    @bekahlulu‌ My mom made me Pebbles on my second Halloween. She made my hair red and used a perm rod as the bone.

    RE: costumes
    I'm going to make Lily a Tardis this year. I was going to last year, but there was a lack of time. I have time to think about it this year and am trying to get the costume together.

    Eff. Me. My area got hit with around 6 inches of rain today and the whole area is flooded. I had about a foot and a half of sewage water in my finished basement. My neighbor actually had poop in her basement. Poop. My whole house smells and the next few days are going to SUCK. BAD. Ugh. All the chocolate for me please.

    Fell up the stairs, injured my arm (rammed it straight into the metal part of the stair), and ran out of ibuprofen. It hurts and it's just too late to go out and get ibuprofen.

    I'm assuming she didn't put the poop there? =))
    And I'm really sorry about the flooding that sucks. At least you didn't like the place much to start? Were you able to get your things out of the basement?
    We were able to get some stuff off the floor. My H went downstairs to change into shorts so he could move his car before it floated away, and it was just starting. So, him and I ran around unplugging stuff and trying to get stuff off the floor. Within 15-20 minutes we had about 16 inches of water in our basement. It was shooting up through his shower, shot the door open. Up through the drains and the toilet. Mostly the furniture down there will have to go. I mean, a lot is going to get thrown away, but we were able to salvage a lot of important things. Our landlord is a friend and he was here helping out. He's actually really great, I just hate his house. Lol. But, it wasn't just us. It's all over our news. People are still trying to get home from work because the freeways are so flooded.

    Oh and Alex got home from work and went to the bedroom to change. I walked in and his watching the bachelor in paradise! Haha he said it was getting good and didn't want to miss the drama lol

    @mcbush we didn't take G proper trick or treating until he was almost 3. Before that we just dressed him up for pictures and he helped hand out candy. There is a downtown business thing in the afternoon before Halloween every year and I have brought both boys to that so he will get strollered around at that.
    Halloween itself one parent will stay here with Lo and hand out candy and the other will take G around.

    @tiffletons518‌ we had a similar problem with sewage backup at our old house. Once it was done I had to spray the basement down with a hose to the drain in the middle of the floor. There were actual turds. It was disgusting. Once the physical matter was done we spray everything down with bleach.
    I'm so sorry :(
