in the NICU!
I woke up with a fever and I just felt dizzy and horrible. I think I ate too many foods I'm not suppose to have. I think I need to speak with my OB more about high blood pressure because I've never felt like that before.
So today once I got up I decided to kind of go through the closet in the baby's room. It was a lot harder than expected. I can still remember me throwing everything into that closet and just sitting down and crying afterwards.
I keep reminding myself how lucky I am and how so far nothing has been wrong and the baby has always had a strong heart beat. But its so hard somedays.

I forgot to say, I've only gained 1.3 lbs since my last appt with my ob on the 4th. That's 3 weeks... And only 1.3 lbs since then and only 13.5 lbs this entire time... Still 22.5 lbs to gain according to my mfm... Geez.
I think weight gain goals are bullshit. It so depends on the pregnancy and the babies. As long as the babies are a good weight and measuring okay, why does it matter? It makes me so annoyed!

Twins? You mean two babies? WOW!
Team PURPLE!!
We are excited to meet William Alexander and Harper Abigail in 2015!

Or when they guilt you for going over your goal. This OB has been pretty awesome as far as weight. But when I had my daughter the OB was just nasty and would lecture me that I gained too much everytime I went in. I had her when I was 16 and BP I weighed maybe 105 to 108lbs. My last weigh in that I remember with her was I got to I think 165lbs. She weighed 8lbs. and 12.7 oz at birth and when I got weighed at my 6 week check up I was 115lbs. and I think that was mostly my new boobs I had grown.
I hate doctors and weigh ins!

@kefttsc i agree... I was already overweight before pregnancy so weight gain already made menu nervous, I'm actually proud of the amount I've gained so far, I only wanted to gain 25 lbs this entire pregnancy so I'm okay with this. I like ruffling feathers every once in a while so I can't wait for my MFM to hear about it, lol.
F15 January Siggy Challenge: What I'm Looking Forward to After the Babies Arrive Bringing them both home...UPDATE...The girls are home!!! 1/7/15 after 20 days in the NICU!
I have a new TB based peeve. I hate WKs who show up for no reason. It's all good then they're like "you're all mean and sour, I got your back one person who isn't offended and completely understands" and it's so important to stand up for someone who doesn't need it that they ressurect a thread off of page 2.
I like how this one has committed to reporting posts she finds rude or offensive. She'll just end up dinging herself into a ban.
I hate that we can no longer see who reports a post as spam/abuse. For those who are on the newer side to TB- when a person reported a post as spam than their avatar was in the same location as the love tits but had a gray bomb instead of a heart. Seeing actual abuse reports made for some GREAT drama.
Me too! It's different for me because I can see all of the posts that have been reported as abusive... but I think it should show when someone has reported another post.
I think it creates a lot more work, though, for the moderators in the old system, because you have to go in and clear every non-abuse abuse report from innocent people's profiles. While I think that would be ok for us on F15, there are a bunch of people who moderate four or more active boards, and it could become pretty overwhelming for someone who is volunteering to do the job.
On the other hand, it's like juicy, juicy gossip. :>
------// I do wonder how many times I've been flagged for abuse now that they don't keep track on your profile. I think mods cleared out most of mine from before the change.
I rolled my eyes at this WK. The shit I post is so mild compared to other boards. And I maintain she deserved it.
@MaryS001 I get hives too. They started about 5 months post partum and have continued since then, with varing degrees of severity, every day. I was told that it could be hormonal from breastfeeding or pregnancy. PUPPS normally refers to people who are pregnant and then they go away after you give birth. I hope you can get some answers soon - from one itchy person to another!
@mishka29 ugh, I'm sorry you are dealing with that. The nurse just called me back and said they'd like to see me. I've got an appointment tomorrow afternoon, hopefully I get some answers then.
Has your doctor said if you might find any relief (do people say remission for chonic hives?) after pregnancy years?
OH @Ducktale, you're almost at ban-level abuse points. You could be banned any day now.
JK - it doesn't even show anymore. We just kinda have to roo-ooo-ooollll with the punches and keep in mind who's being abusive. We have a spreadsheet now where we track who has been warned for what and how many times, but we usually don't use it for people we know, unless it's someone who is really violating TOU and is on their way to banneration. We use it for back-up ammo on trolls and stuff who are getting banned for multiple violations.

