I think the TrendyBumz does get brought up a fair bit but I still find it funny. And this is one of the nicest boards around, always helpful responses.

I am also guilty of lol. I try to pay attention to how much I am using it but I feel like I need it there sometimes so that people know that I'm joking. I'm a sensitive soul so I'm afraid of hurting others in that way.

thats what i was trying to find when i googled earlier, but i didnt even get the real etsy shop. ohhhh cuz its with an S not a Z. I didn't see the original thread come up - but I don't spend much time with TB search engine.

That may be because the OP deleted it (I think) when they slinked away in shame. I'm not entirely sure. @maydaygirl590 -- it was a spam post poorly disguised as a request for recommendations. She got called out on it, denied it vehemently, and eventually gave up. It was all very exciting.

Probably why I shouldn't bump while DS is coloring. My attention is too divided. I LLOL'd when she posted that, because I was imagining someone saying that in an IRL conversation. In a wide-eyed, incredulous sort of way.

1. I know about the TrendyBumz joke but I wasn't there when it happened, so I can't truly appreciate it.  That's probably why I don't think its funny (at least not in a newbie thread).  Also, I couldn't find the original thread either and couldn't find the shop because I was using Z instead of S.

2.  I totally agree with the thing about jumbled, illiterate text paragraphs and asking stupid newbie questions about stuff that is discussed all.the.time., so they shouldn't be mad when they get snarky answers.

3.  I LOVE this board and think its one of the nicest (and safest) boards on the bump that doesn't get snarky just to be bitches.

4.  AND...I just looked at the Etsy shop and O.M.G. her photos are TERRIBLE.  Is she serious with that???  LLOL!!!!!!!  Now I might have a little more appreciation for the joke.  *still laughing*

The best thing about it is that her spamming actually did get her sooooo much advertising because of the ongoing joke now.  Someone's going to have to eventually break down and buy one.

Posting pics of your drinks/food (but more especially drinks) on FB every time you go out doesn't make you look cool.

It more makes you look like an alcoholic.

Not to say I haven't posted pics of drinks, but only if it's special or something and food if I just made a new thing or a cake maybe.  I have people who do this every time they go out to eat or out drinking and it's like, really? What, have you never seen a glass of beer before?
