Phew! I think I've caught up on the Ray Rice, Paizlee, crazy MIL talk, and more chit chat!
In other news, I'm watching the local news and they just found the body of a 50 y/o man that has been missing for 10 years. TEN YEARS! Guess where they found him?! Burried in a shallow grave in him and his wife's front yard. Hmmmmm.
Anyways, is it too soon to start a count down to Friday?

@foxslaw I applaud your comments on the 'coincidence' post. I read her post and immediately clicked out and was like shattttappppp. But of course I ran back to read all the comments and literally LOLed.
@sugahcookie01 sorry that happened to you! We have a student at my school who freshman year pulled a knife on a kid. He was expelled for all of his sophomore year. He came back junior year and ended up in my physics class. It was my first year, so I didn't know this about the kid then. Well, he became very threatening and got lots of referrals so they kicked him out again. Just when I thought I would never see him again, guess who is in the halls? Omg. I don't have him this year (now his senior) but his girlfriend is in my class so he shows up to my class. And he has already made a threatening comment to me in only the first week! Seriously....how many strikes before someone finally says enough??
My random, my DH just asked me if it is safe for me to go to the movies. "Well, it's not too loud for the baby or anything"..... Awww I love him.
Sorry I have been such a bitter Betty today, guys. Didn't realize how hard I raged until I read over everything.
For what it's worth, @foxslaw, I thought your comment to "Do it for the nerds!" was the best one yet. You don't often think about those kinds of sacrifices that people make to get into their field of expertise. I think you get comment of the day for that one.
Thanks @thegoodpotato . What can I say, I watch a lot of Grey's Anatomy so I know a lot about doctors.
Also medicine. I practically have an MD after 10 seasons.
My nose is burning and raw from blowing it so much... Boo to the relentless back to school cold...

I'm pregnant (duh) My boyfriend's aunt is pregnant The aunt I just mentioned....her son (so my bf's cousin) and his gf just announced that they are pregnant! She's 19. Imagine being pregnant at the same time with your (basically) MIL. Idk, I just thought that was a little funny/strange?
Alex, Meredith, Derek, Bailey, and Webber are the only original cast members left. I think it's totally worth watching/catching up on. They have created a really amazing cast of diverse characters.
Yeah, it's just different! I think it's still pretty good, though. The show matured a little bit as the characters get older. Their priorities change more to families & trying to have it all & what it means to be successful etc etc
@foxslaw, an uncle or aunt and his or her niece or nephew will grow up like cousins. It sounds crazy but my oldest cousin is mid- 50's woke my youngest uncle is late 40's. It is weird growing up calling am adult by their first name because they're your cousin but calling a teen uncle.

Omg now I just want to talk about it!! Can't wait for sept 25!!!!
Good point! I just feel like being pregnant at the same time as my MIL would be strange to me. The process of pregnancy & it's hard enough feeling validated (as in dealing with all the stigma) as a young mom (which I am too, I'm 23). I just know I would feel weird about it? Maybe that's judgemental, idk. It's not like I disapprove, just never been around that type of situation. I guess I was raised super WASPy, so it just seems really foreign to me? @jennhillhoite
@foxslaw, I would never want to do it but mostly because my MIL can be BSC when it comes to emotional anything. It might be fun for them now when they go shopping for baby stuff they can look for themselves and each other. It seems like s blast to go kid shopping and grandkid doing at the same time.
I cannot wait! @foxslaw, I am also a forever fan of Greys, kind of feel like they are my babies. I cried to much last season, I'm going to be a mess this season. Also I am loving Scandal! @chickenhawke - Shondaland
I test drove a mini van tonight and I'm kind of in love! As FTM it's more room then we need right now, but were hoping for more babies so we will have plenty of room to grow. DH has wanted a mini van before we were even married so he's super excited I'm on board! Going to make an offer tomorrow.
I seriously just had a facebook argument about why it is appropriate for Rice to have been cut. This WOMAN and MOTHER thinks it was fine to do because "she started it" and "deserved it" and wants Rice brought back.

We are looking at vans too! Which did you test? I like the Odyssey most I think.

It was an Odyssey! I've never personally owned a Honda but my step-dad, mom, 2 sisters and a SIL all drive them. 2 of them drive Odysseys and I think they are both on their second one. I drive a 12 year old Cavalier now, so it seemed like pure luxury to me! It's a used one, but low mileage and well taken care of!

Aww, I misread at first that you test drove a Mini (like Mini Cooper) and was SO excited, because that's what I drive and I'm adamant/misguided that I'll continue to do so after having our second kid. I love driving it so much... do they make a Mini mini-van?

Cool! I've never had a Honda either. We got a new pathfinder when DD was born and then a year later I got a new job in town, and DH works from home so we didn't need two high car payments. I drive DHs F150 daily. Its great, but with another lo on the way, I need extra space! Never saw myself as a van person, but they are so reasonable!

Except I miss Kate Walsh! Although, I can't wait to see her in that new show, Bad Judge I think. I think it's competing with Grey's. DVR!
