  • @Maelara - Is that a depiction of a sugar skull (I think that's what they're called???) in your profile pic?

I have no idea. I found it one day looking for tattoo ideas and it stuck.
  • @cindyNmark2010‌ is Cindy short for anything or is that your FN?
@MrsC430‌ what's your favorite thing about living in New England?
  • @brooklyngirl18 What's your favorite spot to eat in BK??

@cindynmark2010 ahh too many to choose from! aldila, joya, fushimi, la villa, roll n roaster...i could go on
A girl after my own heart!  There was a really good thai place near there that I think just recently closed.
@cindynmark2010i miss roll n roaster i havent been in years. i think me and dh will be taking a ride in the near future :) we ate at brennan and carr recently and he likes that better but i still want my roll n roaster. you're from staten island, right? what's your favorite restaurant there?

@brooklyngirl18 It's a toss up between two.  Trends has a really great stuffed artichoke and a pretzel chicken roulade with kiwi sauce that is out of this world.  Second place is Pepperjack Grill and they make awesome mac and cheese and they have sangria flights :)
yum! i need to check those out next time i'm in SI.

  • @FirstBabyDoyle I wish it was, but Cindy is on my birth cert.  Everyone always asks if it's really Cynthia.  It's probably the reason I like names that can have nicknames so much.

  • @morrkim do you have twins in the family?

None, it was quite a shock.

@morrkim - what is your best physical feature?

DH would probably say my boobs, because I am a DDD.  I think I would say my eyes.

@Becks517‌ How long have you been married?
I've been married for just over a year, the 517 in my screen name is for our wedding day, 5/17 of 2013. @Dimples0101‌ does your username mean you have dimples? I always wished I did!
Yes, I have dimples; Dimples is one of my nicknames.  I can actually fit a quarter in them.  DD has dimples, too.  I think I'll need to teach her how to hold a dime in them and she can work her way up to a quarter.

  • @uncharted01 - forgot to say thank you for the compliment!

@firstbabydoyle - I actually came up with that SN years ago from the Sublime song, which was a favorite at the time. Years later, after meeting my husband (huge dead fan) I realized that it was a cover!

@sj+cm131 - I majored in Earth Science, with a minor in Biology.  I work as an insurance underwriter now, which is definitely not my dream job, but the pay is better!

  • @runningmama14 How often do you do races?  Does your husband also run?

My husband and I both run.  We plan most of our vacations around half-marathons.  I have run 30 half marathons in 15 different states.  I am really slow, but I was getting a lot better. Now that I am pregnant, I have really slowed down.  Not sure if I will ever go for the marathon distance.

That's awesome that you guys do it together! Running vacations would be right up my alley. DH isn't really a runner. He doesn't train at all, but can do a 5k or 4 miler at my pace without any prep. Kinda pisses me off ;-) He'll join me every once in awhile for something short. I like it that way. It's my thing to go do. He's a great fan though! My bfp came right at the end of an insane race schedule. I did 60 races in one year in honor of my dad's 60th birthday. I had no intention of running a marathon at the end, but by about halfway through I realized that I would never be closer training wise and I was going to be running anyway. Might as well bump the distances up and finish big! DH was at almost every race, even the weeks where I did two or three and had to drive several hours to get there. I'll never run like that again, but would like to get back to doing a couple half marathons a year. I dropped way off since pregnant and I really miss just being able to sign up for a half a week away and knowing I'll be able to do it.

Wow - 60 races in a year!  That is ambitious!  I assume they were distances from 5k on up?  I don't do too many distances outside of 13.1.  5ks are plentiful around here, so I have to care about the cause or have a friend talk me into it.

I started this pregnancy in the best shape of my life.  I ran 4 half marathons since my BFP, the last one in May when I was 15 weeks pregnant.  It was in MD and we flew in for it the night before.  Due to a cancelled flight, we didn't get settled in to our hotel until midnight.  I got through the first 5 miles pretty well, but then my legs just got really heavy and I ended up walking most of the last 8 miles.  That was when I decided I was done with long distances for this pregnancy.  I am still trying to get out and get some running in.  Did a few miles this morning.

Good luck with your running and getting back into it after this pregnancy!

Wow. I'm slightly in awe of you. I have it in my mind to do the Philly Broad Street Run (10 miles) but the most I've ever done is a 5k...although before the BFP I was able to do 6 miles at a time. Maybe next year...it'll give me something to do to get any baby weight off!

  • So @kyliedaniellexx you haven't love tit'd this yet but I'm going to assume you will because I think I remember you mentioning way back (in my lurking days) that you and your FI met through an online game - and I want to know the story!
It has been lovetitted! We met through an online game, yes :) we met and played together a while, talking in game and on the voice communication program we all used. One day randomly had a conversation on skype, I still have no idea how it originated. Talked for hours and every day after that as well. After about a year of talking morning til night, falling asleep talking on skype etc he convinced me to come visit. I was going through the roughest part of my life thus far and he was all that was keeping me going. So I got on a bus and off I went on a 600 mile adventure. I had the time of my life visiting for 2 weeks and left heartbroken that I had to go. After a few months at home the distance was killing me and we started making plans for me to come down for good. Short time later and here I am... and now we're expecting a baby and he's about to become my secret husband! I guess it's funny how things work out...
Love tit! That was my next question- if you had decided on the secret husband thing! Yay!

  • lizzielu82 - wow, that was a lot of typing! You go girl!

The picture is one I took on my honeymoon in Thailand/Cambodia. It is at the Ta Prohm temple near Angkor Wat. (The temple is also known as the Tomb Raider temple since they did some filming there for the movie.)

I realized after I made it my pic and had used it for a while that it was hard to really tell. :( And now I don't want to confuse people by changing it.
