I feel like as ass, apparently I put DH's work clothes in the dryer last night, but didn't start it.  Oops. Also, my legs and ankles are killing me tonight.  I don't know if I need a new snoogle (the one I'm using is flat from my last pregnancy) or if I've just been sleeping poorly.  I just pulled one of DH's pillows under my knees, hopefully that will help.  Meanwhile, DS is getting noisy flopping around and breathing heavily in his room. Meh had better not be waking up at 5am today.

It's almost 630, I have been up since 530, but I don't have to be up at all. Lame, but dh's lunch is packed and coffee made.

oooh! And I am getting a haircut today! It's down the middle of my back, but I think I'm getting it cut just below my chin with some fun color.

I have a regular OB check up today, and though I have no reason to be nervous this pregnancy, I am! At least it's nice and early so I don't have to be anxious all day! Also, I got a half day sub, so it'll be a nice Friday for me!

MH is watching his brother's dog at their house this weekend. I love animals but hate their dog. I just can't love it. We have a party this Sat and he said he can't leave the dog for more than 3 hrs. You freaking kidding me!!

OK so last night I had this weird ass dream.

Keep in mind I haven't watched True Blood in like Two years. Anyway me and the guy who plays jason stackhouse where doing the nasty, the whole time everytime he'd speak it was my husbands voice. Not only was it my husbands voice but it was the way my husband talks to. Well I don't know if the nasty buisness ended or what but next thing I know I'm with my stepmom who teaching me to work the tv and puts the smurfs cartoon on for me to watch.

This morning I'm 19 weeks exactly and read this is around the time baby can start to hear you. I told DH while we were laying in bed waiting for DD to come climb in with us. To my surprise he started talking to my belly and rubbed his hands all over to see if he could feel him moving around! He was saying I love you and please don't give Mommy's back such a hard time today and other randoms. I cried and he couldn't understand why. It was just the sweetest way to wake up.

I'm dragging today. My husband didn't come home until 10:30pm, then chatted my ear off (while having a few beers, the heartless cad) until 1am. He's in the middle of job hunting/angst at work, so I'm happy to listen since I was just where he was last year. But my body's all, "Yeah, no."

I left work a little early this am. I had just finished eating a cup of Quaker oats & I felt a tickle/cough like I had an oat stuck. Next thing I know, I am barfing all over myself @-)
Fortunately, there is a garbage can under thedesk, and my tech ran to the floors & found me fresh pants. Gross.
Note to self, this baby hates oatmeal.

OOOOHHH, I'm so full of random today!!

First one of the day...a MINI-RANT.

I specifically told BD (acronym for baby daddy right? lol) to let me know BEFORE Friday if I were going to have to meet him halfway for him to have DD this weekend. Of course it's now Friday morning, I've heard nothing and have nothing prepared for her because he's known for falling through. I promise ya'll if he texts me today saying meet me halfway, I'm telling him to make that 3 hour drive on his own or don't even bother because I don't do last minute. It's not my job to make you be a dad. She's got MH for that thank goodness. Ugh. Worst part is, if he falls through DD will most likely be devastated like she is every time he messes up. I hate that he puts her through that. Don't make promises you can't keep jerk, she's 6 y/o for Christ's sake.

I'm exhausted. I've been having the same fatigue some of you mentioned. Haven't been this tired since 1st tri. Doesn't help that it's super busy at work lately.

Sigh...I slept like horse piss. My asthma was so bad I was wheezing, I got up three times to pee and each time my bladder was so full it hurt and felt like I was dying and my back hurt so flippin bad that I used a heating pad all night. I was constantly worrying if it was ok to use. I got up immediately this morning to down some cold juice to try to get baby to move. Nothing yet.

The day has arrived! On my way to visit my family in South Africa! We are heading over for my grandpa's 90th Birthday and I am so excited to see my family (and to be off work for 2+ weeks). I'm sad my sweet husband isn't coming with and I'm butt hurt because he didn't want to have sex this morning!
I will have limited wi-fi access, so I hope I don't miss too much
I'm gonna miss my bumpies! Wish me luck on my enormously long flight!

DD usually sleeps until 7:30/8 but this morning she woke up (as she often does) just fussing a little at 6:30. DH went in and got her...she's exhausted, was not ready to be awake, and super grumpy. Thanks for the "help" honey!

DH took my phone with him to work today, along with his phone.  Admittedly, they are the same, just different colors, but dammit!  I thought I was going crazy this morning when I couldn't find it.

we bought a new daybed to replace the futon we currently use as our guest bed like 3 weeks ago. It was supposed to be delivered 'sometime this week' - welp it is now friday and still no bed. My SIL and 2 nieces are coming to visit Tuesday morning. We sold the futon last night. If this stupid daybed doesn't get delivered this weekend I have no idea where we are supposed to put 1 adult and 2 kids - we only have 1 twin size air mattress.

Ohhh I forgot! Last night the baby was squirming like crazy and DH was actually able to feel it! This is earlier he he could feel DD, I have a feeling this is going to be my wild child.

I had a horrible dream that Ella was kidnapped. It was the worst thing ever. I woke up at 3:30 in a cold sweat and couldn't fall back to sleep for the longest time.

A teacher at work left me a cupcake on my desk! She specially bought it for me it had its own plastic container.

I almost cried it was so nice of her. Custodians never get noticed unless we forget to do something. Just that little thank you made the start of my day.

MFM office just called...20 minutes before we're ready to leave...and cancelled my anatomy scan because an ultrasound tech called out two days in a row. When asked why it was my appointment that was being rescheduled, the response was "well you're not the only one...that's just the way the timing worked out." Well THAT"S professional. I'm too tired to argue with them because they're just being stubborn and trying to rush me off the phone. They can't get me in today because there's no doc there this afternoon. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. We have to wait til Monday to see LO.

NOW I HAVE TO CANCEL MY PARTY! (  

@mandamoochie can you guess whose office was doing my scan?

Your comment made me LOL @chickenonsunday. When I was pregnant with DD, I actually called the hospital where I was having my anatomy scan done and asked if I needed a full bladded for my appointment. The woman who answered the phone laughed at me and said "no." Now, when I get the recorded calls to confirm my ultrasound appointments, the recording says "please note a full bladder is not needed for your appointment."

So, yesterday, they misplaced my file while I was at my OB and no one came to get me to prick my finger after my one hour for the glucose thing.  Being a FTM, I didn't know I should go look for someone.  DH and I got to talking after our A/S and before I knew it, it had been 30 mins since the timer had gone off.  So I did go find someone, they tested me and it came out at 138.  Still ok, but they wanted to re-test.  SO, I drank that drink again at 6:15 this AM so I could get there at 7:15 to have my finger pricked and still get to work by 7:30.  Everything went great, my number today was 86, so I'm very happy about that.  BUT drinking that thing on a very empty stomach made me so nauseous.  Thank you carbs for helping me out this AM!
