DH and I have been watching The Newsroom season 2. Ever since having Ella I cannot watch anything bad, sad, scary, etc involving children.  

**spoiler alert**

Well Im just going along enjoying our show as always and this episode was almost entirely about a little boy getting shot in an African orphanage!! A boy that a character bonds with, and reads with, and I'm sitting there thinking "awww that's how I read to Ella, letting her learn the words" and then he ends up dying. I am a fucking ball of tears and cannot stop thinking about poor little children all over the world have to live their life like this every.single.day. This is why I can't watch the news. Shit like this. Gah I am just an ugly crying mess. 

And then DH says he has a work call in ten minutes and can't stay to hold me as I bawl into his shoulder. 

Thanks for listening, I needed to get that out.

I keep waiting for that coincidence thread to really blow up, and I'm disappointed.

Also, I just hemmed and hawed for 15 minutes about Facebook pm-ing an old co-worker about her 9 month old's forward facing car seat. I finally sent the message. I have a patient who lost a child from internal decapitation in a severe car accident. I tried to say it really nice and apologized for overstepping multiple times, but it's not really my style to do that and I kind of judge myself.

I'm treating this thread like my personal FFFC

I remember how awful That episode was! Shit gets so much more real when you have kids.

@chickenhawke and @kismetjess THANK YOU for making me feel not crazy. I knew it was coming the whole damn time and I seriously felt like I held my breath the whole episode. I probably should've just told DH to watch the rest without me and tell me what happened.

I really hope I don't dream about that tonight.

In cuter news, since switching DS to a toddler bed he holds out of bed, goes in his closet, grabs a toy and gets back in bed. I walked upstairs and told him to go to bed so he laid down and the his covets over his legs. I barely made it out of eye sight when I heard the toy going again. He's so funny.

@jmcgra06‌, it's hard to tell people that they're wrong but she may not know the dangers of front facing infant carriers or that her child was in danger and if she did know then obviously she needed to be reminded. Cat seat safety is life or death if a crash happens so it's very important.

Phew - she just messaged me back and said someone else told her the same thing and she didn't realize so I feel better. Car accidents scare the crap out of me. I wonder if our kids can take their driver's test rear facing..? Kidding. Sort of.

Dang, I missed the Grey's talk. I've been biding my time between new episodes binge watching old episodes in order starting from season 1. I'm on season 4 right now. It may or may not be the only reason I'm paying for a hulu plus account  8-|

After I had it for what feels like the 86th time so far, I'm finally willing to admit: I'm having official pregnancy cravings for salsa verde! OMG, inhaling cheese enchiladas smothered in slightly spicy and sour green sauce. My mouth is so happy right now! =P~

Oh just to address a possible friendship ending-comment. @kkleigh10 I hate the Patriots with the fires of a thousand suns, but I eat, breathe and sleep the Sox, Celts and Bruins. I know....most of my friends think I'm cray too. Hope we can still love each other. I blame my Dad growing up in Southern CT in the 60s when the Giants were the closest team he had. It just stuck.