I did try a few different things but was limited to certain medications because I was breastfeeding. Then we were trying again and now pregnant so I just gave up. Pregnancy seems to keep it under wraps -20 hives or less a day which is manageable. If it comes back full force afterwards then I'll be seeking some hardcore drugs to fix this! GL with your appointment!

It just took me about 10 minutes to find the thread you're talking about, that was a super random WK. I kinda want to chime in just to see how many times she'll report me, but I know it's not worth it.
What thread is this?
I think I woke up aggressive today (after an argument with my mom ) I'm in a viper mood.

@Ellteejay - does the skin taste any different? I'm sure that I wouldn't be bothered by the texture, but it's just second nature to peel them prior to consumption. I don't think I would do it if it made them taste any different, though.
OH, and - I just got my first Screme Egg yesterday (I'm going to eat it today). I'm VERY excited to see the Halloween stuff in stores. I Halloween the most out of any other holiday.
So I generally don't like bugs at all... you could maybe call it a phobia, but it's more like I just don't want them in my house. I don't usually freak out if they're outside, because frankly, where else would bugs be? But I prefer they keep to themselves. We get ants in our house, but I don't mind paying for a regular exterminator visit, because it really helps my peace of mind so much, especially with a kid around who's dropping crumbs left and right.
So of course, during the emotional times of my pregnancy, we have a mysterious infestation of houseflies in our bedroom/bathroom. Picture me last night after we found six or seven dying (big!) houseflies on our bathroom floor, probably dying because there's no damn food in those rooms, WHAT ARE THEY DOING THERE ANYWAY. I literally told my husband, you do what you want, I need to sit on the bed, close my eyes, and take deep breaths to try to calm down. He said he's going to do something about it today, but I have to not think about it, because ugh, it icks me out soooo much and then I start to spiral into a worry cycle where I can feel myself lose track of reason.
So that's what's up with this household!
GTKY: I really like sitting in LA traffic when I know it's going to be happening (e.g., when I start a commute and know it's going to be 45 min minimum). I love the alone time, and I bask in the sun, put on my favorite music, sing along loudly and off-key, and sloooooowly inch forward. By the time I get home or to work, I'm honestly refreshed! (obviously, I'm not a speed demon or master weaver)
Omg, that would give me anxiety. I hate traffic. Good thing I work at 5a in the morning when there isn't any
@ckimberly14
yikes, I just looked up PUPPP and it sounds miserable!! Oddly enough, I
don't have any hives on my belly, just legs and arms... but I am going
to try that soap (and/or whatever my midwife suggests, but I still
haven't gotten a call back from their office yet). Thanks for the tips!
Definitely!! I had terrible PUPPP on my upper thighs and left buttcheek (sorry TMI) my first pregnancy, and that soap was a miracle!!! Hope it works for you. I think they make other products for that, too.
I was happy and satisfied to discover that my Screme Egg was zombie green on the inside. I thought they'd cheap out and just re-package unsold Easter Eggs, but Cadbury pulled through for me. Bliss.

Marnie just got back from her first (half) day at daycare - she had a roaring good time... despite looking at me like I betrayed her when I left her there.
And it's her first day back at gymnastics today, too. What an exciting day for my big girl. It's a bit of a bittersweet feeling that she's getting so big and independent. (
DS is throwing his ball to pay fetch with the great Dane, Maeby. Maeby is either watching the ball hit her side or roll pay her and then watching DS fetch it. One 2 year old has tricked another into playing fetch with himself.
@jennhillhoite my DS just throws. And throws. And throws some more. For 15 months he has a GOOD arm. Unfortunately, nothing we do is deterring him from throwing. My dog would love it if he threw him toys. But no, my DS just wants to chew on dog toys when he his hands on them. Go figure. That's little boys for ya. 8-}
@PeaceofKia I needed a Dr. Google intervention this weekend laying there in the hospital. Just relax and take it easy this week. They prolly already told you this, but lay on your left side as much as possible which will help lower your blood pressure. I am sending some positive vibes your way!
@PeaceofKia - T&Ps coming your way!! I hope yuo and your twinsies are able to settle in and get some rest.
