@steamboat123 and @elmoali DH's parents went to get lunch somewhere after the movies when he was 12 and they tried to go to the Squire because they 'didn't know what it was.' After living here and passing it I keep thinking "how the hell did you NOT know what that was?!" DH even said, "I thought it looked shady, fortunately a bouncer stopped us."
Growing up on the south shore I used to LOVE driving up route 1. It was so trashy it was awesome.
Oh no. Now we're going to throw DOWN! South Shore vs North Shore!! Kidding. It's trashy and like a whole different world from the south shore but it's where I grew up so it's got a ghetto-heart warming feeling for me lol

No more Hilltop cows though!
My ex swears they have amazing steak tips lol
I don't want to know what steak tips is slang for.

@steamboat123 STAHP! You're making me oddly homesick lol Where I live now there is a farm with cows literally next door to Kohls. I can't wrap my brain around it.
Fondest memory of Hilltop: When I was 8 I had to have some major tests done to find out why I was so short (spoiler alert - it's because my parents are not tall. Who would have guessed that shit?). Anyway, I had to fast from the night before and all day and they put me into a diabetic attack and all this stuff to run the test and when I was done I was starving to the point I thought I could eat my own arm. My parents took me to Hilltop and I ordered a steak, potato, veggie, the whole thing. The waitress came over and asked, teasingly who had helped me and about died when my parents said I'd eaten it myself. I was probably 3.5 feet tall lol
Been super busy today, just wanted to fly in to say I'm mad at DH too, but it's more that I let so much fly that he needs to make it up to me (even though he is gone for the week).
Bradley moves up to the preschool class next week!! And Ty got bit today but didn't cry so they didn't know until after naptime. #secondchild
Ty was begging for my fork, I don't think he knows what he's doing.
@elmoali I know you've stated it before but how short are you now? I'm just wondering if I shouldn't be upset with my parents for not finding out why I am so short?! (Spoilers: my mom is 4'11 and my grandma is 4'9 - THAT is why I am so short).
I didn't hit 5' until my sophomore year in high school. That's where I have held steady.
I'm between 4'10 and 4'11. They we're testing my pituitary function. My parents aren't tall but I'm extremely short even compared to them. If I were your parents I wouldn't have tested you just like I won't ever test the boys because if they're short I already know why lol
While I definitely think it's not the norm to have male teachers, I totally wouldn't mind and would like the boys to have more male interaction. G loves hanging with "the big boys" so he would be super excited if school had a male teacher. Around 3 my nephew was pushing around a doll stroller saying, "look, I'm a mommy!" because he was so used to mommies doing all the child care stuff. It was adorable but a bit of a bummer that he only associated women with child care.
@WasNotWas I have no idea, but that sounds so fun!
I'm stupid excited. This is a work friend who is my age but (obvi) doesn't have kids so we have fabulous nights out she's got a whole babysitters suite and even printed me out the map on how to drive there to save money!!
@NurseMommy13 I'm sorry. Your ex and his girlfriend are trash so try not to let them get you down. I truly think that karma is a b!tch so they'll get what they deserve in time.
Alright @NurseMommy13 , I'm jumping in the car and I'm coming down there to kick his ass! I hope you don't mind keeping an eye on Grayson for me while I take care of some business. What a piece of shit.
Did he eventually tell you or did you find out from someone else?
A friend of a friend of a family member is friends with this girl on FB. And they have been doing some investigative work that I was unaware of. They screen captured her announcement. With her BLOAT belly. 11 weeks and she thinks she's actually got a big bump.
Ugh I'm so so sorry. But I am sooooo glad you and M got out of there! I can't imagine the pain and anger you're feeling right now. Sending love and hugs your way.
A is making me go to bed because I've been binge watching OITNB since Grayson went to sleep and it's getting super late for me. I want to keep watching but I know he's right and that I know I need to go to bed. Dang it for having to be responsible!
I'm up late again with the feelings. I start work next Wednesday and while I'm blessed to find such a great job I'm going to miss my children so much and I'm having trouble coping with the emotions that come with this. I've done it before and survived it, but it still feels like a mountain to climb. Anyone have any tips/words of wisdom/cookies/shoulders for me to cry on? (
@NurseMommy13 what a schmuck. I hate to say this but he's probably going to cheat on her one day. You got the best part of him already.
I was thinking to write this very same thing. You deserve better and you and LO are better off without him. He'll have to explain his actions to his children one day.
Traveling to Iowa today for work...sucks. I hate leaving A. I know she'll be ok but H definitely isn't as attentive and patient with her as he needs to be so they both get frustrated. Hope the next few days fly by.
Re: That *SPAM* is poison, never trust a big butt and a smile.

Oh so it's like that? <gets out knife>
JK, I'm a transplant so I don't really count.
I AM OFF THE HOOK! Dh's meeting finished early, he will make his normal train home in time.
Woot woot, no Kowloon drive by today!
