@amjoy25 does poppa G love me with dyed hair? Does he care about the length of my pubic hair? is he like 100% au naturale or GTFO? Are these good questions for 1-800-FINDTRUTH?
So, now bumpies are like "how does amjoy know so much about the Lord". You won't flame me for this but you will flame the business I work for.
So, last week I went to a "leadership conference" for 2 days. I thought this will be cool, I can learn more about being a leader. It was held at a church. Hum, ok, maybe Yuma is low on places to hold such events (which was naive of me to think). I get there, and it's called the Global Leadership Summit. https://www.willowcreek.com/events/leadership/. It is Christians talking about leadership, interspersed with Christian songs, hallelujah arms, preachers preaching about living your life for God and leading in His honor.
Cut to amjoy's face.
The. Whole. Time.
I refused to stand and sing the hymns, I refused to pray, I refused to take the Lord into my heart as my Lord and savior. Oy. #sorryCarrietbutIacceptyouintomyheartasmyLBsavior
On the plus side, I did get to hear some awesome and inspiring speeches by some really articulate, intelligent speakers....who were not trying to cram the Lord down my throat...like the author of Crucial Conversations.
TL;DR amjoy's job made her go to church for 2 days last week. She was hot in there.
I have one...I judge women who say they are Christians and therefore are supposed to live their life for the Lord, yet have plastic surgery. This makes no sense. If you are truly living your life for the Lord, and the Lord loves you how you are, then what's with the plastic? I don't know much about the Bible, and maybe I am showing that now, but I've dated a few guys who were super religious, and they always contended that the body was a temple and should not be defiled. I guess times are more modern now, but I still don't get it. (And I fully believe people can do with their body what they want...but I am free to judge them. Heh heh.)
Case in point: a have a friend from HS, who had a small chest. She is all about praising the Lord, as well as her husband, and HE wanted her to get bigger breasts. Doesn't sound very Christian to me.
But what do I know? /rant.
TL;DR amjoy thinks God loves you without plastic boobs.
I feel this way about people who claim to be so religious and don't give a crap about the environment.
I have my own personal beliefs, but just want to throw out there ... that whole your body is a temple thing? The context of that verse is sexual immorality ... just in case anyone was wondering. (1 Corinth 6)

lol did they not give you that link before you went? I can't imagine they would try to trick you into something like that.
At least you got some good out it and was able to enjoy some speakers
:-bd
Yeah, no. I was told nothing about it other than it's a leadership conference. Even if I was a Christian, its is inappropriate for a business to send me there.

I didn't claim that these guys were the brightest bulb in the drawer. #seewhatIdidthere
i daydream about working at macy's for the discount.
I used to work
for them. It was my favorite place to work ever. However, I did not work on the retail side. I got the discount though.
i buy most my furniture from macy's. i would've saved a buttload of cash to get a PT job there...i don't see any major purchases coming up, but i still think about how nice it would be.....i'd buy a kitchenaid mixer now. and #allthekitchenthings
What about non-Christians that don't give a crap about the environment and/or other people? I hate that so many Christians can make a bad name for ALL Christians just because they don't have their shit together, but seriously, how many people in general have their shit together?
I'm not trying to defend those people or condone their actions. All I know is that Jesus taught us to love and I'm doing my best to try to live how I think He wants me to, but I'm not perfect, no one is.
Well, I learned in church last week, that Christians have a responsibility to care for others not just themselves. WHAT I LEARNED IN CHURCH MUST BE TRUE!!! Or I wasted my time. Non-Christians don't have the cross to bear. #seewhatIdidthere
I get irritated that Clifford is on at 7am when I'm getting ready and Peg + Cat isn't on until 9am. I hate that big ass dog. Moreover, all of his dog friends are whiny buttholes. AND they use Comic Sans font.

I loved this simply for "moreover". Using our words today are we bumpies?
1) We had a meeting at work this morning about how busy we all are (I have worked more than 14 hours a day all week) before this deadline. Yet, here I sit bumping.
2) I skipped pages 2 and 3 of this post, and I think I missed something big, but I am too lazy to read two pages in one sitting today.
3) Not a FFFC - But I met @crunchymama11 in my dreams last night! I was panicking yesterday because I thought my milk was drying up, so I am thinking that had something to do with it. In my dream I was in a parking lot carrying DD and there was a lady in the parking lot giving her DD (older daughter, not baby) a granola bar. I walked up and asked her if she was crunchymama from TB. She instantly knew who I was too!! I realize this is completely weird and creepy....
It does when you eat french toast for breakfast, cereal and chips for lunch, and mac & cheese and fries for dinner. IT'S TOO MANY CARBS sleepy.
I beg to differ. It does if I ate 5 pieces of french toast for breakfast, 3 bowls of cereal and a whole bag of chips for lunch, and 57 oz of mac n cheez for dinner. Portions, yo.
@connorsmama2006 costco sells caskets...that'd be another good place to get an employee discount....except that there is no employee discount other than free membership.
I mean, all I really have to do is sit on you. ...after I'm done torturing you by forcing you to smell freshly baked goods. Maybe I'll force you to eat them, too ::evil laugh:: MMmMmMmM (sorry, my mouth is full of sin)

My boyfriend and I checked out a "learning center" last week for next year for Avery since I have all these mom's telling me it is great. The waiting list is a year long. The whole interview went great until she uttered the works "we are Christian based". We are Agnostic...My boyfriend and I were like boo.... I think we will still save a spot and I guess he can say the prayer before their meals (which is totally catered by this Italian restaurant here).
