I've been lurking the Parenting board a lot lately and I find their topics of discussion strangely fascinating. I mean, why don't we have recurring Harry Potter discussion threads? WHY? Also, I'm a lot chicken to jump in with them. It's intimidating, yo.

I told my husband we need to stop eating out so much & made him take a sandwich to work last night. Then I got cash back at the gas station this morning so I can get lunch today & not have it show up on my bank statement. I was just too lazy to make my own lunch.

I am not that freaked out by everyday germs. My husband is, way more than I. Sometimes after I pee, I just turn the water on to make him think I am washing my hands. (I do wash my hands very frequently and appropriately at work.)

I just don't understand why you would go to the trouble of turning the water in and not wash your hands. I feel like if it's already on, it's silly not to wash them.

H doesn't drink, like at all. I can count on one hand the number of times he had drank with me. I like drinking. He doesn't care if I have one or two glasses here and there, as long as I'm not drunk. Once in a blue moon, when he has to work late I test my limits and see how drunk I can get without him noticing.

I've never been on Twitter or Instagram (or snap chat)

I sometimes purposefully wait awhile before replying to things because I want to make it seem like I have a life and am just too busy (I'm not).

Hopefully none of my coworkers wanted a Twix bar because I dug in the candy jar to make sure I got every last one.

I'm a little embarrassed that my FFFC are usually food related so I lead with 2 non-food related confessions.

I had a dream last night that I walked in on my husband kissing his friend from high school. They are both married, I know that he has never been interested in her. I just made her a baby present, and I talk to her far more often now than he does. I'm still mad at him right now for my dream even though I know it's dumb.

I have been there before-- I had a dream awhile ago that DH cheated on me and blamed me for it since I had been so busy with work.  I was *furious* when I woke up and it took me awhile until I could talk to him and explain why.

FFFC- I'm still eating cream cheese icing from the can but I scaled back how much after polishing off an entire can over like 10 days.

I cannot stand listening to my H complain about his back, feet, nose, dick hurting. It drives me insane.
So I convinced him to do reverse complaints. Instead of saying "My back hurts so bad, can you massage it? " He had to say something like "Man, my back feels so awesome I could do gymnastics right now!"

DH was mad at me last night for how i said something (still not 100% sure) and instead of watching TV together I went and read a book. Loved it! He had his grump fest and I enjoyed relaxing.
Thought he was over it by this morning but he never said goodbye this morning and he always says goodbye. Now I am all kinds of upset.

When my DH is out with his friends, I don't mind because I secretly write trashy smutty fanfic while he's not at home. All my writing files are saved in a series of boring places, with boring file names like 'Paper'.

I have another confession - I hate that DH refuses to listen to his voice mails or read the correspondence emails for our mortgage before he speaks with me.  I've left him detailed messages and have responded to emails on his behalf and he calls me only to ask 'what's up?' or 'whats going on with xyz?'  Seriously!? Check your voice mails and emails.  GAH!

um, this has totally happened to me, but with my old running sneakers turned walk-the-dog sneakers. I can't wear them in a closed space without gagging. - In a car with no windows down is horrible, just horrible.

Haha omg this is all of my flats. Tell me how you washed them! I have that faux suede crap on two pairs of mine and I can't toss them in the washing machine.

I've had 3 RE appointments this week. I have to pass a Starbucks (2 actually) on my half mile walk there. I've gotten a frappucchino on every.single.trip. They were tasty. I have no regrets.

DH works 7 on 7 off in the ER that is about 10 steps from our house. While I love all of the time I spend with him on his off week I am over it!

So today I scheduled myself meetings that are not importan and I plan on hanging out in my pjs and catching up on shows I missed this week because he was home. Every once in a while I will go open and shut the house door, because our security system will tell on me if I don't make it look good!

ETA: Today is his first day back at work.

This doesn't make any sense to me. If its standard policy for the store (meaning they aren't just singling you out), then you should show your receipt.

It makes sense in some places like Costco, where there are no bags, the exit is not in view of the check-out, and where you can freely walk between the two - making it easier to steal something. However, in places like Walmart, where they watch you check out, watch you walk 10 steps to the exit, then make you give them the receipt where they don't even check your bags - I am with you.

I love spoilers. I will go out of my way to spoil myself for movies and tv shows. I feel like I can concentrate more of the details when I already know what's going to happen and it gives me more enjoyment in my viewing.

I have a dozen or so dryer sheets I keep in my shoes closet for that reason. Team flats with no socks!

I guess my new confession is that I don't understand open relationships in the slightest. I don't judge people for doing it, but I just don't get it. All I can think of is disease statistics and the prevelance of mouth herpes when I think about that stuff.

ETA: It's probably due to my distrust of strangers and introversion, now that I think of it.

Thanks slapps. Yes, DH was there. Yes, DH encouraged it. Yes, DH is OK with it. I mean we have rules/boundaries/discussions but we're pretty liberal with hall passes for each other, KWIM. It's not something that works for everyone, but it works for us and we're OK with that. 

Ahhhhhhh that makes sense. I read it as you went out without your husband. My bad. Thanks for clarifying.

ETA-fyi, if it's something your husband was there for and encouraging, I don't think it's wrong. I was asking because I misread your OP.

My little dog loses his whiskers sometimes. If I find them I save them. I know when he is no longer with me I am going to see them and remember his tiny little face with his super long whiskers that are always twitching and tickling my face when he kisses me. 

My mom saved all of our baby teeth and I really don't think it is that different.

I'm confused by this. Stores (besides Costco) make you show a receipt? Like, even if you have bagged stuff? This has never happened to me...

Your concern is about diseases spreading. Same thing happens to single people. A couple is actually more likely to ask about those things and take proper precautions.

So yes, I was responding to what you actually wrote- that they would spread diseases by having an open relationship. That is comparable to someone being single and having multiple partners and spreading shit around.

Yes, I agree, singular sleeping around also spreads disease. I think it's just funny that you are trying to make it look like I am some kind of cheerleader for cheating. That's like hearing someone talk about eating a hotdog, and accusing them of beating thier dog.

Yep, stores like Wal-Mart or Target will stop random people to ask to see their receipt.  Every time they have done it to me I have everything I bought in a bag.
