Morningggg all! I'm rolling into work a little late this morning because we don't have a meeting, so I'm sitting here blissfully with my coffee!

My random thought for the day (so far): a friend liked a picture on facebook that popped up in my newsfeed--a cute couple holding a cake that read "Baby Blank Due March 29, 2015." And I'm all......wait a minute. Wait. That's after Feb 28......and I'm only 11 weeks. What the fuck?? Is that super early to anyone else???

Sounds like we`re having a similar morning. I was runming late to. Get to work and thia girl on my fb posted shes pregnant and due march 20th
so im with you i think its too early to announcr.but maybe thats my pgal brain kicking in.

I'm not even announcing on FB until after we know the sex at 19 weeks (if at all) and I'm second guessing myself everytime I see someone due after me announce. We've already told close family and friends (and continue to tell people we're close to as we see them in person), so it's not like anyone who matters won't know at that point. Oh well, to each their own.

I am on the east coast, and get to work WAY earlier than I think neccessary (around 7am) so hearing "late for work" at 7am seems baffling to me

Its ok. I get weird reactions akot because of my work hours. When I was night shift and going to college a guy asked me if i was a stripper because I was complaining how tired I was from working all night.

Early mornings just seem to be very stressful for some reason
I thought I am supposed to feel a lot more energetic now that I m 14 weeks. Unfortunately, I still feel exhausted all the time.

I'm lurking over from the March2015 board. Just had our ultrasound this week and I am now due Feb 25th. But I had a 'friend' on facebook announce her pregnancy about 2 weeks ago... her due date is April 5th!! I don't think the pee stick was even dry by the  time is was on facebook...

I work 6am-3pm.  Its the best schedule ever!!! Get to take a great preggo afternoon nap before my DH gets home.  

My dr suggested not to tell people until our second trimester.  I feel the same way when i see March announcements.  we told people last week after our NT scan at 12 weeks. And our Dr. said everything was healthy and it was OK to tell people.

Anyone suddenly dealing with terrible drivers on the road, or am I just more aware now that I am living for 2??  Some stupid teenage c*nt completely blew a stop sign in my neighborhood on Friday evening and almost hit me, then some asshole blew a red light Saturday and almost hit me again.  Luckily I was paying enough attention to realize in both instances, the cars didn't appear to be slowing down as they were approaching their stops.

I would be scared to announce to everyone I haven't told much family just a few friends a Sil, his mom, my cousin and sister. My parents know but just because they looked at my sisters msgs I wasnt planning on telling them. I guess its just exiting to want to tell the news to everyone especially if it was hard to get to that point or if its your first. I saw a couple of family friends and my niece the other day at my job. I said hi to them but always kept something to hide my belly which I feel is huge. (Only 13weeks yikes) especially since a lot of people kept thinking I was too skinny just this past January since I was actually going to the gym evey night after work with my bf. I was always slim but I was 118 around that time and now I'm prob 128 oh n todays my day off get to see baby B

HAHA sorry, God no. I was still home when I posted, but usually I'm already well on the road. I still rolled in at 8:30, usually I'm here at 8. Can't even fucking be late properly.

My lack of symptoms makes me nervous. I havent had really any symptoms other than fatigue but now i feel like i have none. maybe because im closer to second trimester? idk no syptoms scares me.

also last night my mom calls me and asked if DD was turning 5 or 6.

how can she think she was 4?? ive been in texas 5 years. shes turning 7 wtf. then my mother proceeds to tell me how shed like her to stay a summer with her. what makes this woman think i would send my daughter to stay with her and the man that abused me from the time i was 6 until i was 18 and could finally leave?

Oh also, I don't know if anyone read "The Hundred-foot Journey" by Richard Morais (highly recommended) but the movie just came out with Helen Mirren, and I took myself to see it this weekend (the popcorn and soda was to die for) and it was SO GOOD. It's like all food porn so a word of caution if you're not feeling 100% but I was near happy tears the whole time. So so cute.

Have to add: we announced to our families yesterday. As predicted, my parents lost it. My brothers and sister are already planning on how best to spoil the baby. My husband was on the phone until 9pm telling his family (he thought he'd let his parents spread the news to extended family, but kept on deciding to call more people; funny enough, his parents hadn't called anyone -- we think, though, there's an entire retirement community in Florida that knows I'm pregnant).

It was exciting and nerve-wracking. So weird that other people know.

I have seen two people due around the same time as me post an announcement on Facebook several weeks ago.

