  • I don't mind doing stuff by myself like going to the movies or going out to eat.  I'm thinking about going to the movies by myself today, but I'm not sure if I will because I sent DS to daycare to do All. The. Packing.
  • I HATE country music. So much.
This makes my heart so sad.
You don't know what you are missing. I used to be like you....
Ha! I used to hate country music, too.  Then I worked at a place where I had to listen to it every day for seven years.  Now I secretly enjoy it.

    I know. I'm sorry- I can't help it.

I would not work in this place. Seriously. No money is worth to me to listening to country music for seven years.

  • I abhor planning parties.

I don't mind having people over or cleaning.  I just hate the logistics. (decorations, cake, food, what we should do when, food layout).

It was the best place I ever worked.  Hands down.

This is why I hate certain Holiday music.  After working 4 holiday seasons in a mall, I can't stand certain songs.

That's cool.  I guess your house will have to be the venue for all the parties.  You're not opposed to putting porta-potties in your yard, right?
If it means I don't have strangers using my bathroom.  Sure.

But my neighbors might be a little upset.

  • UO: that Mariah Carey song is one of the few Christmas songs I don't hate.
What???!?!! You like country music and hate Christmas music? How can you be so broken? And you hate the Doors, too, right?  We could never go on a road trip together...

  • It's true. I do hate the doors. And while I don't HATE Christmas music, I could live without it. I can't help that I have exceptional musical tastes and the rest of the world is so screwed up in what they think is awesome :) If I said I enjoyed musicals and show tunes would you stop being my imaginary friend all together?
LLOL, SAK.  Musicals and show tunes, huh?
  • I love Christmas music!!

But I can't stand Mariah Carey or country music. And I can't understand why country music is all trendy here now.

And like @mamalamb10‌ I'm not crazy about cats but that could just be because mine is a destructive asshole cat. I would like him a lot better if he would sit and purr and let me pet him like a normal cat.

  • Calling someone else's kid 'my baby' is totally gross and unacceptable.

I am in a pissy enough mood right now that I'm tempted to answer the next person with, 'Wow, I didn't realize that I was screwing you when I got pregnant.'
True story: Someone I know had a DC employee call her child "my baby."  She went right to the DC director and told on the woman, for fear that the woman was going to steal her baby.  Then she took her kid out of that daycare.

It never feels like fall where you live.  It just feels like a cooler summer day.
Whatever, 60 degrees is coooooolllllld.  That's why we pull out the boots and scarves.

LLOL! It's not uncommon around here to see someone wearing shorts or flip flops in March as soon as it's above 45 degrees. I shit you not.
Now I'm confused.  Philly, October... shorts and flops or boots and scarves?

  • I like country music, but sometimes it makes me sad to realize that DH will never be as romantic as a song like I Don't Dance. :( Also, watching country music videos always makes me want to bleach my hair and wear too much eyeliner. Maybe if I did, DH would be inspired to dance! :p
