@VAinNYC Thank you! I'm posting an update today because I don't know if there will be time during this super crazy busy week….and I don't want to be a slacker sweet pea.

Today was my CD5 BW/US. E2 was a whopping 127 (from 5 just 5 days ago). Since someone said she likes to hear specific numbers, here goes:

13 follicles

Right side: (measures in mm) 7.5, 6.3, 5.9, 5.3, 5.1, 5.0

Left side: 9.5, 7.5, 7.2, 6.7, 6.0, 5.7, 5.3

Pretty happy that most are close in size…Lining is 6.5 (hopefully up to 10 at next visit). Same stims (20 Lupron am/pm, 150 Menopur am/75 Menopur pm, 75 Gonal am/150 Gonal pm)

Going back on Wed. for more BW/US and hopefully more growing follies! Best wishes to all of you ladies that are stimming along with me…Congrats in to those PUPO, Hugs to those who need it.

Hello, I would like to join for September. I just had my retrieval on Friday, of which they got 10 eggs. 9 fertilized and my transfer is Wednesday. Fingers crossed - this is my 4th fresh cycle, with 2 FETs in there. However 3rd with this RE so 3rd time's a charm!

FET after a chemical pregnancy last month. I'm only on estrogen for now and will be upping that dose and then adding progesterone.

My issue us that on the day of transfer my doctor offers Valium to ease uterine contractions but I won't be able to take it because I have to drive myself. I just don't know how many hoops to jump through to get a ride. My wife was able to take off last time but she isn't in a job that makes that easy and the clinic is an hour South of me so a cab isn't ideal. I'd prefer not to let anyone else know that we are cycling. But I don't want to lessen my chances of getting pregnant either.

@BostonGayGal of course we'll take you! I'm sorry that you are having troubles getting this to work out. It sucks that we all work so hard to make our bodies do what they should. We all have jobs and scheduling around then is so hard. I may have to ask a friend for a ride after my ET as well because my hubby recently started a new job and doesn't have days to take off work.

@marianass I know exactly how you feel.  I had the exact same thing happen to me last month with no fertilization.  It's just not something I expected and I was completely devastated.  I'm sending you all the hugs in the world and hope you feel better soon.

AFM, I'm on CD7 and day 5 of stimms.  My next scan is Wednesday afternoon and I'm really hoping for at least 10 follies so that I know I'll get more or less the same amount of eggs as last month.  But I'm trying not to get ahead of myself. So we'll see.

I have a question though...  Last month I was on Femara tablets from CD3 - CD7 and Menopur injections on CD4, CD6 and CD8.  ER was on CD13.

This month the Menopur shots stay the same, but the Femara was changed to CD3 - CD10.  So my question is, when do you think ER will be?  And does the fact that the Femara is taken for a longer period mean more eggs or just better quality eggs?  I've been wondering about this and can only ask my RE when I see him again on Wednesday.

Well, I did it. I POAS this morning. I am 4dp5dt and it was BFN. I can't believe I broke down and did that. Now, I am freaking out that its going to be BFN all the way through. I even took the test apart to see if I could see anything. NADA! This is my 3rd 2ww and I should have known better....but people have gotten BFP on 4dp5dt. Its like that scene from Dumb and Dumber.. "so you're saying' theres a chance". UGH. Day Ruined. All I can think about is the desperation and disappointment from my two previous cycles. Doubt is starting to creep in.

Me: 33 mild PCOS, Polyps removed (no scarring)

DH: 39 Lazy sperm

4 or 5 IUI's with clomid - BFN (lost count at this point)

IVF#1-  FEB 2014 (ICSI) BFP on 5dpfresh5dt. Heartbeat 120 @ 4weeks! M/C 9 weeks, 3 Days. Natural miss-carriage. No tests able to be done. Heartbroken. 

IVF#2 - FET. 2 beautiful day 5 blastocysts.  BFP on Beta only. Negative on all FRER. Beta #1 - 6.2.  Beta #2 - 7.  Conclusion - Chemical Pregnancy. 

IVF#3 - FET # 2  Transfered 2- 5day blasts. 9/4. currently in the 2ww. 

1 snow baby left.

@CRMhoney yes, some people get a BFP that early, but it is not common. Don't beat yourself up. In my personal opinion, you should wait a few more days and then retest. {{{Big hugs}}}

@BostonGayGal ...  I've gone through two ET's without valium.  Both of my transferred embryos stuck after the first ET (lost later on).   If the valium is so important to your RE, perhaps you can take it as soon as you get home.

Hello all! I got a call this morning... 7 of the 10 eggs retrieved yesterday are mature. So 7 will be frozen. I was hoping for more. I had 14 follicles during stims. I am just hoping for the best when they come out of the freeze in 3 months!

Had my baseline today and I had 2 small cysts, but neither is producing estrogen, so we are good to go.  Start lupron on Wednesday and then stims on Friday.

@ronniesgirl1981‌ - I had a pretty big cyst all through my stims. The doc took care of it when I had the retrieval yesterday.

I had my transfer today and am officially Pupo! One beautiful aa blast was transfered. My doc says it was already starting to hatch which is a good sign, and I have 9 others to freeze. Now the waiting begins...

@CRMhoney‌ fx for you for a good beta, I have a hard time staying away from poas too but sounds like you are still pretty early to read anything into that.

Hi all! My ER is scheduled for this Thursday. @turquoisequeen How about you?

My checkups have been fine so far. On Day 10 of stimming, I don't have a ton of follicles (as expected given my surgeries on both ovaries), but I'm really hoping the egg quality is ok. 

I've got 13 follicles, but some are so small that it looks like I'm really working with 8 follicles total. Everything else seems to be on track. The surface of my stomach is a hot mess though! Who knew bruises came in so many colors? Looks worse than it feels at least.

I had my check-up 3DP ER today and everything is looking good! I still have a fair amount of discomfort and fluid in my abdomen but nothing pointing to OHSS yet and my RE is okay with us doing a 5 day transfer. Yay! The best part was that she waited until the end of the appointment to check with the lab to see our embryos. We had 27 retrieved on Friday and 21 of those fertilized. As of this morning, we still had ALL 21 hanging in there! I'm not dumb and I know we'll be lucky to have 1/2 (or even 1/3) of those on day 5, but I totally wanted to high five my RE in that moment. She says 9 of them look excellent and the rest are so-so and could go either way. Now I just have to stay calm and relaxed til Wednesday at 11am!

Thank you for all the positive vibes!! This group is HUGE and I love that I feel like I have a great big hug wrapped around me!! I am loving reading about all the upcoming transfers and retrievals!! Now, if only we could get insurance companies to notice that IVF is not truly elective!! I would love to get preggo after a good roll in the hay, but my body just isn't built that way. I could go on and on about insurance but my boss is lurking (as always). Big HUGS to everyone in our group!!!

Estrogen came back at 982 and progesterone at 42, so we are on for transfer Friday! I was so relieved I cried. I know there is still a long road ahead, but this step has been cleared.