One of my BFFs announced her second on FB around 5weeks. I think she's oblivious to miscarriage risks, plus she shows very early with both pregnancies and gets VERY sick (throws up multiple times everyday for 9 months). So she couldn't hide it very long. But I still side eye her at 5 weeks.

re work: I got back on the fall schedule for my commute this morning - much better morning times (ie. 7:15 as opposed to 8:15) but I either have to leave at 3:55pm (which would still give me 8 hrs because I get in by 8 but just and no one else every comes in this early so I feel really weird leaving by 4 pm because most of my co-workers don't mosey on  in until 10 or so and leave at like 7 even though I do all my work) or 5:15. I hate how the bus only runs every 1hr and 15mins - it makes it hard to just be like, ah I will catch the next one - like you could do if it was a city bus.

I am sure the symptoms are okay! I don't have many anyway, and some days like NONE. My doc said it was fine and normal. I am sure everything is great.

As per the bolded . . . ugh I am SO SO SO sorry you had to deal with that. I can't believe your mom is still with him after doing that to you. Of course I would keep my baby from him as well. Hugs.

My mom has a world of issues. shes stayed with him because she wants someone to take care of her. She still doesn`t understand why I left even though I`ve clearly explained to her. It amazes me she even pulled that one om me last night. It may sound terrible but I dont let DD talk to her at all. My mother would be the kind to get on the phone witg her and tekl her why Im a bad person and how she should go live with her. At ine point while living in Tx my mother threatened to call the police on me for kidnapping her.

We posted at 9 weeks....I did tell my mom right away, she didn't understand why we wanted to wait to tell at all.

Girl that doesn't sound terrible at ALL. I can't imagine what you're dealing with. You are a bigger person than me, because it I'd gone through everything you have and my mom was still pulling that shit on me, I wouldn't be talking to her at all myself. You're a strong woman.

The first three years after I left I didn`t speak to her. But she would constanlty harass me. Ive been trying to be nice and have a realtionship with her but she makes it damn near impossible to just be civil.

We announced super early on instagram (mainly family and close friends), but we had a lot of people following our emotional IVF journey.  People kept calling and texting us asking so we posted a pic of our FRER and our beta.  I guess being open about our IVF cycle took the excitement out of the announcement.  I figured either way we needed support, everyone knew about our losses because I "came out" about our IF with a youtube video that I made.

With DD, we announced to the world at 8w5d, right after we had our first ultrasound. We had every intention of waiting longer but were too giddy to keep it all in. With this baby, we announced at 11 weeks. It was hard to hold it in this long! I'm on iPad, so excuse the big long paragraph. We are on our fourth straight day of rain. The toddler and I have been indoors all four days. We are about to drive one another crazy!

My lips feel so dry and sunburned today and I'm SO swamped at work today that I don't even have time to run out and buy a chapstick from CVS. WAHHH.

Although in things I'm looking forward to: I have an appointment for my first accupressure session tonight to help (hopefully) with my migraines. Keeping my fingeres crossed it works!

@Izzy0927 - Good look with the accupressure, migraines are the worst.  I have had one so far this pregnancy but got them constantly with my first.  Let me know how it goes!

We took A to the beach for the first time yesterday and she LOVED it.  We got to swim in the ocean and she enjoyed laying in the sand and chasing anyone she saw with a ball.  We were supposed to go to the rehab facility where my grandmother is afterwards but Adeline hadn't napped all day and was sound asleep in the car so we decided to skip it and I'm feeling REALLY guilty about it.  She had a stroke a few weeks ago and is starting to become senile but I just couldn't justify bringing a screaming toddler in to see her.  I'm going to try to go up again next week (it's about 1.5 hours away) to see her, my conscious doesn't feel good right now.

My husband posted on facebook the day I told him I was pregnant. I was like o.O WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?! It's my first pregnancy, I'm 21, healthy, and what not, but I felt like I needed to hear that heartbeat first.

My friends and family flooded us with well wishes, but now I feel like there's nothing to hide except the gender. Which I made DH swear we would keep a secret until the baby shower.

My dr. never even mentioned that they tested for the sex.  We chose not to do the test, don't think it would have changed my mind even if i knew.  Being a FTM I always pictured myself finding out at an ultrasound, not from bloodwork.

Mine brought it up, but we couldn't do it since we have twins, but being 35 and high risk, I had it done.  I can say now that it was clear that I wouldn't have done anything if it was positive, but it is easy to say that in highsight of course.  

We hope to find out the sexes via ultrasound in 9 days if the ninjas cooperate, so just another step to look forward to!

Yay @mandamoochie‌ ! From the time that Adeline took her first independent steps it was about a month before she walked nonstop. Now she runs and refuses to crawl...it's a whole new world!
