@pshaortao I'm sorry. ((Hugs)) I hope LO crashes, soon!!!
Ugh for DD1 growth spurt maybe? I think that's happening. It's like I'm living with a wolf!! I'm so scared!! Lol she's like a wild animal. She wants ALL the food! And LO has finally been letting me swaddle her! And it's so freaking adorable. A teensy, lovable burrito!! ((cuddles))
just got a solid stretch of sleep after a few days of lo waking every 2hrs. AND she's still chugging lots of milk. I'm a very happy, though still sleep deprived, momma. She just ate anothet big bottle (for us) and is back down. I'm praying this is turning point with her eating.
Well a transformer blew right outside our complex so no power for us which means no TV and barely any internet. I am not happy. And of course LO chooses tonight to not go right back to sleep after eating. Please child, not now. I'm tired and there's no entertainment.

Yup dh handed the boy over when he woke up, I fed and he (dh) went right back to sleep on the couch. Of course the lo was wide awake so I've been trying my damnedest to stay awake with him for the last almost 2 hours. Hopefully after he's done eating this time I can toss him in his bed and sleep for a few hours until dd2 gets in my bed. And fingers crossed that both of the tiny humans will sleep in. Oh as well as dh having a shitty day at work.
The only way he's been going to sleep is after screong bloody murder. No winding up or down just massive scraming then he suddenly stops and falls asleep. Is this normal!? I wonder if his reflux meds need to be upped...
After dealing with insurance people, my crazy son, the apartment people who won't fix anything, the doctors office, and the in laws, all on virtually no sleep, I wasn't exactly in the mood to fool around when we got home tonight.
Yet, DH was butt hurt when I flat out told him no. I'm sorry I'm tired trying to deal with all this shit. The last thing I need is him around me right now. (When I'm in a bad mood, it's best to just leave me alone and let it pass. Then I'll come back and be just fine.) DH seems to forget that every time. I'm also seemingly having supply issues, so I'm upset about that too.
I tried to let him down gently all evening, but he wouldn't listen, so I had to let him have it with a flat out "no, I'm tired and I don't feel good, and I want to go to bed."
After he got home from the gym, he took his frustration out on me by telling me that I don't do a GD thing around the apartment to clean it. No, I didn't get to do the dishes today for the aforementioned reasons, but at least I do them. That's more than I can say for his ass.
@CUBBIESMAMA3 uhh! Sorry girl. I'm really tired and can't think of anything useful to say!! My DH can be like that too. I'm really sorry! Even when I know he's being wrong, it makes me feel shitty. I actually do everything except the dishes here! and he still bitches.

My lo does this. I just figured it's her fighting sleep. She squeals on the boob to stay awake too and pulls her ears. It's not every night, and I laugh when she does it. I know she's about to pass out so I go with it.
I'm exhausted. LO slept fine but I'm sleeping like crap.
@CUBBIESMAMA3 my DH can get like that too. I get mad but then let it roll off my back because I know if it were him SAHM the house would be ten times worse and he would never have dinner made.

My 2 yr old does this and has since she was born. You just have a screamer. It really sucks.
I went to find AL mommas and that board is DEAD and needs to be buried. LO kneed my hand and I clicked something on accident, logged out, and got lost in the bump-iverse again.... Ugh. I clawed my way back. You my bishes!
Why have the last 2 nights been so difficult! DS really needs to start doing longer stretches than 2 hours! Going back to work in 2 weeks is going to be even harder with him deciding to not sleep!

I'm doing a happy dance right now! DD slept from 8pm to 5:20am. I actually had to wake her up to nurse before I go to work. Holy hell do my boobs hurt, but I really hope this continues
Holy hell! Everything that I have been doing to increase my supply has apparently worked. LO slept almost 5 hours and I hurt.
What did you do to increase your supply? I'm having a little trouble with mine.
I'm eating lactation cookies and lots of oatmeal, which I add in brewer's yeast. I also drink 120 oz of water. I try to pump after each nursing session, that really seemed to help.
I want to find the 10 week sleep fairy and sprinkle her all over DS a little more! We are getting 5-6 hour stretches for the past three nights! This is a child who rarely would get to three!!!
Having a late September baby is like being that kid in highschool who was last to turn 16 when all the other kids were already learning to drive. So happy for those getting long stretches of sleep, but sooo jealous!!!
Last night we were up every 2 hours when we tried the crib. Tonight I put him back in the rnp and he slept 7 hours! So.... Screw the crib, lol. We will just wait a little longer I think. So happy for some dang sleep!

Our LO was born mid August and we're still on orders to feed her every 3 hours until her December (4mo) check up. So I feel your pain and jealousy. One of these days we'll get to sleep ourselves more than 2 hours.

My DS was born 9/4 and he still only does 2 hours at night. He sometimes does a 3-4 hour stretch but hasn't the last few nights.

I don't feel so alone now... *lays down and cries* LO has given maybe 2 longer stretches of sleep. We look at 3 hours average.... The other night I heard her cry and dreamt I got up, fixed her bottle, changed her, yada yada. And I heard her cry again. And woke up still in the freaking bed!
I got two 3.5 hour stretches last night. That is rare around here. She's normally up every two hours. The night before, she was up from 2 am till 7 am, roughly. Thank God I'm still on my mat leave, or I would have had to call in. Crying, fussing, gassy, hungry but wouldn't eat. It was a rough night for us all.
My night isn't looking too promising... the pedi wants me to try LO on isomil. I don't have a way to get any today, so we wait....and scream....until tomorrow... Hopefully (FX) this does the trick!!
