So this has been our worst night yet. Everything started out ok and turned to shit after about 90 minutes of sleep. I think someone is beginning a growth spurt and wants to snack every hour it seems. Ok. I get it. But seriously don't bf for 3 minutes and then go completely unconscious. That tells me you're done. Repeat this every hour all freaking night while being restless for said hour and then I have an inconsolable boy at 4am because he's starving and won't latch.

He finally decided to latch on after some negotiation and has been gulping like he's never eaten before for nearly 30 minutes. Usually he's done within 15. Now because of the gulping, I'm sure I'll have a gassy guy to contend with and I have to get the older kids up and ready for school in 30 minutes.

Oh, and dh sleeps through all of this. Thanks, jackhole.

This whole leap thing is seriously frustrating. I'm sore from the way I "slept" last night...I propped myself in such a way I wouldn't roll over on to DD...and I didn't sleep much anyway for fear of rolling on her. I wish she'd just sleep in her crib again.

Debating how I want to go about this tonight.

Also, I could have punched DH earlier. He told me that last night was the best he's slept in 5 weeks. Yeah. Great. Thanks. That's b/c I slept with DD in the guest room and he didn't hear her when she woke up.

Well after an AWFUL night last night LO is asleep, but instead I'm sitting in the den holding DD1 whose temp was 102.9!! I was frantic and told shithead, sorry DH, and he rolled over and said give her Tylenol. Why didnt I think of that? Dumb ass. Thank you LO for sleeping good tonight!!

Little one slept a bit too much today would hardly wake up, now she was up from 10 to 1 now I am trying to get her asleep in bassinet but no luck so far.

Almost bedtime here. Yay!! I'm feeling sad tonight as tomorrow my little guy has his circumcision. I may just cry more than him. I spent tonight cuddling him and will probably do the same all day tomorrow.

On another note, holy cow little one!!! Someone is causing me so much pain during let down I am about in tears! It only lasts a few seconds but it's intense. Guess that's my signal that he's getting plenty of grub.

This is something i was talking to my dh about today. I think it will all be less frustrating and rewarding for us a he shows us his personality more.

MOTN feeding 1 for us. I hope it's not like last night when he was up every 90 mins.
He slept most the day but was up just hanging out from 6 to 9 last night.
I fed him at 9 & he straight up projectile vomited everywhere. So now I'm trying to force him to eat a little slower and propping him up for 10 mins after he finishes a side

@brittneyandadam‌ I'm with ya on the frustrating leap! I love holding and cuddling him, but even I can't do it 24-7, dude. Clingy is an understatement.

Tonight isn't unbearable. But I ended up sleeping in B's room in the "guest" bed. I'm tired, it's taking him forever to eat. I've never heard of a leap before until I saw it someone mention it on here, I looked it up and I guess that's what he's going through with all this clingy and crying nonsense. I don't remember DD doing this but I feel like I've been hit by a bus, it seriously taking a toll on me, let's hurry up and get through this.

Up for first time....LO went down at 10:30 first wake up at 3:00... I'll take it! 2nd night in a row for this. Fed him 4 ounces and he's back out. Hoping to get to at least 5:30. and Ds2 is still out. Hoping he makes it pat his habitual waking at 3:30.

This is my first overnight alone bc both DH and MIL are away. I'm grateful for a good night! Hoping this is the start of a new trend now that we are settled on Alimentum.

I dreamed I was feeding LO when she let out this huge cry from the pack and play and woke me. I almost jumped out of bed. I was disappointed to find out I hadn't even started the feeding yet.

He just fell asleep. After I had to fight him to stay awake to eat for an entire hour, he decided to be wide awake after finishing for an hour. Now I have a whole hour before I have to try to get him to eat again. I may as well just stay up. I've gottn no sleep from 1am to 5Am every night since we've been home. I really will not miss this newborn phase. At all.

