    First time posting here. I've posted on the main forum and a few other posts.

    Background: MMC on June 26/14, D&C July 18/14. First AF August 7/14 (we think it was my period as does doctor and MW).

    I am currently in my 2WW as I only needed to wait 1 period according to my doctor. It gets a little tricky here though. DH and I started actively trying last week then I took a  test to make sure it came back negative  and it did not, thanks to left over HCG (random last minute thought, my nurse had said my hormones were normal and apparently her idea of normal and mine differ)

    Went to doctor, got a blood test and learned today HCG was 5 on Friday and HPT came back negative today. So YAHH for normal hormone levels! :)

    I may have missed the window though because my nurse on Friday said not to get pregnant while I still had retained HCG, so DH and I stopped trying over the weekend (and I had a minor panic attack) and then find out today everything is cleared to try after all.

    I'm currently not charting etc, so just going by dates for the time being, so I really have no idea when/if I ovulated.

    If all else fails, I at least am happy that my hormone levels have figured themselves out and even look forward to AF if that's what appears.

    @Amybunny30 where in Southern Ontario did you live? That is where I am !

    @Amybunny30 That was what my theory was. Last night I was bouncing back and forth wondering if we should try anyhow. It was making me really anxious though, so I went with not trying. Now that I know my levels were normal though after all I think if I do get a BFP I won't be as freaked out that I may have made a mistake.

    I have thought about temping etc, I'll look into it some more maybe over the next couple weeks.

    Really? I live in Simcoe (near Port Dover). So probably not far from where you were from, since it is also half way between Hamilton and London!

    @Amybunny30 now that's crazy. I'm not originally from here but DH grew up here and except for a few years in his 20s has always loved here.