Just woke up for first MOTN feed here. LO barely slept all day, so I guess that is why he slept such a stretch tonight. I guess his congestion is going away, though, because I woke up twice to check on him breathing because he was conked out so hard and not making snotty sounds in his sleep.

First night after gallbladder surgery and DH is doing an amazing job. So is LO! We've been having bad nights lately with him up for for 3-4 hour stretches sometimes starting at 11! Tonight he's been sleeping. The minute he starts to stir or I'm first woken up by his noisy stretching or him just making noise still half asleep I get DH up to start the routine of getting the bottle ready, change and feed and he's going back to sleep!!!

I was so worried DH was gonna have a rough night, but so far so good!

And I agree with some of the ladies and their little ones coo-ing! It's making this a little better and I'm loving him even more. It's the most adorable thing!

We've been up since 1230, it's now 430. I thought she was asleep at 230, but she was up again at 3. So tired. What happened to my sleep baby. She will only sleep on me. I move, she's awake. And H is working. He won't be home until Thursday afternoon. (

2nd motn feed for us. He was so ornery today and barely napped, I really hoped he would have slept longer tonight. Oh well. He had some major gas we were able to work out, so he seems happier. I need about 8 more hours of sleep. Also it would be nice if I could reach my water.

This MOTN has been going on for over an hour and a half... Not fun. LO had an early blow out, pj change and all. The new pj's I tried putting on her had cherries on it...for some reason that really bothered me. Totally blaming that on lack of sleep.

I sing to DD as a part of the bed time routine I'm trying to implement....and in the middle of a song, still awake, she smiled. I almost cried.

She's finally asleep now...I'm going to try to set her in her crib again in a minute. Hopefully she'll go back to sleeping in there and I can go back to sleeping in bed with DH. The guest bed is killing my back.

She lasted a half hour...I got 30 wonderful minutes of snuggles with DH. Back in the guest room.

Epic EPIC breakdown here. DH finally broke down and let me call my sister back to the house at 1045 to watch LO time. I still can not hold him because of my incisions from my gallbladder surgery so DH has been taking care of LO for the past two nights. He's exhausted. Will not nap during the day. He had a break down with LO at about 930-10. Trying to force him to sleep both were about to kill each other I think.

DH is in bed. I got LO asleep in rnp. Sister on the way. Percocet tabs calling my name as soon as shes situated for the night. And maybe some sleep.

My baby boy had his circumcision today. I feel awful for him. He's doing fine and just sleeping but I'm so sad for him. ( Damn dh for being so worried about the troubles his dad had and insisting it be done. I wasn't against it until afterwards now I have so much guilt because he's so precious. I know it will be fine in a day or so but he's so small and seeing him hurting is so sad. I'm just going to snuggle and love on him until he feels better. I'm hoping things don't go completely south and we can have a somewhat decent night.

I called my mom today and pleaded. Send someone, anyone!! Little sis is hanging out in the den. I think poor LO has colic. And I think I might be at my freaking wits end!!

@1983lindsey thank you! I think we are on the up swing. He's got a good bottle in and burps with auntie. Now he's sleeping on her chest. She's the best little sister in the world. She means everything to me. I think I'm on the upswing too of recovery. Little to no pain today and very little soreness. Almost done and ready to feel like a human again.

@str13 hang in there momma. Nothing wrong with stepping back and getting that help. We all need it. Take a breather and see where you can start again with getting baby what they need. A second hand or set of eyes will give much needed help. Good luck. Thinking of you guys tonight!

I feel terrible conplaing when a lot of you other moms are having rough nights
Lo decided today would be even morr fun if he got up every 60mins to eat. Sometines for only one side 5mins.

Tonighy he ate on and off from 9 to 11. I got to sleeo from 11:30 to 12:15. He ate now getting ready to rock him and get him back to bed.

I just don't know....if i have feedings where he eats for 5 mins on one side.... Do i just try and have him only on stop, do i try and wake him to eat more? what side do i start gim w tge next pumping situated
